Servers :: Internet Explorer Will Not Let To Open A Web?
Apr 21, 2011I have always been using internet explorer and have never had any trouble opening up web sites. However this week trouble has started when using a stock trading site. When I open up the "Home Page" of IG Index this opens in full no problem. But when I then click on the tab to open up the trading section section this opens but not fully. The tool bar across the top but the main body of the page, the frame, is blank. I have tried internet options, deleting history etc and disc clean up but to no avail. Have also tried system restore but no good. Have soken ti IG Index and they suggest changing from Internet Explorer to Firefox as my browser. I dont really want to do this as I am not a computer buff and I can see all sorts of complications arising if I change to Fire Fox

Feb 21, 2011i have 3g mobile dvr, put a sim card directly into it and it gets an ip address and you should be able to view it remotely but i cannot connect. i can ping the ip no problem and i checked that the port the dvr uses (9000) was also open on that ip and i used a locator to trace the ip and it pinpoints the ip to my isp's base so why i cannot connect to it

Jun 1, 2012I have a wireless network (cable modem and router) set up in my home, which all of my devices are able to connect to the internet just fine, all but two; one is a netbook and the other is a desktop. The netbook has a wireless card built in, and the desktop has usb wireless card. Both of devices are running xp (both are the only compters in my home ran on xp), and these are the only two devices that will not connect to the internet wirelessly, except for when the wireless is unsecure these two devices connect fine, but once I enable a password these two devices say connected with an excellent signal strength, but once I open up the brower no web page comes up (just a message saying server not found). These two computers are able to install automatic program updates from over the internet, but still no web page will come up.

All my network has only one address, for example 192.168.10.0/24 if I connect two nexus 7010 in VPC and Domain, each nexus is going to has 2 modules with 48 port 10/100/1000 rj45 and i wan to connect servers directly to each nexus, with this figure i'm going to have a group of servers connected in two different nexus, Do they can have the same network 192.168.10.0/24 considering that the nexus are in the same vdc and vlan and have only one gateway for both groups? If the answer is positive, which nexus would be the gate way for that address, the primary or secondary? Or i must have a different address for both group of servers, i mean for example 192.168.10.0/24 and 192.168.12.0/24?thus each nexus would be the gateway for that new address?
To have two nexus connected by VPC in a Domain mean that one computer connected to one nexus can share the same address or vlan with other computer connected to the other nexus????
Cisco Switching/Routing :: 2224TP / Servers With Dual NICs Connected To Separate FEXs
Mar 26, 2012Our current topology is a single N7K with two 48port 10Gb F2 linecards and FEX 2224TP in the server racks. In a few of the racks that house important servers, we have placed dual FEX 2224's. Each FEX has 2 10Gb links back to the N7k (each link on a separate LC). I've tried to create a port-channel for the important servers in such a way that each NIC on the server is connected to a separate FEX - but its failing (simple drawing attached). I've read multiple posts saying this is possible, and others that say its not. I've also submitted a TAC case and have been told it's impossible to port-channel interfaces on separate FEXs connected to a single N7k - but I find this an impossible limitation and want to verify it's actually right. Is this really a limitation?

Jan 21, 2012I brought a friend's computer home, thinking I could solve her problem but I'm at my wit's end. I cannot open Internet Explorer and Internet Options does not open from Control Panel. I followed other suggestions I found on your forum and on the net but nothing works. I cannot access the internet in any way (on that computer) and therefore cannot even supply you with a HiJack file. I tried several restore points and the only malware pgm on that computer is MalmareBytes (which found nothing). I cannot even run a anti-virus scan because that is no longer running - which is the reason I brougth her computer to my house in the first place. After several attempts of trying to open IE some times it stays open for a few seconds but most times it just flashes, then closes.

Jan 12, 2013I just signed up for Time Warner - Road Runner internet service. I am currently hardwired via ethernet to the new cable modem (arris cm820) while I wait for my wireless router to arrive.The internet appears to be working fine (good speed), however, it stalls without fail every 3 minutes. It will freeze and no pages will open (FYI, it does not open a "you are not connected to the internet" page, it simply just sits there trying to load any and all pages). After about 5 minutes, the pages will suddenly load and the internet will work fine for another 3 minutes. Then, it will freeze all over again. Rinse and repeat. When this happens, the modem shows no physical signs of disconnection (all lights are on as normal) and network diagnostics on the mac shows that that the ethernet is still connected as well.I tried calling Time Warner and all they could say is that it "looks fine from our end, watch it for 24 hours and call back." So basically they knew nothing.

Private Servers Segment: 192.168.4.0/24 (there is no DHCP all servers' IPs are statically configured)
DMZ Segment: 192.168.3.0/24 (This is a future deployment)
LAN Segment: 172.17.0.0/16
Both, Private Servers and DMZ Servers are in a collocation as well as the ASA5520. There are multiple Branch offices that uses subnets within the 172.17.0.0/16 Network and they are connected to the ASA5520 via Metro-E.
I do not know if this is possible but what I want to do is this:
In order to avoid the change of internal DNS records I want to mask the DMZ servers with a Private Server IP when a Private server or LAN host wants to access it like this:
The FTP server in the DMZ has the IP address: 192.168.3.100. But when a PC from the LAN wants to reach the FTP server it should points to its old IP: 192.168.4.100. This way the PC sends a packet to the ftp.corporate.net (192.168.4.100) the ASA recieves the packet and translate it to the (192.168.3.100) and send it out through the DMZ Interface.
Also if the Private Servers wants to reach the same FTP the ASA will act like a proxy-ARP and send the paquet to the DMZ by means of the translation of the IP.

Mar 23, 2011I am trying to open up certain ports to host multiplayer games on the internet on my computer and on Xbox 360.The only internet service provider is primecast. I am able to open the ports on my router but the ports still show closed using portforward.com portchecker. I disabled all firewalls and Anti-Virus, no luck. I even connected my computer directly to the modem, the ports are still closed. The Router is a Linksys WRT400N set to single band. The modem is an Alcatel although there is no model number (it has a fiber optic connection, coax connection and 2 ethernet port connections). The condo is cat 5 ready so the router has multiple ethernet cables which go to the ethernet wall plugs throughout the apartment which is how I connect to my desktop.
FYI:One of the games I am trying to play online IL2 1946, people simply cannot connect.In another game Company of Heroes, people cannot connect and I cannot connect to most games it says there is a NAT issue when connecting.
PS When I go into ipconfig I now see IPv4 and IPv6, I don't know if that has something to do with it but to my knowledge these sections were not here previously (before I moved).
