I have a case for an LMS 4.0 running in a Live environement (With devices already discovered and organized into seperate groups), where the Device Credential and repository DCR is showing suddenly as empty and only i can see the groups listed, but without any devices in them (Through Inventory > Device Administration > Add/Import/Manage Devices).After a restart of the whole LMS server a few weeks ago, the problem was fixed and the devices appeared again, but now the same issue re-appeared.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy router is Cisco 2811 with IOS version 12.4(22)T1. It had established IPSec with another peer (203.*.*.250 shown below) for long until recently we make it re-establish IPSec VPN with another peer (203.*.*.30 shown below). It showed that the new sa is active but the result still showed there were 4 deleted SAs. The 4 obsolete sa entries won't vanish no matter what I do i.e. reset the interface, re-create crypto map, clear all sa and etc.
From numerous testings we knew that the VPN doesn't work even the desired sa is there remaining active. I reckon it has something to do with those deleted sas ( i mean it is supposed to show only the last one if it is working fine ). I don't know how it would be come like this as we did pretty much the samething on other VPN routers with no problems.
I have installed a new 2901 router with the IOS version 15 code (c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-3.T.bin). I have a template config that I have created for my remote VPN routers that I have been using on 2811 routers with version 12.4 (c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T1.bin).I do have the securityk9 active on the 2901 software

Issue is when I do a "show crypto session" the GRE tunnels session status read down on the 2901 router but on the 2811 session reads up-active. Everything is working and I am routing over the GRE Tunnels.

I'm having an issue with my Cisco 2811. The Internal FastEthernet0/1 interface is showing Link up but Protocol down. I have tried various combinations with the speed and duplex on the port and having no luck.The port connects to our Fortigate 110c router.

my computer is a dell dimension 1100, with a Linksys WMP54G wifi card, running vista home basic.In the wifi thing in the notification area, it shows two wireless networks, One is my normal SSID (Lower Net), and one is "Unidentified network". They are both on one wireless connection (Wireless Network Connection 3). When i try to go on the internet, it says i'm not connected. i tried disconnecting from the unidentified network, but that disconnects me from lower net too.

We had no success.Last weekend we tried to get David's Win7 laptop and Win7 desktop to share the Internet connection that his desktop has. After attempting to start it an error is reported that says "ICS service started and then stopped".

View 10 Replies View Relatedafter upgrading from Prime LMS 4.1 to 4.2 (Windows version) the "All Devices" group and all the other system defined groups are empty.
The "Inventory dashboard" shows 397 reachable devices which is correct. I can access the devices when I type the name into the search field in the upper right corner of the LMS page.
When I open a device selector (e.g. from the "Device Management" tab) all system defined groups are empty.
When I make a new user defined group with the definition "IP address contains '1'" I get a group with all devices.

Standby not ready to show bootvar, I want to remove SXF8 and leave SXI8 alone. I removed both IOS file names in boot system and added the SXI8 again and saved. So this would be the output after.

I have seen some discussion in the forums regarding user defined groups being empty in LMS 4.0 but not 4.1. I am having this issue in 4.1. Under User Defined groups, I have created 2 logical groups named "Physical Location" and "Switches". These do not contain any actual devices, they are just containers for other groups. Under the Physical Location logical group I have created 2 other groups, Acuna and Hampton. Under the Switches group I have also created 2 groups, HDM and HHC. The criterion for the Physical Location group is based on the first 3 characters of the hostname:
Device.System.Name startswith "hdm"
The criterion for the Switches group is based on the value of a user defined field, Admin_responsibility:
Device.Admin_responsibility equals "HDM"
The Physical Location groups work - the Switches group does not. Both the HDM and the HHC group should contain several devices. The HDM group contains 2, the HHC contains none. If I edit the groups and click "next" until I get to step 3, Membership: Edit, the "objects matching criteria" list is fully populated - it contains the devices that it should contain. However, after I click "Finish" and go to Inventory => Add / Import / Manage Devices there is no change in group membership - the HDM group contains 2 devices and the HHC group contains none.
After an upgrade from LMS 4.2 to 4.2.1 Legacy menu is completely empty. Is it a bug? If it's empty, how to get to some of DFM options (like rediscovery, discovery status etc.) They seem not present in "Site map".

I'm trying to check history on an ASR. I tested same config on a 3845 and was forgetting the "history filter all". After this I could see history table on 3845 but still history is empty on the ASR1006. The operation started because I can see information with "show ip sla statistics".
know if i missed something or maybe this is not supported in ASR1006?

I have this situation, I need to establish an IP sec communication to another site but I need to identify all my packets sent, as a different networks as my local one. for example: my local network is 10.5.0.0/24 and I need to sent packets as 10.6.0.0/24. I suppose that I need to do Nat with this IPs. But in this router Nat is already applied to outbound traffic to Internet. How can I apply this NAT to crypto map only?

My wlan card has been dodgy recently disconnecting and reconnecing but now does not work at all. It is no longer shown in device manager I installed the drivers for it from the disc that came with it and ones from the internet but no luck from what I've read online it says my laptop (advent 9617 - ancient i know) came with the Ralink RT73 USB Wireless.
It also keeps popping up "this device can perform faster is you connect to a high speed port" I took off the casing to have a look at it and I can't see any dodgy wires or connections unless its somewhere I can't see or get to. I just took it out and put it back in but no luck.
I can still get on through wired LAN but live in shared accomodation and it's a bit inconvenient when I'm trying to work. Oh and there's no router problems as my phone and housemates laptops connect fine.
I've been having some problems with my Ethernet connection lately.I unplugged my laptop from the Ethernet connection I had at my old place.At two different locales, I have tried to use an Ethernet connection in order to get better speed (the wireless at the first locale was non-existent and at the second it is extremely slow in my room). I have done so with two separate cables that I have tested on others' computers and found that they are perfectly fine. That, of course, leads me to believe that it is my computer and is either a hardware or software problem (here's hoping it's the latter).Anyway, my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1720 (purchased in 2006). About a year ago, I updated to Windows 7 from the pre-installed Vista. Never had any problems (as I said, everything was fine up until about a week ago). The installed card is a Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller. Everything under Device Manager indicates that the hardware is working properly and has all of its drivers installed, but nothing is working.I have tried to uninstall and re-install the drivers (albeit by allowing windows to find them automatically), but the result is the exact same.I have checked the port and found that there is no debris or obstructions. My computer hasn't been dropped or mishandled in any way.I'm currently being housed on the campus of Delta State University, which is why this appears, but here is the report: [code]
