View 3 Replies View RelatedI just did a fresh install of Windows 7 (x64) on Dell laptop- Dell Inspiron N5110 . I did not rebuild it from the factory restore disc as that failed to work. The installation is complete. I am trying To get my Wi-Fi to work by pressing FN+F2 however it is not working, the Bluetooth icon appears instead which doesn’t work either.I have tried to look for the wifi adapter in the device manager, but it does not exist in the list.I understand that I have to install the drivers. Will that do the trick? I also don’t know what the name of the wifi adapter is, so don’t know which driver to install.

Plus my laptop does not have a manual switch or button for wifi and bluetooth.

Network Controller -> yellow mark appear on it and i don't know how to use wireless . When I run the Intel My WiFi Utility it writes - No supported Intel Wireless network was found.
I am having difficulty connecting my Inspiron N5110 to WiFi (I managed to when I first bought it last week through a different network but when I bought it home it didn't work).
When I try and connect, it asks for the key, which I enter. It then searches and says it can't connect to the Network. The WiFi Network then becomes unavailable and loses signal with all Internet connected devices then taken offline. The network then reconnects but the laptop still doesn't connect to the WiFi. Is there a setting I need to change in the laptop to get it to connect?
I'm a new owner of a Dell laptop R15 N5110 with i5 sandy bridge/ 4Gb DDR3/ 750Gb / 15.6" /. the laptop came with free dos , so when i installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit i fond some drivers missing , the first thing i did i search the dell driver home page and i come up with some great result , all but one driver were successfully installed , the missing one is the WiFi driver .

I'm having an issue with the Bluetooth drivers on the E6520, basically I had all the drivers installed and device manager was reporting no issues, all of a sudden (a day later to be exact) I have three unknown bluetooth devices in Device manager and I can't install drivers for them. [code]
I have tried the following methods to install the drivers all have failed.Update through device manager and use Windows Update.Update via Device Manager and manually specify the drivers location
Tried using Dell client system update utility manually downloaded the Buletooth package from Dell, only to have it fail (I can't veiw the entire error, but I think its to do with me using 64bit) Unistalled & Reinstalled the entire bluetooth module.I had a similar issue with my E5410, but can't recall how I worked it out.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy pc is connected to the ethernet chord at home. I can go anywhere else and connect with a wireless connection but I can't in my own house. Every time I try I get an error the the network adapter isn't found. The trouble shooter can't even fix it. Everyone else in the house has no issues connecting with a wireless connection. The wireless connection has worked maybe twice for me since I purchased the laptop (May 2012). Since I am more comfortable at my desk it's no issue but there is a new printer that I can't connect to because I can't download the driver because I have to unplug my laptop to go in the other room to get to it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to reinstall Windows but upon reinstallation, I noticed that wireless does not connect. I tried pressing Fn +F2. Nothing. No LED light for wireless.
First I started the WLAN AutoConfig service under services.msc. After starting/enabling this service - nothing.
I searched the forum and found a post for Quickset. I followed the instructions given and restarted. When I press Fn+F2 the screen flashes the wifi symbol and my wifi LED comes on. However, when I go to connect to a wireless network - none can be found (I have connected to this network before and know that it works). I searched support and navigated to Manage Wireless Networks. I click on the Add button and get the following message:Windows cannot detect any wireless network interfaces.
ive read some of wat u said but my problem is that my wifi network goes well working then it goes to limited access when i try to fix it the screen freeze and i have to shut it down and then turn on....then it goes well working....idk wat is causing it to do so...sometime it does it every month or so and sometimes 5 times a day!

View 2 Replies View Relatedxps 410 running win 7 64bit cannot get usb bluetooth adapters to work. latest attempt is a micro innovations usb60bt that a Fry's salesman demonstrated in the store with an HP notebook. took it home and three drivers fail to install correctly:
bluetooth hands-free audio
bluetooth remote control
bluetooth L2cap interface.
None of these gave problems when the guy installed it (plugged it in) in fry's; it immediately was able to pair with my BB 8900. Since upgrading the XPS to win 7 have not been able to pair it to anything. Is the bleeping bios that is no longer supported out-dated?
I've tried my trusty old Belkin, a new IOGEAR class 1 and the latest, USB60BT by micro innovations class 1.
My computer will notice my Wireless router, but will keep cycling and saying "no internet access", yet it comes up with full bars of connection.
I've tried re-installing Wireless drivers and that didn't work. My wireless internet is working on my Mac, iPhone, iPad & Mums laptop.
