Alfa Awuso36h - Hp Tx2000 Laptop Won't Connect To Wireless Internet Through Adapter?
Oct 6, 2011ok here it goes. I have a hp tx2000 laptop using vista with a alfa awuso36h usb adapter to connect to the internet. Ok heres the problem i was using this setup to connect to my neighbores wireless internet with no problems for about 2 weeks(yes they know and are fine with me using it). But within the past week (actually all of a sudden it wont work) my program that came with the adapter shows alot of networks with full signals but when i connect to any of them it shows connected but wont actually bring up the internet. When i click on i.e. It says i.e. Cannot display the webpage. And if it actually does take me to google it will disconnect for no reason and reconnect to a random network thats available. my neighbors connection i was using just all of a sudden quit working and if i try to connect to it , it says cannot connect to frontier87. Also the other networks that show up sometimes will say the settings saved on this computer for this network dont match the requirements of the network, but sometimes the same network will connect but wont actually bring up the internet. I guess i just want to know what has changed to make me not be able to use a network that worked fine for me last week.

Sep 22, 2012i have a Samsung RV520 lap top Intl core 3 OS windows 7 and it has recently Crashed. i re installed the OS then win it was back up the wireless Ethernet "WiFi" was not installed on the system tried to install it with the default drivers. The Drivers did not work. the software on the computer i am looking for is the Intel centrino wireless-N + WIMAX 6150. Jan 11, 2011Recently my desktop has experienced very slow download speeds (~0.11 Mbps), however the upload speed appears to be in line (~2.0Mbps). These numbers are taken from Comcast's speed test (my ISP). It is obviously a problem with my PC because everything else on the network (PS3, Laptop) have great signals with no problems. I just recently reverted the Desktop back to its factory state, and everything was working fine for a couple of months. The desktop in question uses Vista 32-bit and the Belkin Basic USB Wireless Adapter.

I have tested the connection itself and it's not a problem on my ISP's end or the connection itself, but seems to be caused by hardware/software errors originating from the computer. It almost appears as if the connection is being capped or the like, because the signal is very strong when I connect to the internet at first, then after a few moments drops (consistently every time I try reconnecting) to an unacceptably low signal level.
