View 1 Replies View RelatedI just did a fresh install of Windows 7 (x64) on Dell laptop- Dell Inspiron N5110 . I did not rebuild it from the factory restore disc as that failed to work. The installation is complete. I am trying To get my Wi-Fi to work by pressing FN+F2 however it is not working, the Bluetooth icon appears instead which doesn’t work either.I have tried to look for the wifi adapter in the device manager, but it does not exist in the list.I understand that I have to install the drivers. Will that do the trick? I also don’t know what the name of the wifi adapter is, so don’t know which driver to install.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have just installed win 7 for my laptop model: inspiron N5010 and i dont have any drivers for it, how can i find drivers specially w-Lan drivers for internet
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, however there seems to be one small issue: can't get WLan drivers installed.I'm using Windows 7 (64x edition). On Device Manager, under "Other Devices" there is an unknown "Network Controller".
Tried installing drivers from Dell Drivers & Downloads section (yes, used my service tag), but there was a problem with following ones: R252544 for Dell Wireless WLAN 1520 Half MiniCard. Result: "No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed." Half Mini Card
- R247430 for Intel Intel (R) WiMAX Link 6250. Result: "This software package cannot be installed on your system."
- R252283 for Intel Intel(R) WiFi Link 6200 "No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed."
All these messages appear right after running setup. Other drivers were installed successfully and in the right order.
I've got a Dimension 8300 which I loaded Windows Server 2003. I've looked high and low for a compatible network driver with no luck.
I've attempted to install WinXP drivers as I've read that it worked for others in the past... no luck for me though. I've also tried a number of different chipset drivers without any luck.
I can only find 64 bit driver for this model.
View 23 Replies View RelatedI reformatted my HDD (needed to do that anyway) and re-installed Windows 7 and all drivers (Chipset 1st) from my Dell CD after messing up a recovery test.
Everything seemed fine. But now, when I am surfing the Internet, I sometimes lose the connection. The icon in the Taskbar has a yellow exclamation point. (This does not happen in Slackware on the same machine, just in Windows 7.)
The first time this happened, I couldn't ping my router, so I checked all cables, cable modem, and router. But they were all fine and my other (really old desktop running Puppy Linux) was still connected fine and could surf to new web pages.
I did "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew" on the Dell in Windows 7 and the NIC got the correct IP address and gateway. Now I could ping the router, but I could not ping the Internet, which didn't make any sense, since the other computer was accessing the Internet just fine on the same router! (No IP address confilict exists, and gateway was correct on both machines.) I tried updating the driver, but no new drivers were found. This first time, the issue was resolved by rebooting Windows 7. I also unchecked the setting to turn off the NIC to save power. (I just checked the USB hubs per another post, and it's also unchecked.)
The second time this happened, "ipconfig /renew" failed! I set everything manually (including DNS servers), and on reboot, it still wasn't working. I did a complete shutdown of the computer and startup, now it works again.
So here I am looking for a new driver (64-bit, signed). Not only is there not a new driver...they don't even list the current driver! The only one listed is from March 2010, my driver is June 2011. Current driver is version 7.46.610.2011. Where is there a newer Realtek driver? And why are this things so buggy more than a year after 7 came out, especially if these are supposedly signed by Microsoft?
I downloaded Windows 8 on the first day of it's public release. I have an Inspiron 1545 laptop. As soon as I installed W8, my wireless card stopped working. Is there any chance that W8 drivers will be released anytime soon? I am very dependent on my laptop and need to get it up and going again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently had to re-install Windows 7 on my Inspiron laptop, no problem did that easily, put in my CD and done.
But when it had finished, I realised I couldn't connect to the Internet, so I got my old laptop, entered in my service tag, and downloaded the 3 network drivers listed. Stuck them on a USB stick, copied them onto the newly restored laptop, installed them, restarted. And it still wasn't working, to my dismay.
I have a Dell Inspiron 14z 5423 ultrabook.
I only need to connect to the Internet, I can let the online thing do the rest, I just need to connect to the Internet to do so.
I recently upgraded to Window 7 (from XP)
Everything works great, even my bluetooth mouse, but my Dell BH200 Bluetooth Stereo Headset doesn't work
find the driver (to download) so that I can get my headset to work.
In Summary:
need driver for my Bluetooth BH200 Headphones I have Windows 7 operating system my computer is a a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.
I have a Dell PowerEdge 2800 (Just reinstalled windows Server 2003) I have tried the two (non lan) network driver setups that dell has on its site and I get "the update package is not compatible with your system configuration".
I am trying to access the internet on my box, how to accomplish this or fix the problem I'm getting while loading driver setup?
It appears that the 1395 WLAN mini-card on my computer does not support 802.11n wifi. Although the file implies that some 1395 cards may have 1500/1505 draft 802.11n capabilities. When looking at the driver details, it does not have any options or settings for 802.11n. Confusing. Since my computer is a number of years old, it may be that the wifi card is pre-cards with the 1500/1505 draft 802.11n capability.
My question is there an update driver for the 1395 mini-card that would allow the card to access my 802.11n router?
Is there a newer or compatible wifi card for the Inspirion 1525 (dell or otherwise) that can replace the 1395 mini-card so that I take advantage of my 802.11n router (Netgear N600 Dual Band Router) higher speed capabilities?
I got a few of these NICs and Windows Server 2008R2 is not installing any drivers.
I tried downloading some drivers off Intel website and still no joy.
Since this is a Dell OEM product, how to get the correct set of drivers?
i bought new laptop (Dell Inspiron N5110) .i installed Win7 64-bit.i installed all drivers but there is still one that i can't fined
Network Controller -> yellow mark appear on it and i don't know how to use wireless . When I run the Intel My WiFi Utility it writes - No supported Intel Wireless network was found.
I am having difficulty connecting my Inspiron N5110 to WiFi (I managed to when I first bought it last week through a different network but when I bought it home it didn't work).
When I try and connect, it asks for the key, which I enter. It then searches and says it can't connect to the Network. The WiFi Network then becomes unavailable and loses signal with all Internet connected devices then taken offline. The network then reconnects but the laptop still doesn't connect to the WiFi. Is there a setting I need to change in the laptop to get it to connect?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy pc is connected to the ethernet chord at home. I can go anywhere else and connect with a wireless connection but I can't in my own house. Every time I try I get an error the the network adapter isn't found. The trouble shooter can't even fix it. Everyone else in the house has no issues connecting with a wireless connection. The wireless connection has worked maybe twice for me since I purchased the laptop (May 2012). Since I am more comfortable at my desk it's no issue but there is a new printer that I can't connect to because I can't download the driver because I have to unplug my laptop to go in the other room to get to it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to reinstall Windows but upon reinstallation, I noticed that wireless does not connect. I tried pressing Fn +F2. Nothing. No LED light for wireless.
First I started the WLAN AutoConfig service under services.msc. After starting/enabling this service - nothing.
I searched the forum and found a post for Quickset. I followed the instructions given and restarted. When I press Fn+F2 the screen flashes the wifi symbol and my wifi LED comes on. However, when I go to connect to a wireless network - none can be found (I have connected to this network before and know that it works). I searched support and navigated to Manage Wireless Networks. I click on the Add button and get the following message:Windows cannot detect any wireless network interfaces.
ive read some of wat u said but my problem is that my wifi network goes well working then it goes to limited access when i try to fix it the screen freeze and i have to shut it down and then turn on....then it goes well working....idk wat is causing it to do so...sometime it does it every month or so and sometimes 5 times a day!
