How to access the memory on the wism to delete the old boot image?
I'm looking at adding a Cisco 3750-X switch running c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE1 (IP base license) into a stack of 3750-G switches running c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE1.bin Given that the version and feature sets are the same I don't forsee any compatibility issues. Would there be any reason why a universal image wouldn't stack correctly with other switches running the single .bin file?

I want to delete the first file c2600-i-mz.122-5d in the flash. Not only delete but also reclaim the memory held by deleted file.I followed a link and i ended up with the c2600-i-mz.122-5d marked as deleted in the flash but the memory was not reclaimed.When I restarted the router, it went to ROMMON mode. This is my understanding when router tried to boot from the flash, It tried to load the first file in the flash. Since the file was marked as deleted therefore Router went to ROMMON mode.Now my question is how could I delete the first file and reclaim the memory on 2600 router?

If you do a show vlan it still shows all the vlan text. I have tried the Switch#>delete vlan.dat, doesn't work. Tried Switch#>delete nvram:vlan.dat, doesn't work. Tried Switch#>erase startup-config, doesn't work. How can I get rid of the vlan's?

I have a problem with an etherchannel between a cisco 2950 and a couple of catalyst 4506. The cisco 2950 is connect via an etherchannel to the catalyst 4506A. The channel consist of two port on both side and is in trunk mode, encapsulation dot1q.Now i have the necessity to connect the 2950 to the other catalyst, 4506B. So, i copy the same configuration on the 4506B, but when I unplug the two rj45 cables from the catalyst 4506A to plug them in the 4506B the etherchannel doesn't go up in any way.

Anny merit of using Cisco Nexus switches in this design and also what will be the benifit in doing so.
