My Downloads Getting Corrupted

Very recently whenever I download a file which is in a package e.g. a rar file or an iso it always seems to be corrupt. For example I downloaded the windows 8 consumer preview multiple times and each time was corrupt. Now I know it isn't anything to do with my computer as I have this problem on all devices connected to my internet including my ps3, every game I download is corrupt and I cannot install it. I've tried all the obvious things like turning the router on and off and plugging the device directly into the router via ethernet

half of my laptop driver are corrupted (network, USB, and sound). I had installed a program called 'motion joy' and play with the software... right after i reboot my laptop, the sound icon and the network icon on the system tray are crossed out. I can see yellow exclamation mark on the drivers icons on device manager.
I made an attempt to roll back those corrupted drivers but nothing happen. Even when i try to update it, it says i had the latest driver. ;( I tried to uninstall the driver but the those driver files at 'system32/driver' are still there. I even tried to run driver CD that comes along with my laptop, and when I run the installer, it states that all the drivers are install.
so bascially now my laptop boot, run program BUT can't access internet , all USB ports are unavailable,and no sound at all.

I have an Averatec 1550H laptop. The wireless card driver was corrupted so I replaced with a driver from Trigem. The name of the device is an Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter. I can get as far as a message saying a cable is unplugged.

I noticed my tumblr dashboard was loading corrupted thumbnails. I first thought that tumblr was having problems, until it started happening on my deviantArt, and YouTube. I was worried that it was my computer, but then the same thing started happening on my moms' Macbook, and then her Wi-Fi streaming television started corrupting the video. And then, sometimes a website won't load fully, but will instead load part of it's code, or instead my browser (I've tried on Google Chrome, Firefox and IE) tells me the webpage is unavailable, or doesn't exist. It'll load up semi-properly (with the corrupted images still) after a refresh or two, but it's tiring and worrisome.

Newly acquired DIR-615 E3 with F/W vers. 5.10. Router configured with IPv4 static address for WAN works fine. As soon as I configure the WAN IPv6 with a static IP address also, the configuration for the IPv4 static IP is corrupted. Other combinations of (WAN config) using static for either IPv4 or IPv6 with DHCP or other seem to work. Just appears to have conflict with two WAN static IP configurations.

Took my ages to find that I need to post in the 300Mbps Wireless Routers forum to get support with the TL-WR841N. All the little subgroups are a little over-engineered to say the least.
I'm keen to improve the performance of this router. It needs rebooting and Apple based clients need to reconnect all the time.

I want to upgrade IOS on 1811 from 12.4(11)T3 to 12.4(15)T16.
As a standard CF size in the 1811 is 32 M, so I have to free some space.
Here the strange things starts.
dir issued on the router shows thet ther is no image on the flash!

The other strange thing is that some space is allocated for something!
(flash size) 3194060 - 12771328 (free) = 19169280 (space allocated to ???)
Just now router is running IOS c181x-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.T3.bin The size of this IOS is 19 155 816, that is approximately equal to the size that allocated to something invisible.
fsck flash and format flash doesn't work. Bug Toolkit doesn't show any bugs similar to my issue.

I'm finished with formatting my computer to install a clean Windows 7 Ultimate. Then, I connect my PC to the modem I have, to browse the Internet of course. Well, everything runs fine on the first start, let's say I have installed Google Chrome, Microsoft Office, and some other software I still not installed it. And when I restart it and tried to run Google Chrome for example, it said "Google Chrome has stopped working", it's happened to almost every software in my PC, let's say I tried to install VirtualDJ, then the Installer is corrupted, so was the Google Chrome installer and Microsoft Office Installer. Before they are all corrupted, there was a suspicious thing named 'winblmguf.exe' trying to access the Internet through my firewall.

I just purchased two DCS-930L cameras. They are both installed and running fine over wireless. I can view them via a web browser, however, I cannot get D-ViewCam to work. I installed the latest version (3.1.1). As soon as I launch the Main Console it crashes and I get the "Missing or Corrupted Files error code 268435457". I saw the other post in terms of change the display settings on my PC to 1280X768, however, that does not work. I also have User Account Control (UAC) turned off.

I am trying to recover a corrupted ios, from rommon after configure all steps of IP_ADDRESS, TFTP_SERVER and so on, copy files correctly, but after it need router 5 minutes to erase flash, or something else....after it i can not boot from ios loaded as i show below:

In fact i receive traffic on a one client per vlan basis (traffic is PPPoE), i receive all this traffic on a router, collecting all these vlan on a bridge where the pppoe packets are treated.When I use a transeiver to convert operator fiber arrival to my router copper media interface, i have no problem....
When I use dot1q-tunnel to make the same on my 3750, packets seems to be corrupted.I get PPPoE timeouts and packet loss, not regulary, totally stochastic...
I made dozen of tests and different settings, without success I first thougt of MTU issues. [code] I made tests with system MTU and/or system jumbo MTU above 1500, without success.I didn't found any known caveats on 3750 running Version 12.2(25r)SEE4 related to dot1q-tunnel.

I have a RV220W running 1.0.1.0. When trying to upgrade to 1.0.4.17 I receive an error: "Upgrade failed due to invalid/corrupted firmware".

