May 7, 2011The Bluetooth device driver keeps on turning off / on on its own. I'm using a wireless internet connection with a netgear router and it used to work fine for months. Problem started a week ago. I have Windows Vista Home Premium with SP2. Below are the items listed under the network adapters of device manager when my internet connection is fine:
1) Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) - (status is disabled)
2) Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
3) Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
4) Cisco Systems VPN Adapter - (status is disabled)
5) Intel (R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
No signs of a conflict like a yellow exclamation mark or X.And here are the only ones listed when i lose connection:
1) Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
2) Cisco Systems VPN Adapter - (status is disabled)
3) Intel (R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
Here are the things I have done:
1) Reinstalled the network drivers downloaded from Dell specifically:Intel (R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller2) When the first 2 items are visible, i tried to check for updated drivers by right clicking on it and hitting Update Driver software but it gave me a message that its already updated.
3) Enabled items 1 and 4 to see if it will make a difference but not.
4) Tried the TCP/IP stack repair options by going into CMD running it as Admin and typing in the lines below: netsh winsock reset catalognetsh int ipv4 reset reset.lognetsh int ipv6 reset reset.logRestarted the machine but still got the same problem.
5) Already checked the switch from the side of the laptop and its ON.

Sep 14, 2012I just reinstalled my Inspiron 1720 and everything works fine but the Bluetooth Peripheral Device which keeps reinstalling after every reboot.
In device manager Bluetooth Radios, "Dell Truemobile 355 Bluetooth + EDR" and "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator" are installed properly but I have in "Other devices" a Bluetooth Peripheral Device which does not want to install.
I used Driver CD provided when I purchased my laptop but it does not find any drivers to solve the problem. I also went to dell.com drivers to fin the latest one and this neither does not work .

I have bought a new bluetooth headset, but my system couldn't recognize it while I am trying to add it using "Add a device" utility. I think bluetooth driver is missing in my system. I checked the drivers CD, but couldn't decide which one I should install because there are lot of BTS (bluetooth) drivers are listed.

Jun 11, 2012recently I bought a Dell Inspirion N5110 notebook. After I installed windows 7 X64, i have problems with bluetoth.
I installed all drivers from dell drivers home. In device manager my bluetooth card is installed but with an exclamation yellow sign. on driver properties I see a windows error 43 message. (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)).

May 17, 2012I have a DELL Inspiron, just 10 months old and ever since I have reinstalled the windows and I try to install the bluetooth drivers and wi fi drivers, during set up I am asked to press Fn + F3, it worked like before the reinstallation of the window, but now it is not working, the wifi or bluetooth does not get turned on, what to do now, how to cure it coz I really need the wifi service. Plus my laptop does not have a manual switch or button for wifi and bluetooth.

Dec 29, 2012 i have issue with my webcam and bluetooth i have installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on it after that i have installed all driver from cd in right order which came with laptop. i have installed dell webcam central it shows no supported webcam found. installing fresh copy of windows 7 installs webcam drivers itself.
and problem with bluetooth is when i active wireless from wireless switch a window pops up showing usb not recognized i think that is only the problem but why i have installed chipset drivers also.

Feb 20, 2012 I'm a new owner of a Dell laptop R15 N5110 with i5 sandy bridge/ 4Gb DDR3/ 750Gb / 15.6" /. the laptop came with free dos , so when i installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit i fond some drivers missing , the first thing i did i search the dell driver home page and i come up with some great result , all but one driver were successfully installed , the missing one is the WiFi driver .
Although 7 network drivers were in the dell driver home page but none of them works for me , the intel my technology utility says : so supported intel wireless network adapter was fond ....!! i tried so many solutions and again none of them works. this is what i got from this program (Sysinfo.exe) :

Aug 15, 2012I use a hardwired Ethernet adapter to connect to the internet from home. I cannot connect to the internet on the N5110 but can connect on my desktop PC. I look at the hardware device manager and cannot find an Ethernet adapter. This leads me to believe something happened to the card. It should show up in the hardware profile. I don't want to use a wireless connection. I want to use my hardwired Ethernet adapter.
How can get the system to recognize the device? I don't need to send it in for repair. There is some work I do that can only be done on this computer.

Of course I restarted the computer every time I installed a driver but the 'Unknown device' still remained url...noticed that if I turned of my wireless connection with the keyboard buttons: Fn + F2, then this Unknown device have been disappear. Sometimes I get messages prompting me to update driver. at other times driver appears to be installed and working perfectly
I use Dell support center and Dell download manager to keep up to date and don't usually have any problem but this bluetooth messaging has been going on for months now.
