When I am viewing live recorded video through d-viewcam I can hear the audio. I currently have 2 camera recording 24/7. When I go to playback to play a certain clip, there is no sound at all. When I save a clip and click export audio, still no sound.

The biggest problem is that when I record it the the Main Console program I hear nothing on playback. Does anyone have a DCS-2121 camera that records sound properly so it can be heard on playback using the standard D-Link software program?
Taking another look at Dview cam today after not touching it for 3 months after initial install.The dcs-2132L can't connect.I can to the 2132L directly... I changed the port as a test.. Port 80 wasn't working originally.

I have just purchased 3 DCS-932L'S and installed 3.11 D-ViewCam software. I have done my best to configure the mainconsole correctly so that my cam's will record on motion based occurances on a weekly schedule of 24 hours a day everyday. I have a lot of evidence that the system is recording as when I have the console open that there is motion detected and there are 3 folders in my nas unit that has tons of .dat files in them. My problem comes in when using the playback system. When I select the search by date/time button and locate the folder that is for a the camera I am interested in playing video for the results never show up!

But if I record the video and play it back, there is no audio on the playback. I have the microphone on the camera enableI now have sound recording, however, the audio is about 3 seconds behind the video. Is there a setting somewhere to keep them synchronized? I have checked all the video sync checkboxes I can find.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSetup my DCS-930L for DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) so I can access the DCS-930L via the Internet (couldn't access the camera half the the time while on vacation using mydlink) and can now access the camera using my laptop, Android Thrive, and Motorola Droid 3 via the URL I've created but can only see the video when using the laptop.
I have the DCS-930L set to Java but when I log into the camera with the Thrive or Droid 3 (both Android devices) I don't get video. I can make changes to the camera settings and everything else you can do when logged into the camera but just can't see the video. If I change the 'View Mode' in the video setup to 'Image', I will get a picture on all three devices (Thrive, Droid 3, and laptop).
What do I need on the Droid 3 & Thrive so I can see the video when I log into the DCS-930L with an Android device?
I'm puzzled that you don't seem to be able to do this (a basic feature). Seems like when motion is detected you can only send an email or do the DI/DO thing.
I can do this quite well via the direct web-based interface (1.03 and earlier at least) on the DCS-1130, but the 932L doesn't have video record on motion option (baffled as to why not there too, but that's another issue). So, I was thinking of using the DCS software to get motion-detected recording out of the 932L, but looks like I can't do that either?
I originally began using my D-Link cameras, two DCS-5300s and a single DCS-6620, with the IP Surveillance software. I see that the software is no longer recommended and may no longer be available. Any explanation for the move to the DView Cam software ? If I were to convert over to DView Cam from IP Surveillance will I lose any functionality or features. Will there be any functionality or features gained ?

Since then streaming video has seemed choppy and thebuffer keeps needing to reload, even Netflix. Could there be anything in the update that would have changed things? The video played with no issues before. Another question, if a computer is using a direct, wired connection to the router, is that a straight connection from the modem or is the signal still sent through the modem hardware/software?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently replaced my Linksys WRV54G with a Linksys e2000 where I stream H.264 vido in 480p from one computer connected over gigabit to my Media Center running on Windows 7 64 bit connected at 10/100.
Before the router change, I was able to playback video over the network with no problems. If I connect the Linksys WRV54G again, the issue goes away. The Linksys WRV54G does not have gigabit and I have read related issues of video stuttering over gigabit.
I can't get the Video to record to the SD card, nothing happens. Snapshots record fine.

I have connected CeeLab C300 video confernce system to our lan connectet to linksys wag200g. I have forwarded all the ports listed in manual to work without public ip. The problem is that system connect with our branch in other city, sound is great but i have no video on our tv. The other side has an audio and video but using public ip. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a DCS-942L. Everything was working fine on my setup until I upgraded the firmware the other day. In the mydlink.com website when I logged in that day, it stated a firmware upgraded was needed. So I clicked on upgrade, let it run its thing and then tried to view the playback and now the thumbnails are just black and when I click on one, it looks like it is loading but then shows the quicktime icon with a question mark over it. I upgraded my Quicktime component and that didn't fix it either. So I went into advanced settings, downloaded the new firmware upgrade from there by saving the zip file and uploading it via the advanced settings website, and still nothing. I have another camera, same setup, that I have not upgraded firmware on yet and that playback is working fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been testing my new DCS-942L and found that while the motion detection works great it is sometime hindered by the audio mic setting of motion detection. I have turned down the microphone settings to the lowest (10) and the only difference is miniscule. The camera will still set off the motion detection prior to anyone being in the screen, and if the person enters the screen immediately after the noise the camera will not record the movement.
I have adjusted the sensitivity down to 25% and continued having the issue. I would like to record motion with sound. So either the microphone needs to be able to be adjusted lower, or not set off the motion detector.
How do i use dcs-932l with d-viewcam. I tryed to connect but d-viewcam does not recognize model.

I was just wondering if there is a different way to watch those cameras using my computer. I was looking for a dedicated D-link APP or Program so I don't have to use the browser anymore.

When I attempt to connect them to D-View Cam 3.11 they fail to connect or will not stay connected.I first tried connecting to the router with both cameras in the same room as the router. One will connect and stay connected but the other will connect and freeze or not connect at all. If I move th GOOD camera out of the room, it will not connect.Do I have a router issue? During the day it works great, but after nightfall the camera shows random lines in the [poor] video. These lines are being picked up as motion and as such the camera records all night long taking up massive amounts of disk space. Even when I put the camera motion detection on 'lowest' value, it still picks it up.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI having issues with DView 3.11 on a WinXP Professional with SP3.There are 4 DCS 5300G cameras wired to the router.I can see the cameras using IE, but when I try to configure the DView in the camera section with the autodetect button it will show an error that the camera cannot be identified.I had checked the IP address, port, user & pass everything is ok. I even hard reseted one of the cameras and it won't work.
