The USB Bluetooth device is connected successfully and the Bose Speaker shows on the system but with errors. having recently installed the correct bluetooth module inside our dell insprin1750, all the drivers loaded fine and it said all installed ok, I can see all items in the control panel/hardware list as all ok... not highlighted or anything so assume its all ok. When I click on the bluetooth icon down on the bottom is pops up and says bluetooth is working but not visable to other devices click here to change... which I do, then the problem.... nothing happens after that !
I am unable to add any devices to bluetooth list despite it saying its working ok in hardware properties etc.
My last resort is to restore pc to factory state via re-install of windows 7 but I do not really want to go down this route if at all possible.... I have tried restore to no avail.
My laptop is equiped with an old WLAN adapter, which handles G standard maximum.

I have a Dell 1750 inspiron T4300W7 laptop which worked fine until one night whilst connected to internet via a 3 dongle it just cut off. I have used the dongle many times on this laptop without issue and the dongle still works on my other laptop fine. The Dell laptop now wont connect via any internet method ie wireless or dial up connection, it just says No network access. I run a diagnose and a message said ip address not configured.

This afternoon, I plugged in a Belkin bluetooth adapter F8TO16 and paired it with a pair of 7dayshop headphones. Instead of leaving well alone with an old driver, I decided to update the Belkin driver - which went well. However, the Dell 365 Module then reported an error and trouble shooting informed me that it now had a driver error. Windows searched for and found a driver, but could not install it.. I've since downloaded and installed new Dell drivers for it but I still get the same result - can't install driver. (The module was working fine before I up-dated the Belkin driver.)
I figure I now have to un-install the Module and then install an up-dated version. Is this the right way to go and if it is, how do I go about it? I'm using Win7 64 bit on an Inspiron 1750.

I have recently reinstalled the Vista 32 bit OS on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. The wireless card installed is a Dell 1395 WLAN mini card. I checked and the card and it is enabled. If I connect the internet cable it works. When I search for a wireless network, none appear even though other computers are accesing the router that is next to the computer.

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 1764 laptop that I received on the 25th of June. It is "replacing" a Dell Inspiron 9100 that has gotten to be too slow and bulky for my needs. For support purposes, both laptops are running on Windows 7.Overall, I love my new Inspiron 1764. However, I have noticed seriously degraded connection/signal strength with the wireless card (Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-card) compared to my Inspiron 9100 (Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN Mini-PCI card).
In areas of my house that my 9100 can get full signal strength (5 bars), my new 1764 is getting 2 or fewer bars. This behavior is also not limited to only my house, as I have tested it at my job and in an area less than 10 feet away from the wireless router, I have "Internet connectivity problems".
I tried twice this morning to speak with Dell support. The first person I spoke at least initiated a DellConnect session with me so that they could check some of my settings and such (however, why they went twice into my sharing settings I could not determine since they have absolutely nothing to do with signal strength.)
Unfortunately, I was disconnected from the session when I went to an area that had less signal than right next to my wireless router.I then got back on chat support with Dell and received another technician to speak with. I explained my problem, told them that I was in a DellConnect session with the other technician, and they looked up my support contract.They then told me that my warranty does not cover software issues and referred me to the software department and told me it would be an extra charge. I told them that I did not believe it to be a software issue in any way, shape, or form. They told me that it must be a setting issue. I have since spent several hours scouring the internet forums on Dell and other websites checking people who have had similar issues. Some of their issues were admittedly from software settings, but I have still yet to find anything that indicates to me that I have an incorrect software setting.
As of this writing, I am standing in my kitchen, typing on my Inspiron 9100 with a full 5 bars, while my Inspiron 1764 sits next to me with a measly 2 bars, and I am literally standing 7 feet above the room that houses my Linksys WRTU54G-TM router.Personally, I suspect a faulty wireless card, but how do I convince Dell to hear my case and replace it rather than trying to bilk me for unneeded software support?
My XPS M1330 was working fine until today. While using the computer, it disconnected from my home wireless network. Windows Device Manager tells me the device is working normally. The WiFi switch is on but the WiFi catcher doesn't find any networks. I can connect to my home network with an Ethernet cable and my desktop, which is on the same network, can connect so i know its not my modem or router.

However, the Wireless N band does not show up under the detected networks listing. Can someone help figure out why the Wireless N does not appear under the listing? My wifi was working just fine this morning, then my 1 yr old pushed some keys when I turned away for a minute, now my wireless won't turn on. I have tried the F2 + Function key several times, I've rebooted and tried to search possible solutions. My other laptop is connected to my router just fine, so I am sure it is just a computer issue. I have an Inspirion 1750. Also, is there any indicator of wireless on this computer? I have to go into network to see if it is on, it seems there should be an easier way (my other computers have a wifi light).

There were no drivers specified for Windows 7 in Dell Driver Download so I installed Vista drivers, connected to internet via LAN Cable and upgraded most of the drivers.
WiFI networks could be detected when installed for the first time but after a shutdown it never detects again. Sometimes it randomly detects, I tried using the laptop for 2 weeks now and only 2 times the WiFI automatically came up.
There is a switch to pull after turning on WiFI radio, which will display the list of WiFi networks in a window, that Switch is not responding now.
My Inspiron 1750 runs Window 7 with Dell wireless 1397 WLAN mini card installed. It suddenly now cannot get internet nor network connection. The troubleshooting says WIRELESS CAPABILITY TURNED OFF. How can I turn it on and keep it always on?

My problem is I cannot re-connect to it without having to do a total restart. I go to the place to refresh the list, and it finds nothing. I ask it to repair the network, and it can't becasue it cannot find a network. I have at least 4 other networks in the area that I can normally see, and none appear when I hit the refresh button. But I totally restart the system, and everything works fine again (until it drops again).

Two days ago I had an Internet connection but I had to switch it so it would automatically find an ip address.