I assume I have to do a factory reset then an upgrade in order to upgrade properly.
If I do a backup running 1.0.1.0, then upgrade to 1.0.4.17, then do a restore, would that put me back to 1.0.1.0? I'm trying to avoid configuring the router manually all over again.

I can view numerous other PDF files from other websites, and even PDF files from TP-LINK, but, the User Guide for the TL-WDR3600 or the 3500 error out when opening in a web browser. If I right click and download them, they will download but then error out on opening.

I have a Gaming Computer, with a 2x2TB RAID-1 setup, which I use to store .iso files ripped off my game's / movie's disks..Most of the time I'm on my laptop, I have set up a Network Drive to this RAID-1 setup, but when I try to transfer files from the Gaming Computer to my laptop via a network connection, either by wireless G, Ethernet 100mbps, or Ethernet 1gbps, my files get corrupted, this usually happens to larger files e.g over 1GB..But when I transfer the same files to my external hard-drive the files work properly....My computers is networked by a TP-Link 340G....

We are having bandwidth issue every now then in our corporate network and apparently it is due to some people are downloading music, videos etc.is there any way only download can be blocked?don't have any firewall in place to control that though. I used to get speeds that exceeded 2 mb/s and now when i download steam games it fluctuates from 0 kb/s to 2.1 mb/s in an oscillating pattern. What is wrong with my internet? games that should take less than an hour to install now take 3.

i recently done a clean install of windows xp on this laptop after having vista on there for a couple of years and ever since doing this the download speeds have seemed so much slower im not sure weather its got to do with the OS or weather its just the internet has been slow since ive installed it. I recently switched providers and now i'm down to a 1.5 MBPS download speed (advertised at 3 MBPS but our area is only serviced for half that) so I'm trying to find something that will smooth out the capabilities of my PC's with streaming videos and such for my nephew on sites like disney.com and other sites. I can post specs later if you guys need em but one PC which I know its issue, it is around 10 years old so I'm not expecting great performance. The knew one though is only a year old with 1GB DDR2 Ram and windows XP Home. The older one has 512MB Ram....I think its SD with windows XP pro. Again I can post full stats later if needed but not really trying to trouble shoot. More looking to boost. We run 2 computers and a Wii off our wireless modem. I'm curious if somehow the computers could be configured to operate on seperate...ports I guess to minimize the lag on the modem. We are noticing that if one computer is downloading something it cause the second computer to lag or makes streaming anything all but impossible.

I ran a speed test with my new DIR-655 connected to my PS3 and my download is 768kbps and my upload is 1.5mbps. However, my internet connection is 50mbps and 2mbps upload on my computer connected via LAN. While I understand SOME decrease, that's slower than the previous Wireless G router that I had.
I've reset the router twice and it's currently set to the factory defaults. I've even tried setting a static ip address for the PS3 and put it into DMZ mode. However, I'm still getting the slow speeds.
Also, my iPhone 4 is getting about 14mbps download and 2mbps upload. Is that expected?

I have two computers, both of them running Windows 7. One of them has been experiencing an odd problem for about six months now, and now that school is out I have time to mess with it. When I try to do certain things, the download speed periodically drops to zero. Specifically, I've noticed it when using Firefox and Steam, but also for IE and a few other browsers I installed for the sake of testing. I know I'm not *losing* connectivity, because everything that isn't specifically downloading a file works fine. Skype calls work fine, Utorrent streams at a steady rate, but for some reason Steam and Firefox have speed graphs that look like the heart rate monitor of someone with a very weak pulse. It starts off strong, a nice solid 1 MB per second, and then after 10-30 seconds it'll slowly decline to 0, and sit there for anywhere from 10 seconds to half an hour before picking up to full speed again. I've tried reinstalling drivers, I've tried buying a new network card, I've tried running antivirus scans, and I've tried uninstalling my antiviruses. The only thing that works for sure is putting it into safe mode. In safe mode, the downloads proceed smoothly. I tried making a list of everything that ran in safe mode, and then rebooted into normal mode and closed each nonessential process and service, but that didn't work either.

I have an odd problem where http downloads will stop after a few seconds. I can stream video, do anything else with the internet perfectly. It's just when downloading files from websites will this happen.I use a wired connection. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and IE10, and this problem happens in all of them. I use a WRT54GS router. I have tried downloading files in Ubuntu 12.10, Windows 7 using wireless, and WinXP, and they all can download files perfectly. Only Windows 8 seems to have this problem. Another thing is that my Windows 8 is a fresh install.I have also tried disabling Windows Firewall to no avail.

First, I'm running Windows7 64 bit. So whenever I download a decently sized file; my download will start and get good speed for a few minutes, then it will drop off and stop and my connection to the internet will be lost for a short time while the connection resets. This happens if I'm using a program like Steam to download a game, torrenting something, sometimes on my Xbox 360 when it needs to update itself or a game, occasionally on a large app or album off of iTunes or patching an online game. However, I have no issue watching YouTube videos or playing an online game while also having TeamSpeak running in the backround to chat. I don't lose connection when browsing the internet at all and recently I was able to stream a live event without issue but I only tried that once (I don't have Netflix or anything similar).It usally isn't a big issue because my download will pick up where it left off most of the time but its a pain in the butt to have to add on an extra hour to a download sometimes for this.
