So facebook and tumblr has been blocked on my computer and ive tried everything to unblock it. its been blocked through my mtom/adsl cause i cant access facebook and tumblr on internet explorer either. I've tried going to command promt and typing in different codes except it doesnt work.how to unblock it on firefox (newest version) ?
View 4 RepliesI am having some trouble with the antivirus software.I had AVG antivirus installed but I thought it was causing some problems.So I unistalled it and downloaded a trial version of Bitdefender.Got it installed and found out I can't browse the web via Firefox. So I was trying to go through all the settings in Bitdef. but no luck.Uninstalled BD, rebooted the comp, still no internet. I did clean the registry and spyware as well.But the weird bit is that somehow I can browse the internet using old IE8 (64bit only. 32bit is not working?).I was also trying to re-install AVG but it could not complete as the connection with their server was blocked.It seems like something is blocking everything apart from 64bit ver. of IE8.

In my curiosity, when I typed one of my family members, I was so shocked to find that his personal information is right on the websites, as if he gave 'permission' to see his privacy, i.e., his age, marital status, even his home address. when I typed all of my family members, their personal informations are also on websites as if they all gave 'permission' to see their privacy.
It's 'privacy invasion' to see all of our family personal informations.
My question is; How to block websites from viewing all of my family members' personal informations?

When i configure to block websites it's ok, but websites unblock to access very slowly, sometime i can't access. My company has 50 users, all most them can't access unblock sites. How can i configure it better?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to IT, and have been put in charge of managing our servers hile my boss is on vacation.We currently have a Sonicwall Network Security Appliance that handles our Firewall/VPN and have web content filtering set in place.I have a user who belongs to 2 CFS policy groups that we have set up. I've double checked with Active Directory, and he is a member of both groups.
This person SHOULD have access to Job searches/ and Restaurants,but receives a "content blocked" message on his browser.It appears to me that the settings in Sonicwall are correct, as well with AD member groups.
I am trying to connect to a Security-enabled wireless netowork. I have the key. My problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to enter it. When I try to connect I open the "view available networks"window. I see the network name and it shows a strong signal (all 5 green bars).
