Dell :: How To Make XPS L702X Act As Handsfree Over Bluetooth
Apr 26, 2012
I recently bought a Dell XPS L702X with Intel Centrino N 1030 Wireless and BT 3.0 HS card/driver.How to connect my Android mobile phone over BT to answer calls on laptop?I have tried everything: new BT drivers, Broadcomm drivers won't find my BT device (it was turned on), tried installing Bluesoleil w/o success.i only have 3 posibilities: sync phonebook, play audio on laptop from mobile phone and transfer files.
I have a dell xps 17 l702x and I live in Halls of residence (dorm) . Suddenly this morning my laptop doesn't connect to Internet (wifi or ethernet) . When I try to connect my friend's laptop to the same cable . It works . I am using avg 2013 .
some days ago a technical Dell replace on my XPS17 L702X the fan because more often, while I was working, fan get started (noise, decrease in performance, and so on ...). After some hours my laptop dies, I found it tourned off and it didn't start again. So, afert two days, another technical Dell changed XPS17 's motherboard and the power connector. The same day I worked with my notebook without any problemes, but at the end of my workday I shut down the system (Windows server 2008) and It restart automatically. I tried again more than once, but at the end my laptop restart automatically again (I have two partitions: Win 7 and Win 2008 server Both OS has the same issue: automatic reboot afert shut down). This morning I turned on my laptop and immediatelty I shut it down and It dind't restar, during the day while I was working, sometimes I turned it off and all seems ok, but this evening (after a workday and after backup) it restarted automatically again after shut down !
I upgraded to windows 8 from the windows7 a couple days ago and everything seems to be working fine except my desktop. All of the metro style apps (including IE 10) connect to the internet but for some reaon I cannot connect to the internet on my desktop at all. Anything app or my browser on my desktop cannot find any internet to connect to. I have XPS L702x
Just recently bought a dell xps 17 L702x, and decided to reinstall windows 7 as it came with all the nonsense factory software installed.
The problem is I can't find a wireless network driver, the drivers CD I received with the laptop is useless and the official drivers on the dell website do not work either, I do not know which network card I have, so I downloaded a software which would tell me all the hardware in the laptop but it ends up telling me I do not have a network card, but I definitely do have one because the wireless was working before the reinstallation of windows. So now I'm stuck with a laptop with no wireless, having to use an ethernet cable.
I have a annoying problem with my Dell L702x i5-2430M @ 2.4 and Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230. When I reach high downloading speeds (4-9mb/s) and have music on ( laptop speakers, using media player classic build version 1.5.2.3456) I hear some intense crackling sound from the speakers, but only when the music is on, whenever I pause the music the crackling stops. If I stop my downloads then the crackling sound disappears.
I bought a used XPS M1530 from a friend a few months ago and he told me it did have Bluetooth, but I've tried everything I can think of and can't get it to work. I went to computer management services, it's says it's set to automatic and is running, nothings happening.

Following a new HDD & install of the OS my Dell 1525 is not showing wifi or bluetooth and is not letting me connect via wireless. I have tried installing drivers but nothing. I can only connect via ethernet. I also tried removing the card and replacing it to ensure it was in correctly but still nothing. The set up menu on boot shows wireless card present and all enabled to factory defaults.
Just bought a new XPS 14Z that is supposed to have bluetooth. But I have been unable to connect to my Jawbone Icon earbud. Have updated drivers for both devices but can't get the laptop to recognize Jawbone while searching for devices.
I just received my XPS 16 and I was informed that it had a built in Bluetooth. I purchased a bluetooth mouse and tried to use it, but I am unable to get the computer to turn on the Bluetooth device. Had Dell support look at it, but the guy passed me off to someone else. So I still do not have this working. Is there an updated driver required to get this Bluetooth working.

I own a Dell XPS M1530 laptop and recently my windows vista was not working properly so i decided to reinstall the windows again. I installed each and every driver but when i was installing the Bluetooth driver, it shows me "Activate Bluetooth by Fn+F2 or Radio On/Off Button". My Radio button is already on the ON position and when I press Fn+F2 nothing happens. I need to install this driver
I had purchased Dell Studio 15 in 2009-2010 and before few days back i had formatted my system and installed Windows 7 ultimate SP1. Now i am not able to get the option of Bluetooth. i am sure the issue is with driver of it. Some way to reinstall the driver or make it working properly.
I recently bought a dell inspiron 4050 i5. Its working fine but i cant see any bluetooth software in it. How will i know if my laptop got a bluetooth device?
and one more question is this model has a bluetooh opention is available or not?
I'm having an issue with the Bluetooth drivers on the E6520, basically I had all the drivers installed and device manager was reporting no issues, all of a sudden (a day later to be exact) I have three unknown bluetooth devices in Device manager and I can't install drivers for them. [code]
I have tried the following methods to install the drivers all have failed.Update through device manager and use Windows Update.Update via Device Manager and manually specify the drivers location
Tried using Dell client system update utility manually downloaded the Buletooth package from Dell, only to have it fail (I can't veiw the entire error, but I think its to do with me using 64bit) Unistalled & Reinstalled the entire bluetooth module.I had a similar issue with my E5410, but can't recall how I worked it out.
I have a DELL Inspiron, just 10 months old and ever since I have reinstalled the windows and I try to install the bluetooth drivers and wi fi drivers, during set up I am asked to press Fn + F3, it worked like before the reinstallation of the window, but now it is not working, the wifi or bluetooth does not get turned on, what to do now, how to cure it coz I really need the wifi service. Plus my laptop does not have a manual switch or button for wifi and bluetooth.
What is wrong with my Dell Inspiron 5010 "Bluetooth" module? It just turns off and Icon disappears. How can I turn it back on?Why does it just "turn off"?
