Apr 28, 2013My HO is connected to BOs over MPLS Links.The links are terminated on routers but i dont have access on those routers as it is maintained by the ISP.Behind of the HO router there is s 3560 switch. Can i configure this switch to prioritize some traffic over the WAN link to the BOs.

Since we are having a common internet link for VPN as well other corporate use we have to prioritize the internet bandwidth for Videconferencing. is there any way i can prioritise videoconferencing traffic by ports? following are the configs done on the cisco 2801 router with Version 12.4(15)T10.

Cisco WAN :: 2800 ISR And MPLS - How To Load Balance / Prioritize Traffic Between Them
Oct 31, 2011We have 2mb mpls network between three sites. Each site also has its own internet connection for hosting webserver and internal users to access internet. Each site has a few internal subnets. Each site currently has a 2800 series ISR.
1) Increase Internet connection to 10mbps and configure site-to-site VPNS in a mesh configuration so that each site has a vpn to each other site. This would create six vpn tunnels.
2) Configure so that only Exchange and VoiP traffic use the MPLS network under normal conditions. All other traffic (backup/misc apps) should be routed to use the Internet VPNs. If the MPLS fails of course we would like the Exchange and VoiP traffic to fail over to the VPN connections as well until the MPLS comes back up.

Sep 25, 2012we're looking to use an ASA5505 or 5510 as our firewall but want to see if one of them can prioritize traffic. I know it does QoS but we're wanting to dedicate x amount of our bandwidth to traffic based on destination IP address. Is that possible and does it take a license upgrade?

I want the ports to act similiarly to the ports on an 881 router - where I assign the VLANs on the router and I set the VLANs to the switchport interfaces.I would like to be able to create the VLANs on the router portion of the 2951 and then, enter the switch module and configure the Ports to the VLANs but, how do I logically connect router to the switch? Is it an internal logical interface - meaning how are the VLANs getting from the router to the switch?

And I would like to ask some opinion on the best configuration for the above layout:
1. Configuration #1 - Using load sharing and automatic failover So I want to ask whether there's any link/url that provides details/guides on how to setup the load sharing and failover?
2. Configuration #2 - Workstations 1 - 35 will be routed through Line01 gateway and workstations 36 - 70 will be routed through Line02 As for this configuration, it's done now. However, I want to know whether there's any software (preferred web based application which allows me to change the gateway from line #1 to line #2 for all 70 computers instead of having to go to each workstation to update the gateway).

Feb 27, 2013I have a Cisco 2951 Router and I am trying to set it up to use DHCP and for security purposes I need to use the "IP Access-Group in" command. The DHCP will not work when I have this command on the interface that I need to run it through, DHCP works fine when I do not have the "IP Access-Group in" command in the configuration. When I check the log after the failed DHCP attempt it shows up as denied, as if it's being blocked. The IOS I have is c2951-UNIVERSALK9-m 15.0 (1) M3. Conf Reg 0x2102.

Mar 12, 2013I have this Cisco 1941 router with two Ethernet ports g0/0 and g0/1. The g0/0 is connected to office LAN with internet access. As my office LAN is DHCP, it will assigned a IP address for g0/0 since this g0/0 is configured as "ip address dhcp". Now my question is that i have a group of 5 pcs, namely PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4 and PC5 that is connected to the switch and one of the ports of this switch is connected to g0/1 of Cisco 1941. Is it possible that let say PC2 and PC3 (both DHCP enabled) could access the internet access from g0/0 and at the same time, the office LAN assigned IP address for PC2 and PC3 automatically?

Oct 15, 2012I have just set up my Cisco 1941 router to my cable internet connection. I have access to everything, but I cant login successfully into Cisco CP.
I set up a new user with level 15 privileges and a secret password. I go to login via webbrowser and I put in my credentials, but I get rejected. I have tested the username and password via the CLI, and it works fine, I just cant seam to login to Cisco CP.

ip route 10.84.22.0 255.255.254.0 10.84.23.254
That I advertsied in eBGP :

network 10.84.22.0 mask 255.255.254.0
the IP next hop 10.84.23.254 is cascaded on my customer LAN . At nominal time the router advertsed the route in BGP

Cisco VPN :: 1941 / XTM22 - Traffic Only Going 1 Way
Jul 31, 2011I have a site to site vpn between a Cisco 1941 Router and a Watch guard XTM22 Router. The tunnel is up, and from the side with the Watch guard Router, I have full access to the LAN on the Cisco 1941 side.
However, I cannot access any of the devices on the LAN on the Watch guard side. If you had to guess, which router would you say is causing the problem? I really don't know where to start looking.

Mar 12, 2012I am having an issue accessing the internet from a PC on the LAN. I have configured the PC with the gateway of the router infront of the ISP to test. I can ping from the router to google or any other internet IP. From the PC I can ping to the GIG0/1 (Inside LAN IP) and the GIG0/0 (Outside WAN IP going to ISP) but I can't ping the Next Hop IP of the ISP or anything past that. If I do a trace route from the PC to the google IP address it hits the GIG0/1 Inside LAN IP Address but fails from there. Here is a cut down snap shot of the router configure

Feb 12, 2012I have a Cisco 1941 router configured using Cisco Configuration Professional... SSH management works from the LAN IP 10.0.1.254 and 10.0.2.254 Also, SSH management works from the LAN using the external domain name which resolves to the public IP address.
The problem i have is if I try SSH from the internet to the public IP.. nothing happens.

It runs version IOS 15.0(1)M1 software, which seems to work well, but I'd like to download a firmware update that addresess some of the security flaws in this software. When I tried the download process it told me I need to buy a service contract first? Is this right, or am I doing something wrong?

Apr 4, 2013Recently my company buy a EHWIC4ESG card and put into the cisco 1941. The reason we buy this card is because the in built two network ports of cisco 1941 are being used up. g0/1 is being connected to the internet and g0/0 is being connected to the office switch (192.168.5.x)
We have two servers (192.168.6.x and 158.55.33.x) that required to be connected to this router 1941 where the router will be configured as VPN for external user to access this server.
The EHWIC4ESG card is put into the router 1941 and after typing the "running-config" command, i could see it create a vlan 1 interface and
