how to get a graph of the router statistics like upload and download speeds - both total and per device? Something like MRTG. The closest I came to getting data from the router was with RouterStats-Lite, but I was unable to get it to work.

not getting advertised 150Mbps speed , only getting 72Mbps installed the latest firmware TL-WR740N_V4_130104 and the performance is so bad that i cant even use skype anymore , the main reason to buy this router was to move from 54Mbps to 150Mbps but not sure what is wrong , how to achieve that 150Mbps speed

My network is like this: ISP TalkTalk---ADSL modem-----TP-LINK TL-WR740N---Windows XP computer. I have configured the device by running the CD but it says failed to verify.Then I tried to refers to Quick Installation Guide (Manual) , there have offer a address 192.168.1.1 to go to web based quick setup wizard. But this site is not available.Other Wi-Fi devices are catching its signals even they are getting connected to it after enter the set up password and username but internet access has not been made so far.

I have a problem with my tp-link router. I dont have an internet access of the router, updated firmware... When i connect to router by laptop the internet works fine, but when i connect to router by phone i have an internet access only 5 second and than i lost it, but still connected. I don't know what is the problem here, maybe phone?

I have a BSNL BB connection. When I use the connection directly, without adding TP Link router, all the websites open flawlessly. Once when I connect the wireless router, certain websites for example Yahoomail, pepperfry.com, yepme.com don't open at all. These are just examples, but I'm unable to access many sites which is a bit annoying. But sites such as gmail, youtube, facebook open clean, there are no issues. I didn't make any configuration changes too. I tried it more than three or four times, but there is a restricted access only.

I am using TP-Link TL-WR740N as mentioned.Now I have a problem. In side my LAN I have four different PCs listening as Telnet Server at port 23. I want to create a telnet session over Internet with one of my PCs at a time.How should I do this? I am having troubles configuring TL-WR740N. After I connect everything and turned in on, the system Light is ON and the power light is also ON and nothing else. I Connected my laptop to the 1 of 4 LAN ports and the WAN to my modem.

i m experiencing wireless disconnects every 5 or 10 minutes and all i have to do is too disconnect from the router in windows from Wireless connections panel , and reconnect and it ggets fixed for some time again . i got so frustrated that i changed to openwrt , the disconnection problem is gone but not getting the 150Mbps.

I have recently purchased a new desktop computer that does not have an internal WiFi card. To remedy this I bought the TP Link TL-WR702N. Currently my access to the internet is provided by a mobile WiFi router (one of these: { URL}, that spreads a wireless signal throughout my house for things like my phone and laptop to connect to. I was under the impression that the WR702N would be able to connect to this network and let my new computer run on it (I believe it's called client mode?)
Now so far I have not been able to get my computer to recognize the existence of the TP Link modem, despite both Ethernet and USB cables being plugged into the computer. I think I need both logging in and changing the mode from AP to client mode.
I emailed support and was given the instruction to read this FAQ [URL], however, when following those instructions, after clicking on "Change adapter settings" instead of reading the router, all I get is a blank screen.

I bought today new TP-Link TL-WR740N and I connected it with my cable modem as it is in manual instructed. There is problem with outgoing signal from router. It is about 1/10 from it should be (it is around 2Mbps from 20 Mbps). Same speeds are going out from router through LAN port and WiFI signal.

Even before I did the latest firmware flash I couldn't select short GI under Advanced Wireless - it was simply greyed out even though WMM was enabled above it. Now after a factory reset and recreating all my settings I still can't select it.

I'm using this router for connecting 2 PCs, one lap top and few mobiles.The LAN network is always stable and never loses connection, but I'm having problems with the wireless connection. My lap top runs on wireless, and 3 Android mobiles, an xperia mini pro (problematic), xperia Tipo and Alcatel OT-908F. Almost always when I login to facebook on any of the mobiles, pictures won't show, and also youtube videos thumbnails won't show. On the xperia mini pro after 2-3 minutes of surfing, or doing anything else the connection drops, and then the mobiles can't see the wireless connection. My lap top can see it, but it cannot connect. After restarting the router everything is back to normal.

I am using tp link router for accessing internet in my laptop and mobile. everything is opening in my laptop but i had few problems when using internet in mobile. im using android mobile. when using play store the images and screen shots of applications are not loading but im able to download. tried to run the easy setup assistant but failed the connection test. The WLAN indicator did not flash or light up, don't know if that is the problem.

I bought some days ago Tp-Link Wireless Router (Model TL-WR740N - 150 Mbps - Ver 4.23) but I couldn't install it: when I do Easy Setup Assistant, the network status test always fails because of absence of connectivity. I can see that there are some problems by the lights of the router: the WLAN light switches on, as the WAN light and the LAN light, instead of being flashed. I tried to do the installation without cd but, clicking on 192.168.1.1, I didn't find the page to access to web console but the Telecom page of the status of my connexion (nb: it reports that ethernet is unplugged).

I'm having issues with PPPoE connection. On a daily level, my connection breaks 1-5 times. In the past, it was related to signal problems, but ISP Tech. team fixed this some 10 days ago. Now, whenever I call them they say connection was broken on user request and ask me if I'm running services like torrents.
I don't run torrents and all I have is standard windows update services, nod 32, as well as steam client.

I've configured the router using the Easy Setup Assistant CD provided and have a wifi connection between the router provided however when using network diagnostics, while the wifi connection is fine, I am getting "failed to connect to Internet" and "failed to connect to server" messages. I have been using this router for around 8 to 9 months now. Everything was working fine till one week back. Now I am facing problem with my office emails. I cannot get my office emails while on WiFi network. Outlook is not able to connect to my office server and I don't receive my emails. Rest everything works fine. Initially i used to get all the emails while using this WiFi router. When I connect my internet cable directly to my laptop, i am able to receive all the emails in my office outlook inbox.
I am also using my Samsung Galaxy S3 on this WiFi network. And my office outlook is configured in it. I am facing the same problem with my phone as well, it started recently, around one week back, as already informed above.However, when i switch on my mobile internet, all the new emails start coming to my inbox, which means that there is some problem with WiFi network.
What I am supposed to do which will enable me to receive all the office emails while on this routers WiFi network. Its giving me a hard time.
