Dell :: Inspiron 1525 / Unable To Open Videos On YouTube?
Mar 22, 2009
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop running Vista SP2. My Internet Explorer is at version 7.06. When I attempt to open a video on youtube.com I get the following message:
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player."
I checked my Internet Explorer options and I do have JavaScript enabled. I also downloaded the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player and then rebooted my laptop. Get the same the message.
I am certain that I have opened them successfully before on this laptop. I've only had it since December 2008 and loaded only MS Office 2007 and the Shield Deluxe 2009 antivirus software on it.
I was able to play youtube and open the website but last 3-4 days every time i try to open the website it say's "Server not found Firefox can't find the server at www.youtube.com...". every other website is opening fine i tryed IExplorer, google chrome and it's the same, scaned for malware, no problems in hosts file, cleared cookies, fixed registry with CCleaner, and still have the problem. My pc info: Win 7 ultimate 32-bit SP1, intel pentium dual cpu E2200, 2.0GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT, with avast anti virus.
i have a dell inspiron 1525 laptop,Operating system s windows vista 32-bit.I am not able to connect to any wifi network.
Even if i enable the switch on the side of the laptop, blue light s not enabling and wifi s not getting enabled(Fn+F2) s also not working.even after installing dell quickset ,its not working.
After opening my laptop one day, i realise i can't find any networks. There are usually multiple connections available, be they my neighbours' or mine, but i'm unable to even find them. I'm not given the option to connect wirelessly, but only via cable. I'm not sure whether it's a hardware problem or there's something up with my software.I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1525 which is running on Windows 7 - 32bit.
When i turn the laptop on at first it seems normal and it says i have an internet connection, but when i try to go on the internet it just puts up a blank white screen. It then tries to load a webpage and either freezes completely and the whole screen goes black or times out after about 10 minutes and says:
"The instruction at 0x73F9D86A referenced memory at 0x73F9D86A. The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc0000185. Click OK to terminate the program"
I am trying to active a wi-fi hotspot I recently upgraded to with Telstra. The instructions are very simple, handy for me as I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers. So I've never used my wi-fi before. I know there is a button on the right hand side I need to slide forward to turn the wi-fi on. When I do this the computer makes a 'ping' noise, I assume it is acknowleding the Wi-fi is on? However, the button doesn't stay forward it sits in the middle. The wi-fi light doesn't appear to change either.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Windows Vista and recently I have not been able to connect to any wireless connection whereas before I had no problem. When I try to connect after a minute or so it says, "connecting to the network is taking longer than usual" and then displays the message, "this computer is connected to'the network' but does not have access to the Internet".
i just installed windows vista deleted old partion and when i try to install the adapters it wont open how do i get it to automatically once i open it...
I buyed a dell inspiron 1525 laptop. I am looking to buy a wwan card for the same. some wwan cards and where i can buy? I looked into some wwan cards on ebay but i don't want to end up buying non-compatible card.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. At home wired/wireless internet works perfectly. At school I have to keep the laptop, wired because the wireless signal isn't strong enough. I have a brand new ethernet cable and have tried others and for some reason my internet always loses connection after a few minutes. It works as soon as I unplug the ethernet cable from my laptop and plug it back in, but then fails again shortly after. When I try diagnose and repair, it says I need to reset the network adapter, and when I click on that option it starts working again for a few minutes but loses connection shortly after.
have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and when I revived it from years of neglect I have come across a problem that I cannot connect to a wifi connection.I know that in order for the wifi to be found the wireless in my laptop has to be turned on, however the light on the side does not switch on.So far I have installed drivers and even bought a new wireless WLAN card...And still it does not work. The laptop runs fine with wired connection but I want to use wireless?
I am having a problem with my Inspiron 1525. It connects to my home wifi network, but doesn't connect to the internet. The Windows says there is a problem with the router, but my housemates have no problem getting into the internet with their Macbooks. I have tried resetting the router (numerous times) and disconnecting from my network and reconnecting, but it doesn't work.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525. At first it stopped working so I tried to re-install Windows Vista. Then to get the internet working, I downloaded the Chipset, Notebook System Software and Internet drivers but I still cannot get access to the internet.
My Dell Inspiron 1525's hard drive died recently. I bought a new hard drive onine because my warranty expired. I installed the hard drive and a Windows Vista Premium operating system. I previously had Windows Vista Basic.
I tried to install all of my drivers, but neither by ethernet connection or wireless are able to connect. I ran the Intel PROset Wireless diagnostics and the hardware portions fails. The error says driver version does not support Intel PROSet/ Wireless.
The wireless card does not show up in the device manager under network adapters. I still am missing a driver for the network controller but do not know where to fnd it.
When I plug an ethernet cable into the computer directly it says no connectivity and will not light up green. why it will not connect to the internet.
I have recently reinstalled the Vista 32 bit OS on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. The wireless card installed is a Dell 1395 WLAN mini card. I checked and the card and it is enabled. If I connect the internet cable it works. When I search for a wireless network, none appear even though other computers are accesing the router that is next to the computer.
I have completed all of my windows updates and have tried to download the driver, but cannot find the one for the Vista 32 OS for Inspiron 1525.Dell Inspiron 1525 service tag # <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy.
