Upstairs I have a Century Link modem/wireless router. My wife and I use our laptops, smart phones, and XBox 360 on the wireless network. Downstairs I have an older Dell PC that I use for my business. I have an Ethernet run from upstairs to downstairs. The Ethernet jack upstairs is near a cable outlet because we used to have cable internet. Now we have DSL and the phone jack is on the other side of the room. Here's my question... I have a Belkin N600 wireless router, is there any way I can plug it into the Ethernet port on the other side of the room, and use it like a wireless adapter? I have tried a few time to set it up as an "access point" but it doesn't seem to work. As soon as I do, I can no longer access the Belkin router to make any changes and I need to do a manual reset. can I plug my downstairs PC into the Belkin N600, and have wi-fi internet access from the wireless modem/router upstairs?

I have a N600dp. My printer, Brother MFC-J410W, is plugged into the router USB port. The printer function works but the scanner function doesn't. I keep getting an error message that the printer is not connected.
Will the N600 Belkin router is DD-WRT compatible, because I saw in a database it is not. Is there also a way to make it DD-WRT compatible, e.g. flashing it ? Do you have a download on the router support side.
One of the laptops in my home connects to the wireless network provided by my brand new Belkin (N600 Dual Band) router with no difficulty at all - the other will not connect at all (it SAYS it is connected to the network, but it says that it is a 'Local Connection Only, and will not open any web browsers or allow you to get on to the internet) why is this happening and, more importantly.
trying to add a media storage device (3 TB WD My Book Essentials) to my N600 DB router via USB. I have partitioned the HD 2 TB / 1 TB. I have tried several formatting scheme but the router is still not recognizing the HD. Have refreshed, reset, and done a firmware upgrade to the 600.

From the belkin router monitor, the printer is listed under "Networked USB devices". However, the printer is grayed out and can not be selected. the dialog complains that the printer is not available.

I have a wi fi capable blu ray player which works on wireless g connections, and I also have 2 computers. I have the N600 Dual Band router, and want to know if it is possible to transmit on both frequencies? I am only seeing the 2.4ghz show up for a connection.
I'm a bit confused about Belkin's firmware upgrading. I lookup the firmware for my router N600 (F9K1102v1) and see that I've got options for v1, v2, and v3. Is it possible to upgrade my router to the v3 firmware? I'm guessing that I can't because its a v1 router, but just thought I'd ask just in case I can. Don't want to brick the thing.
The Belkin N600 DB N+ Router. It has 2 seperate networks for optimum performance, how do i go about choosing which band I want to use? Under the Belkin desktop I can clearly see 2 SSID's. One shows 2.4 GHz SSID & network name and the other 5GHz SSID & network name. media. But when I pull up my wireless connections I only see 1 network.
Can't download newest firmware for F9K1102/N600 DB Router. I am on 1.00.19 and there are two newer firmwares, the latest being 3.03.12. This firmware is suppose to allow support for Windows 8. All my computers now have Windows 8 so I want this firmware, but I can't download it because the link provided by belkin no longer exists

I have a N600 router. Yesterday, for the first time, I was unable to connect to the internet from my TV. It keeps saying network connection failed. I have unplugged the router and modem several times and that does not work. When I check the various wireless systems available (on the TV screen) I see mine there but it will not connect. At one point I did see something that said ethernet cable disconnected, but I checked and the cable is connected.
Just installed N600 router. Works for my Windows 7 PC and my Android phone. Does not work with my Windows VISTA PC. It connects to the Router ok, but does not connect with the Internet. Also says UNIDENTIFIED NETWORK. What am I missing?
I'm trying to check what quantity of data is going through the router. I can see there is a monitor that tells you in real time the output for the last few minutes, but I want to keep track of monthly usage so I know whether I'm nearing my download limit set by my ISP. Is this possible with the Play N600??
A N600 Router Model F9J1102v1 router first installed in July 2012 with WPA-PSK, MAC Address Filtering and "Self Healing" enabled would not allow a new PC to connect via an RJ45 port. Belkin support ask for the unit to be reset to factory settings which is done and the Security system re-enabled again. Valid MAC Addresses start to be added and midway a PC is discovered in the Network without its MAC address added. Closer scrutiny reveals that another unknown device has also found a way into the router and that the 'Block' option on the MAC list is also failing to work. Anyone think of what one should do with this security shambles other than turn the thing off quick?
