My laptop's wifi is just working fine with TP Link but I'm unable to connect internet via wifi on my iPhone 3G. My iPhone's wifi just works fine in my office. Is there any solution available?

I had PCs, Macs and other devices (iphone, itouch) able to connect fine to the WRT610n. I moved to an apartment and when I turned the network on all the devices could connect expect for the iphone and itouch. I have tried turning the wireless security off and MAC filtering off . I get the same "Unable to join the network" message.

When we come back in range, our iPhone's intermittently give the error "Unable to join network.". And we're stuck in that mode. When I check the Devices menu in the CCC interface, I notice the iPhone device is configured and still online. However the "x" box to delete the device is greyed out because it's online. So how do I get out of this state and have my iPhone connect

I will soon be moving to somewhere without DSL service. I was wondering if it is possible to connect my iphone 4 to the usb of the mr3220 and use the iphone's 3g data allowence?

I reset my Dlink 615 wireless router. I held down the power and reset for 30 seconds and rebooting the system with the disc. I did change the router name, but believe everything else stayed the same. My desk top is working fine being "hardwired" but nothing wireless will connect.
I did see this time it installed Network Magic which I have since uninstalled and again rebooted the computer system and still cannot get the wireless to work. It shows the network available, but my password for some reason does not take.

I am unable to connect my TP-Link TL-MR3220 router with BSNL EVDO ZTE AC8700 modem. Even though my router has the latest firmware version 3.14.2 Build 120822 Rel.57775n, which is the boxed firmware i got with my router. All the time my modem gets Identified by the router, then it shows connecting phase......and restarts the modem.........Repeats the same step every time I try to connect.

Problem is still the same even after i reset the router a couple of times pass 30seconds, set the security to No Password.if i connect the router with a cable it connects seamlessly and allows me to go online.

I didnt worry about it until I got an Iphone and now .I was able to re-establish the wireless connection on my netbook today after a ton of research and messing around with the settings and then downloaded network magic, which finally fixed the problem. I believe that it automatically transmitted the WEP key to the Netbook, which is what I am missing when I try to log into the network on the Iphone.How do I get this password to show up on Network Magic? When I look at the settings, it does not show the actual numbers, they are hidden.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently tried resetting my router (dlink dir-655). I am able to connect using my iphone and my mbp if I did not make use of a secure connection. I tried putting a password on a new ssid. My ipad 2 and 2 other windows laptops are able to connect without any problem. My iphone 4s was having a hard time connecting to the new ssid. It does not connect automatically just in case I turn on and off my wifi connection for the iphone. I have to type in the wpa password whenever I had to go online again. FYI, I tried resetting my iphone several times and I still get the same response. As for my mac, it was far more much worse. Whenever I tried to connect to my router. It usually says connection time out. I tried resetting the router one more time again. I had to put in the old ssid and the old wpa password. My Iphone 4s was abe to connect automatically. My mbp did the same thing also.

I just bought the TP Link MR 3020 and tried connecting my Tata Photon Whiz USB (Huawei EC121) modem with it. The TP Link cannot identify the modem. It goes forever into identifying mode. I next tried a Huawei E173 with Reliance 3g sim in it but again no results. The TP Link goes into identifying mode forever. my MR 3220 cannot manage tp-link Ma180 modem. At start-up it tryes to identify the modem but after a while the status of the modem shows "Unplugged"
I already updated Router Firmware version. Firmware Version: 3.14.2 Build 120822 Rel.57775n Hardware Version: MR3220 v2 00000000 Signal strengts is weak but enough to access Internet when Ma180 is connect to my PC.

I travel and connect this device in the hotels. On this occasion, the hotel wired connection is limited to one device with username/password entered through the web page. Is there a way to share this connection using one of the modes to multiple devices (the devices will run in a different subnet than the hotel network). I understand I can do this in WISP mode but only for sharing hotel wireless connection. The hotel wifi has poor reception, hence I want to use wired. Is there a way to do this? I would imagine this would be not an unusual scenario in many top hotels. Mid hotels generally do not have such limitations.

I am connected to the internet via a non TP=Llink ADSL2 modem/router supplied by my ISP.I was using my TL-MR3220 as a 3G modem but no longer need it for that purpose. I was wondering whether I can now use my TL-MR3220 for two other purposes: as an additional wireless access point and as a means of linking equipment (i.e. printers) to the home network . i have tried connecting the ADSL2 modem/router to the TL-MR3220 via an ethernet cable (one of the 4 LAN ports on the ADSL modem/router to the blue WAN port on the TL-MR3220) but I can get no internet connection through the TL-MR3220.Is this normal i.e. something that the TL-MR3220 is not designed to do, or am I just using the wrong settings ? I have tried a whole range of different settings but none seem to work.

I'm using the TL-MR3220 hardware version 2.0. Firmware version 3.13.12 Build 120703 Rel.58323n. I'm using D-Link DWM-156 3.75G HSUPA USB Adapter.The problem I'm encountering is the router does not auto detect the 3G USB adapter when I power up the router. The router will detect the 3G adapter only when I plug out and plug in the 3G USB adapter. I used to have the same router but version 1.2. Version 1.2 does not have this problem.

i have installed TL-MR3220 after my livebox (orange french box), my MR3220 is configurer on the DMZ zone in the livebox, internet is ok on the pc but when adsl signal is down on the livebox, the MR3220 don't switch to 3G connexion. The wan led is alway on in the router. But if i unplug the wn cable, the router switch on the 3G connexion. If i plug the wan cable the router kill 3G and use wan connexion.
How can i config my WAN config on the router for automatic switch by the router. Actually, the WAN config is fixed address (DMZ address in the livebox) Whis PPPOE id, the router can't connect. The livebox modem can't work on briddge.
