i have 3 home computers using the same wireless router. 2 of them have no problems detecting and accessing internet. one computer can access at times, but many times cannot detect network. i have tried restarting my modem, the router, my computer etc. at times, it works, at times it doesn't. at times, it is ok, at other times it is not.
I have Qwest router on 192.168.0.1 but my linksys router is hardwired to that router to provide a stronger signal throughout the house. I can't get to the 192.168.1.1 page through the internet. I need to configue the linksys router. Specifically to forward some ports to/for the XBox360 or at least make sure Upnp is enabled.
My boss is asking me to write a batch file or use a utility to monitor the uptime of 16 different ISP accounts that we use across several stores. Most stores have several ISP accounts setup as failover, so they're not always active on our network but the ISP should still be up. He would like this to run from one of our servers. He is suggesting the 'gateway' for the ISP however I am not sure how to find this IP. The tracert utility returns IP addresses which are different than the gateway address in our router settings so I am wary to use those IPs.Which IPs would I ping to monitor the uptime and where would be the best place to find them?
I have just upgraded my AIM and Skype messengers and now it won't let me sign in. I did before with my old versions. It is saying that my internet connection is bad which it is not. I have looked up ports in my Yahoo messengers, Control Panel and Bit Torrent still nothing.
I have a kindle which was successfully connected to my router at Christmas 2010 unfortunatley some thing went wrong ?? have tried using the long serial number which i assume is the password on router . Although we have a moderately wired house with cat6 cables runs in many of the rooms that all end in the basement, I am currently having trouble since I cat stream audio and video files from my desktop in the den to the netbook and receiver in the family room. All computers are hooked up by cable.I have tried a friends advice to plug in the exact IP address of the desktop (and vice versa on the netbook) but still the netbook cat find the desktop nor can the desktop find the netbook. I have tried home sharing in Windows 7 to no avail as I have been prompted to initiate a home network both on the netbook and the desktop when I think it is suppose to be initiated on one machine and same home network joined by the other.DSL Modem --> Linksys WRTGL router running Tomato --> switch -->various rooms (cont.)Family room (one of the various rooms) has a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH AirStation (with one USB port) --> 1) netbook and 2) Denon AVR receiver (with network capabilities)I have a switch in the den and the desktop and laptop computers can read off each other through folder/drive sharing even with Kaspersky Internet Security running in the background so I'm sure it's not Kaspersky meddling with my network sharing. If both are on the wireless network, the netbook can access the desktop and vice versa. Is it possible for the netbook to read off the desktop based on my current set up? I can't bring the desktop down as we use them in the den and will not have room for it in the family room. I am not inclined to purchase a stand-alone HTPC at the moment if there is a network sharing

is this network able to handle wifi 200 clients?Load balancing QNO FQR7110[URL]Access point: TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Range Extender (TL-WA830RE)[URL].My client is all students... and all of them will connect to the internet by using Wireless connection. So i estimate 12APs for them.. each access point will have around 17 clients...and the 6 APs will be connect to 1 HP 1910 Switch Series 8 ports switch...*Note: the switch is Smart managed switch, but im not going to setup it.. i will just plug and play..May i know it is suitable to use that model of device to setup the network with 200 clients? The load balancer and switch it is enough Processor and RAM?
I've got a PC(windows 7) connected to a wired router(not wifi), and I also have a laptop that shares the internet with the PC using wifi. A wired printer is connected to the PC. Is it possible for me to share files and print using laptop? (Wifi Connected to a Wired Internet connection)
Dell dimension 2400 XP home. Connects fine to old linksys g router. With new qwest dsl modem/router get IRQL not less than or equal as soon as I click on connect .Blue screen stop and must reboot.Qwest router works fine with my lenovo lap top. Win 7.
* WiFi router (Netgear WPN824v2) connected to ADSL modem
* CPU, iPhone and iPad connected to router, CPU wired connection.Everything has worked like a charm up until a couple of days ago. Now the link between the router WAN port and the modem randomly drops. Stays dropped for 1-3 secs and then connect again. When its really bad this happens with 5-10 secs intervall. This made it impossible to use the network from any of the devices. If I disconnect the CPU from the router and connect it direcly to the modem and change the IP settings to match the modem network the CPU connects without errors to the internet, iPad and iPhone connected to the router keeps having problems.Restarting the router does not change anything and it seems to be more frequent errors during heavy load hours, in the morning I have almost no problems at all, in the evenings I cant almost use the wireless devices (CPU works fine as its now connected directly to the modem not through the router).I havent changed a setting in the last year, it just came right out of the blue.I have hard reset both the modem and the router and reconfigured them (that I dont want to do again as I have some virtual servers, port forwards, port triggers and so on :P).As it came right out of the blue without me changing anything on any device and as it seems to be more frequent during heavy load hours I'm suspecting that the ISP is involved, but how can they be (it works fine with devices connected straight to the modem)?
I cannot get my new Nook Tablet to connect to my home wifi. it recognizes the network and authenticates the password but won't connect. Everything else in the house connects fine.Someone installed the router for me a couple years ago as a favour. It is a Linksys router.
Router is Airport. Interference to all am radios (in both cars, transister radio, and plugged in clock radios) within 10 m radius of our house. Have had router for two years, but problem started suddenly last Sunday morning. Figured it was the router by turning it off (no interference) then on again (interference returned).
