Oct 20, 2012
I have a dell Inspiron N5010. Recently I installed windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and after that my wifi is not working. It was working perfectly with the same operating system previously but after the new installation the wifi sign from the desktop has disappeared. I install wlan broadcomm files for the wifi adapter but with no results. When I press the wifi button on keyboard it shows bluetooth device not discoverable.
my wifi adapter is not found for dell inspiron n5010...
i ran the system information and i got as...
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.C:Users agaraj>systeminfoLoading Network Card Information ...ERROR: Provider load failureC:Users agaraj>
i have inspiron N5010 laptop in which i accidently turned off my bluetooth adapter by clicking the bluetooth icon in they trayicons on left-side bottom of screen.
just joined but i had a virus on my laptop which i had to re-install windows 7 ultimate (not through a CD) so i log back in my laptop to find my f-keys aren't working and that i cannot connect to the internet without the ethernet cable , beside my network controller it has a yellow exclamation mark saying "windows cannot find the driver code 28"
im running windows 7 ultimate on a dell inspirion n5010
I have purchased a Dell Inspiron N5010 (with Windows 7). It works all fine but I need to know the MAC Address of the Ethernet adapter.
I have tried IPconfig /all, but it does not show my Ethernet adapter. How can I check and confirm my Ethernet card's physical address. I need to use a restricted LAN which requires me to know the physical address of my Ethernet adapter
my Dell inspiron n5010 network adapter none are working wired/wireless
Wireless: I'm able to see the networks but, not able to connect to it cant figure out what is stopping it.
Wired: Thinking I should be able to work with wired but it is not working either. I tried turning the wired option off (f2) but that is not working either.
I have looked up and down on the Dell community and already tried to reinstall wireless driver with no luck. I'm at the end of the rope. I need some other options to try to get this working.
I have problems with wifi. When I install windows 8 or Ubuntu wifi works fine, but with windows 7 even adapter not working.
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
Windows 7 can't find update automatically and wifi driver from dell support site closes installation without finishing it.I would stay with windows 8, but there is another problem. Radeon drivers not working same as wifi on windows 7.
My laptop is dell inspiron N5010 and I have win 7 64bit home edition , I had a virus called win32.sality or something like that , that made all my program stop working , O downloaded an antivirus , and some message asked me to activate some kind of firewall and I presses ok , the wireless network changed to limited connectivity , I tried to reinstall the wireless driver , nothing happened , later , the available wireless networks disappeared , so I connected the network cable to connect to the internet using ethernet , it didn't work as well , and after many trials with the wireless drive , it's name doesn't appear now in the device manager , it says network adapter and has a yellow ! next to it , there is also something called realtek pcie fe family controller and it also have a yellow ! next to it , so I tried a usb broadband stick to connect to the internet that should have nothing to do with any drives , it said that the connection can't be established
the network troubleshooting sais that there could be a problem with the realtek pcie fe family controller drive , and it used to say before that there is a problem with the (intel ...) which is the wireless adapter (but i don't remember its full name)
My service Tag No is <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>. I have installed win 8 professional (64 bit) in my Dell Laptop. It has WiFi & I can't to install the driver.. how to install WiFi driver in my laptop?? its also not getting install.
Last night my laptop randomly stopped connecting to the Internet. I have tried basically everything and nothing has worked. It is telling me that no wifi connections and available and it will not work with an Ethernet cord either. I am positive it is my computer and not the wifi.
i have just installed win 7 for my laptop model: inspiron N5010 and i dont have any drivers for it, how can i find drivers specially w-Lan drivers for internet
Ive had this computer for 2 years now. Last night the wireless randomly shut off, so i just figured it was the internet. But when i tried to connect to a different internet, i noticed that it said my wireless was off. So i figured that i just bumped the wireless button. I went to go turn it on again, but it will not turn on. I've tried hitting the button many times including using the Fn key. I can hardwire using Ethernet cable and it works, but my wireless does not. I have Windows 8 and have had it since it came out, so i know its not that. My drivers are all up to date and i have tried system restore.
I have a Dell Inspiron n5010. Earlier bluetooth was functioned properly. But today bluetooth icon is not displayed on the tray. could not find my bluetooth devices while searching also not able connect from my my Bluetooth device. I have updated the driver from Device Manager.
I've recently bought Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, however there seems to be one small issue: can't get WLan drivers installed.I'm using Windows 7 (64x edition). On Device Manager, under "Other Devices" there is an unknown "Network Controller".
