My network device tree now shows three (actually two) drivers not working, as follows:
Tuerdo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface Driver
and, ISATAP Driver
It is my understanding that these are used to send IPV4 encapsulated IPV6 packets across intranet, and that I need to update the network card drivers to fix the issue. I am not sure if the drivers shown on the Dell site will fix this issue.
I had to Reinstall my windows Vista OS. My WNA was working prior to the OS reinstallation, so I am confused a bit. I have no idea how to reinstall drivers in order that dell gives me. I have downloaded the drivers from the Dell downloads section;however, I don't know what to do next. I tried to go to device manager and find network adapter, but it does not appear, only an "other" section with some ! marks next to them.

When I run the diagnostic on the Network, I get " computer does not have a network adapter installed and configured" What is going on Dell? I called the help desk and the condescending tech said that I had to pay 250.00! This is a two month old computer - Dell - stand behind your products!

When I try and troubleshoot it shows me that the Broadcom 802.11 Multiband Network Adapter has a Code 10 error and says the "device cannot start." I have tried uninstalling and updating the driver, but it just continues to tell me that it has the best driver every-time I try and update it.If I plug the laptop in to the router with a wired connection it works just fine, so it is obviously an issue with the wireless adapter.what I should do in order to get this to take a new driver so it works again?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, which I bought 3.5 years back. The laptop used to work fine before. I just shifted home 1.5 month back. Previously I used to have the wireless router always close to my laptop, so I never realized this issue. Now the wireless router (802.11n) for Fibre optics internet is in the ground floor and my studio is on 2nd floor. In my office latop, which is a new one, I get 3 out of 5 signal bars and get 34-56 mbps signal. But my Dell laptop does not get any signal, but when it is closer to the router it works fine.
if I buy an USB network Adapter device which is n series and supports upto 300mbps signal, then will it improve the situation? If yes, then which devices are preferred and how can I know whether that new device is compatible with my laptop settings (as this is a bit old one) or not? If not, then how can I improve the wireless reception? I have tried with booster etc already. I have also updated the network adapter drivers.the wireless card I have is: Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN minicard?
Replaced the HDD in my wife's Inspiron 1420, Vista, Intel dual core T7250s

Kept all the disks shipped with the lappy, Prepped the HD per the media rules, loaded windows and the mediadirect and the driver resource CD.. they all had autoexecs and seem to run fine. Failed to connect to the net.. checked it out on device mgr, found the code 10 fail.. All other drivers seemed to have loaded..
tried to update the driver.. it said it already had the correct driver. - fail
DLed the Broadcom driver to a thumb and installed it - no difference. Rebooted.. several times during all this.
Read here it might be install order - thought I might try it manually. Looked for Intel T7250 drivers.. "not currently available" here.

I am having a problem with my Inspiron 1525. It connects to my home wifi network, but doesn't connect to the internet. The Windows says there is a problem with the router, but my housemates have no problem getting into the internet with their Macbooks. I have tried resetting the router (numerous times) and disconnecting from my network and reconnecting, but it doesn't work.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Inspiron M5110 Laptop and was having some trouble staying connected to my internet so this morning I decided I would try and update the drivers. I have uninstalled the Wireless and Blue Tooth drivers and reinstalled them, but now, it won't even TRY to connect at all. In the bottom right corner, there's a red x over the wireless bars, and says No Connections are available. Before , it would have a spinning circle while trying to connect, but it doesnt have that at all anymore. My Ethernet connection is working fine, I even uninstalled and reinstalled that driver (REALTEK) and its working with no problems.
If I run IPCONFIG, the wireless adapter doesn't even show up anymore. I've tried resetting, disabling, anything I could think of. I tried several versions too of the drivers, but nothing is working. Right now, I removed it, so I have a yellow exclamation mark next to Network Controller in my Device Settings. My hardware ID for the adapter is PCIVEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_02051028
I think from the above info, I believe the wireless adapter belongs to Atheros.how I can get this thing to even attempt to connect to a network? I'm dead in the water...
This afternoon, I plugged in a Belkin bluetooth adapter F8TO16 and paired it with a pair of 7dayshop headphones. Instead of leaving well alone with an old driver, I decided to update the Belkin driver - which went well. However, the Dell 365 Module then reported an error and trouble shooting informed me that it now had a driver error. Windows searched for and found a driver, but could not install it.. I've since downloaded and installed new Dell drivers for it but I still get the same result - can't install driver. (The module was working fine before I up-dated the Belkin driver.)
I figure I now have to un-install the Module and then install an up-dated version. Is this the right way to go and if it is, how do I go about it? I'm using Win7 64 bit on an Inspiron 1750.

When i turn the laptop on at first it seems normal and it says i have an internet connection, but when i try to go on the internet it just puts up a blank white screen. It then tries to load a webpage and either freezes completely and the whole screen goes black or times out after about 10 minutes and says:

I am trying to active a wi-fi hotspot I recently upgraded to with Telstra. The instructions are very simple, handy for me as I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers.So I've never used my wi-fi before. I know there is a button on the right hand side I need to slide forward to turn the wi-fi on. When I do this the computer makes a 'ping' noise, I assume it is acknowleding the Wi-fi is on? However, the button doesn't stay forward it sits in the middle. The wi-fi light doesn't appear to change either.

After a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate (service pack 1) I've visited the Dell Product Support section, entered in my service tag and downloaded all the recommended drivers & applications. The Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller driver (I've tried both the download and CD) works fine for the Card itself, but it doesn't work for the Network Controller. When I first restart after running the installation program included with the driver, XP tells me that a new Network Controller device has been found. As I go through the driver installation for that device it fails, and I receive a message telling me that the Hardware Update Wizard "Cannot Install this Hardware...The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software." The device then appears in the Device Manager under the Other Devices section with a yellow question mark and exclamation point indicating trouble.

I have a Dell Inspiron N5030 laptop that I just installed a new hard drive in. Prior to the new install had no issues with wireless connectivity, now I have none. I have researched this issue for the past three days without success.
I also installed a new wireless card which still did not solve my problem. As I said, this is a Dell Inspiron N5030. Operating system is Windows 7 32-bit The network adapter is an Atheros AR8152 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller.In the Device Manager the Network Controller is listed under "Other Devices" The new wireless card installed is listed as a DNXA-95-D1. That is really the only information I can give you about this card.
Side note: I can get on the internet if I hard wire in, just can't access internet wirelessly.
I can't find the driver for the Network Controller on a Inspiron 1150, I just did a clean installation of WinXP, I used the Dell CD-ROM that came with the piece... I searched every CD that came with the darn thing and I still cant find the driver I need... In the device manager the " Network Controller ", has a question mark by it meaning it doesnt have the driver installed
