We have a CSS 11503 with the following partial config [code] it is clear that the server at 10.10.10.222 is active. What we cannot understand is why web site is inaccessible thru load balancer using http://10.10.10.1.
We are using Cisco ACE 4710 for load balancing the servers. The predictor used is 'least connections'.Have observed the below; The number of connections for a particular server in a serverfarm is 15 in the Cisco ACE.The actual number of users in that server is 6.All the users access using the VIP.Still i couldn't understand why there is difference in the number of users in the server and the load balancer statistics.
I am configuring a load balancer from cisco, a ACE 4710.Load blancing is completely new to me, and i am unexpereinced in this field. It has to be configured for a customer that want to load balance HTTP and RTSP traffic over 4 application servers (Back-end),I searched alot on google for possible solutions, and got RTSP in some way to work, but http wont work says my customer.
how to capture the incoming and outgoing packets on the balancer? The load balancer is connected in between the customer DCN and cisco switches 2960.The reason of capturing both incoming and outgoing packets on the balancer is to prove to our customer that there is no packet loss issue on the balancer, and it could be some issue on their DCN network.Since it is a production server, I will need to ensure that there is no impact to the incoming and outgoing traffic on the balancer and other networking equipments as well.
I can access our CSSS 11500 through telnet and a serial connection. When I try the web interface, I get:
CVDM Startup Error CVDM has not been granted the necessary privileges to startup successfully, or another unknown error occurred during startup. Please close all involved browser windows and try again by granting all requested privileges.
We have multiple CSS 11500 clusters. We have found that on all of them, if you try to open a session on any port to an IP address on the backend of the CSS, the CSS will complete the SYN-ACK-ACK session with the client. This happens regardless of whether there is something on that IP address or not.
Coming from any IP, if I try to telnet to ANY IP on the 10.2.2.0 subnet (whether or not there is an actual server on that IP) on any port (whether or not that port is open or not), the CSS will complete the initial connection. I have verified this using telnet to numerous ports and viewing the transaction in a packet capture.
Is there any way to shut this off? This is causing some licensing issues for our security folks that use a vulnerability scanner licensed on number of IP addresses.
I have got Linksys RV082 in my home network to use it as load balancer between 2 providers. Is it possible to make some customisation in scenarioses and logging system? As I understand the device is based on some Linux core and Linux infracrtucture. So it must me available in sources... How I may get this kind of access? I want to get ssh/telnet or other raw access to installed on the device OS and manual control it, treat around web-UI. How may I do it?
i don't know why cu need this feature, he want stickiness based on source ip and source port. Does CSS 11500 support stickiness based on source IP and source port?or is there any other method to support stickness based on source ip and sourceport?
I'm attempting to redirect SSL from the base site to a different page on the same SSL site. I want to redirect https://10.4.16.54/* to[URL] . If I enter[URL], site loads, but if I enter simply https://10.4.16.54, it times out. The ssl_sharepoint service is my ssl_proxy_list.
Up until a few weeks ago I was playing the beta version of the pokemon trading card game online [url]... but then for no apparent reason I could not load the webpage & every time I tried I got the same "The connection has timed out" "The server at Pokmon Trading Card Game Online is taking too long to respond." page. I tried 3 different browsers & I tried unplugging my modem & leaving it off all night to reset it but nothing seems to work. I thought maybe the website was down but then I was able to log in at the library so I thought maybe I was banned & they blocked my IP address so I downloaded a program that hides my IP address & I was able to load the site but not play the game. Just today tho I took my laptop to school & got on wifi & played it with no problem without even using the hide my IP program. So I am absolutely stumped! This is the only web page my computer will not load & I really want to play the game again.
I'm trying to get on a website (florida virtual school), and it's just not loading,it says oops! google chrome can not find flvs.net, my other friends can login and everything and i can go on other site, except the one i've also tryed firefox
all of a sudden my browser wont let me load this one certain site (Pwctoday.com). I think my internet is blocking it because i cant even go on my phone that is connected to my wifi. Also i have tried other browsers. Still doesn't workPS: I go on this website almost everyday. And i verified the site is working on my friends computer. So maybe my router is blocking it??
I have configured a router WRV210 and I left it enabled in order to access it remotely, but I can not connect to it. I have checked the settings and everything is fine, but if I try to access it from anywhere in the website does not load, either IE or Firefox or Chrome.
Region : Canada Model : TL-WDR4300 Hardware Version : V1 Firmware Version : 3.13.23 Build 120810 Rel.44064n ISP : Bell Canada
We have a WDR4300 router that works well about 98% of the time. We have a static IP address from our ISP configured through PPPoE in the router and are hosting our own email and web server at local IP 192.168.1.200 behind the router. Port forwarding is enabled and working beautifully.
At some times throughout the day, any computer behind the router on our local network is unable to browse to our own website by our domain name (e.g. www.xyz.com) nor by the static IP it is attached to. We also get e-mail errors with mail client configured to use the domain name or the static IP it is attached to as the outgoing mail server. When this happens, I am still able to browse any other site on the internet without problem... just not our own. Also, I have verified that while this is happening (internal computers can access the internet but not our own website):
1) I can browse to our website just fine from a computer outside of our network (e.g. a proxy or a computer controlled remotely from my home)
2) a computer from within the office that cannot reach our website using the domain name or the static IP it is attached to can still reach the website by browsing to the local IP address of the web server (192.168.1.200)
3) the problem seems to resolve itself sometime within 45 minutes of noticing it is occurring if we do nothing. We can make the problem resolve itself sooner by restarting the router.
I have the impression that this problem MIGHT start occurring when users are downloading files from our website. Of course, if this is the case, we cannot simply restart the router to fix the problem because then we are cutting off their download.
SIP Load balancing Issue with ACE 4710?I have a Cisco ace 4710 with vesion Version A4(2.2). i configued simple SIP load balancing first without stickiness. without stikeiness we are having a problem because bye packet at the was not going to the same server all the time that left our port in used even though user hang up the phone. its happen randmly. i have a total 20 licenced ports and its fill out very quickly. so i dicided to use the stickiness with call-ID but still same issue. below is the config
rserver host CIN-VOX-31 ip address 172.20.130.31 inservice rserver host CIN-VOX-32 ip address 172.20.130.32 inservice
To start with following is our architectural request flow:
Load Balancer --> Webseal /(reverse proxy) --> HTTP Server --> Portal Server
We have Hardware Load Balancer Cisco ACE20. When we access our portal from Webseal server it works totally fine without any issue, but when we access the same application using ACE we face the following issues:
1) Some of the links on do not work. For eg: We have a link "subscribe" which points to [URL], whenever we click on this link, the request is directed to [URL] i.e homepage
2) URL redirection does not work We have some links which have a url forwarding or redirection for example when we open [URL] it forwards the requests to [URL] opendocument....., but this redirection fails and again the request is thrown to homepage i.e., [URL]
3) The response of the request and the overall portal when accessed via ACE is very sluggish and it takes 20 seconds for homepage to load, whereas the homepage loads in 4 secs when accessed via webseal.
Experienced the same sort of behaviour with an ACE 4710 version A3 (2.5). When trying to connect to a webpage on port 443, the pages over 1 minute to download fully. I have timed the download using the plug-in firefox. What is strange is that the browser successfully makes the connection, 200OK etc, but each 'get' takes a very long time to transfer. If I go directly to the server and don't pass via the ACE the page takes between .7 and 1 second to transfer. Is there a way to speed this transfer up, I am currently looking at connection maps.