Tried installing drivers from Dell Drivers & Downloads section (yes, used my service tag), but there was a problem with following ones: R252544 for Dell Wireless WLAN 1520 Half MiniCard. Result: "No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed." Half Mini Card
- R247430 for Intel Intel (R) WiMAX Link 6250. Result: "This software package cannot be installed on your system."
- R252283 for Intel Intel(R) WiFi Link 6200 "No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed."
All these messages appear right after running setup. Other drivers were installed successfully and in the right order.
I have recently purchased a new HUAWEI wireless modem. This lovely little device will connect beautifully to my iPad, to all the Acer computers at work, to my Samsung mobile phone. It will not however successfuly connect wirlessly to my Dell Inspiron N5010.
I plug it in via a USB port and can connect to the internet that way. If I unplug the USB cable the computer says I am connected but when I try to access a webpage the browser says I am not connected. In the bottom right of my screen my computer says I am connected. This is most confusing and frustrating. I took the computer to work and had the IT department look at it but they had no answers for me.this same computer has recently been connecting to a different wireless modem so I am at a loss.
I have a new problem with my dell inspiron n5010 laptop. I use windows7 32bit already and I didn't have any problem with that (Bluetooth), but now I use windows7 64bit and install all update drivers successfully and my Bluetooth working but after 1 day or shorter my Bluetooth not working although It is installed on my laptop and I can see it's Icon in system tray and I see in control panel and device manager that is Installed on my laptop successfully and all Bluetooth setting is checked and It is OK and also I can receive file from other device to my laptop but I can't send, because I don't have Bluetooth Icon in right-click (send to). If I reinstall the Bluetooth driver It works 1 day or shorter again! and after it don't working again! I reinstall my windows7 64bit again and again and install all drivers successfully again but this problem appear all the time. I am sure my drivers are last version and up to date. how can I solve this problem and see Bluetooth choise in Right-Click when I want to send a file. Note that I can receive files but I can't SEND!
i have a laptop of dell which model type is inspiron n5010,and i have installed the xp in it.when i plug the Hawaii 3g dongel in my laptop, laptop shows the message that this device is unavailable or disconnected?
Recently got my Inspiron 5010N, only issue Im having is using the built in wireless hardware. I can browse and find networks, I just cant connect to any. My home network is now open and unencrypted (running G), but it still wont connect. However, I installed a USB wireless adapter, and I can connect without issue. So I dont think its a firewall, etc. I think its something with the built in adapter...
After checking out the device manager, it looks like the laptops using a "DW1501 WLAN Half-Mini Card". I went to the downloads page through dell.com to update my drivers, but Im still having issues.Im running Windows 7 64 bit.
I did not get the bluetooth software for my inspiron n 5010 in 'drivers and download ' for windows 8,so what should i have to do to get this .
I have purchased and installed windows 8 (not got with windows 8) ,i am trying to install R226746 in my laptop but it is showing that "the program has compatibility" issue, send me a link of compatible bluetooth driver for windows 8. (my laptop is Dell Inspiron Intel N5010)
i have a Inspiron 15R (N5010) laptop and I have problems connecting with my wifi connection. i'm not able to find any network connections available but there are plenty in my building and i cannot connect to my network using my friend's laptop. I have turned on the wifi button which is placed on top of the keyboard on one of my function keys, i have noticed an exclamation mark next to my wireless adapter in the device manager menu and it says the device is not working properly. I dont have an ethernet cable so i cannot connect to the internet.
I own a DELL Inspiron N5010 laptop.I use Reliance net connect in order to connect to the internet.I don't have any external devices connected to my laptop other than the USB data card.I have a smart phone and a tablet for which I need a WiFi connection in order to access the apps.
I think that N5010 has an inbuilt wireless adapter. Can I turn my laptop into a hotspot,so that I can access WiFi @ home for my other gadgets.I even downloaded a driver from the Dell support (Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 ) and also tried to set up a wireless connection using adhoc.I can see my connection listed in the system tray, but the connection says "WAITING FOR USERS".
I have a Inspiron N5010 and I am having issues getting a consistent network connection. This is occurring over Wireless and Ethernet. I have tried new drivers for both the wireless and the LAN devices. We have tried this over a direct wall jack(known good) and a VOIP phone(also known good jack). We are having issues with SSL and IPSEC VPN as well but im not certain they are completely related as they VPN is at his home and the network issues are at the office.
After installing Win7 Ultimate 32Bit on my inspiron n5010 i installed all drivers and components are working properly but one of the devices have problem because i cant find any drivers for it. that device is " PCI Simple Communications Controllers" and it marked in Device manager with yellow symbol and the Update Driver button in Device manager does not work for this.