I'm using Dell Inspiron 1525. i just reformatted it because of some hard disc's problems. the first night after it is repaired, everything is okay. the internet is fast. but the next day, the internet is just running really slow, i dont even think i have loaded a complete page for the past 3 days, let alone downloading stuff.
well, i've tried most of the solutions i found online like turning off IPV6 and something else but the internet is still slow. and im using a ADSL modem, not a wireless one. the internet works just fine with other laptops. i called my technichian and asked. he said its the matter about laptop brands. every laptop has different.. i dont understand what he's talking about. so..
i used to have slow internet connection before reformatting but i thought its cause by my overloaded laptop memory, but now that it's reformatted i hardly have any software in it so what can i do?
My network device tree now shows three (actually two) drivers not working, as follows:
Tuerdo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface Driver
and, ISATAP Driver
It is my understanding that these are used to send IPV4 encapsulated IPV6 packets across intranet, and that I need to update the network card drivers to fix the issue. I am not sure if the drivers shown on the Dell site will fix this issue.
I am having trouble with my Dell Inspiron 1525 Wireless connection and many search results indicated to delete current settings and reload including drivers... Now it will not allow me to load the drivers... I have downloaded the
I have a Dell Inspiration - 1525 Laptop. I can't activate wireless network. I have seen a button in right side of computer, but problem is when I turn on the button the Bluetooth will be turn on and wireless not connected. How can I Connect Wireless net in my computer?
So just last night after about 3 years my laptop won't go on the internet and states this message when i try and do the windows repair.
It says its connected local only with only 2 signal bars. It says its connected to the home hub (BT) but then wont go that bit further and connect to the actual internet.
I have changed the wireless channel to 11 and it has made no difference at all. I have also tried to connect with a ethinic cable and the only difference it makes is it changed the signal to excellent but still wont connect to the internet!
This is defineteley a problem with the laptop as we have two other laptops and an ipad connected to the home hub which are all working fine. Also i have got BT to check the connection and its all ok. (Inspiron 1525)
Connectivity has been intermittent the last few months and now none at all. Laptop can see the router but can't connect. Tried connecting via hard-wire to the router but no connectivity 2) tried downloading a driver update but resulted in a message saying "software can't be installed hardware doesn't exist". Check of the adapter through the device manager shows "device is working properly". Have two other dells on the same router and neither have any connectivity issues.
PC is connected through the router to the internet connection but internet cannot access the video from the YOUTUBE my pc operating system is Microsoft Windows Professional (5.1, build 2600) and processor is intel(R) pentium(R) 3.20GHz.
I had to Reinstall my windows Vista OS. My WNA was working prior to the OS reinstallation, so I am confused a bit. I have no idea how to reinstall drivers in order that dell gives me. I have downloaded the drivers from the Dell downloads section;however, I don't know what to do next. I tried to go to device manager and find network adapter, but it does not appear, only an "other" section with some ! marks next to them.
Have followed what you all have said and that problem posts more than ANY other about the Network Driver not being installed. This happens when you lose your operating and reinstall or up grade to AnyTHING other than what was originally installed, OR get the recommended updates from Microsoft. If you do happen to solve the problem the MS updates will disable it again. The Dell drivers they recommend for the NOW non supported WLAN 1395 Mini Card which was installed originally in all Vista Home installs is the Multi device A17_R174291.exe (89.86 Mb) AND it does not work---NOT SUPPORTED pop up at beginning of install. and naturally no disk prodived by Dell in original purchase package.
I have Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, which I bought 3.5 years back. The laptop used to work fine before. I just shifted home 1.5 month back. Previously I used to have the wireless router always close to my laptop, so I never realized this issue. Now the wireless router (802.11n) for Fibre optics internet is in the ground floor and my studio is on 2nd floor. In my office latop, which is a new one, I get 3 out of 5 signal bars and get 34-56 mbps signal. But my Dell laptop does not get any signal, but when it is closer to the router it works fine.
if I buy an USB network Adapter device which is n series and supports upto 300mbps signal, then will it improve the situation? If yes, then which devices are preferred and how can I know whether that new device is compatible with my laptop settings (as this is a bit old one) or not? If not, then how can I improve the wireless reception? I have tried with booster etc already. I have also updated the network adapter drivers.the wireless card I have is: Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN minicard?
I have 2 laptops (Inspiron 1525 and 1545) and was wondering if I can connect to my Dual Band 5GHZ router with this? I don't see the SSID in my wireless area on my computer.
Are my laptops compatible with a 5GHZ connection? If not, is there an adapter for it, how much is it, and it is easy to do?
Lenovo core2duo Desktop XP Pro works OK to internet when hard wired to router.Marvell 88E8057 network card with latest May 2011 drivers on XP. Both a gateway laptop and an HP laptop also work hardwired. When I use a Wireless Access point, it works fine with the laptops. However, when I use the Lenovo desktop connected directly by wire to the WAP, I only get "partial" internet access.I can ping yahoo, I can get a google page. But any "thick" content seems to be blocked.I can't play any youtube videos on the Lenovo via the WAP, or view websites with rich content.I get the youtube page, but it hangs on play. the laptops work wether wired to the router, or wired to the WAP. With any content including youtube.
Videos on other sites work fine but Youtube videos won't play when im using either of my routers. They also work fine connected straight to the modem, i've reset, factory defaults, uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. I've tried other browsers.
