Dell :: N5010 Wireless Randomly Disconnecting And Failing

I've had a N5010 laptop from a few years without many problems, using Win7 60b. Just a few days ago the wireless connection started failing saying there is no network available and that "there was a problem", what I had to do is right click the icon on the task bar, select the troubleshooting option that windows offers to fix it automatically, and after a minute or so the wireless is activated and working again, but just for a while since it lasts about 3~20 minutes and the problem starts again.
Other devices (like phones or other laptops) don't have this problem, so it's not a router issue.I've tried updating windows, re-installing the official drivers, rebooting the system, etc. I've also discovered that ethernet connection is just not working, as if it weren't there. There is no device shown on the windows device manager for ethernet.

Backup failed on 2012/06/03 at 22:02:52. REASON: Unable to proceed with the backup operation as some files are being accessed by jobs. Reschedule the jobs such that the backup job does not coincide with other jobs.
Randomly the backup for lms 4.2 is failing. it has suceeded but majority of the time its failing. i have tried changing times but nothing seems to work. previously we were running 4.0.1 and had noproblems with the backup time.

My new router has started to disconnect for a second or so from the internet then reconnect. I have been unable to see the issue and changing the frequency was unsuccessful. This has also been happening when connecting both wired and wirelessly

I have a physical server running behind the ACE module ACE20-MOD-K9. The Server has several virtual machines. One of that virtual machines, has a WEB SERVER running virtual https servers. For example, server with IP address 10.0.0.20/24, has serveral virtual HTTPs servers as of urll... So, if you nslookup the servers, they all respond with 10.0.0.20 IP address. So if I do url...goes to 10.0.0.20 and read the VIRTUAL SERVER config and replies back to the request.Now, I am trying to verify that the TCP connection (443) and the HTTPS server itself is up and running but only for the url... site and not for the other 2.The problem that I am facing is tha the HTTPS probe fails randomly. The TCP probe works fine.

It's plugged in via an Ethernet Cable from a Homeplug Adapter, since the modem is not in the same room as me. Basically, I've been having problems with the internet randomly disconnecting and for no reasons. There's some days where it'll go fine, no problems at all, other than a few things that always disconnects it, then there is days like today, where it keeps connecting every time I try to go to a webpage. I cannot seem to upload anything to the web (Youtube, Mediafire, etc.) without the internet disconnecting before it uploads. The only other problem that I've had constantly, even if it is working fine, is I cannot seem to do a video call on Skype or really use my webcam to broadcast online without my internet disconnecting. Also, when I play games via Steam such as TF2, Call Of Duty, etc., I have no problem with the internet at all, it works smoothly and never crashes when I play games. And the desktop is the only thing that ever has this problem. We have 1 other desktop, and 3 laptops (all connected wirelessly) and they do not disconnect from the internet at all. This has been going on for quite a while, and I'm still not certain on what is triggering it.

My internet will disconnect and reconnect randomly, nothing works every time to fix it, the time online and offline is random, sometimes it works when i turn on the computer, sometimes it doesn't , sometimes it stops after a while, sometimes restarting works.
I am running Windows XP on a desktop computer with the most current service pack installed and I have a linksys wireless router installed in the computer. I know the router isn't linksys, I think it may be netgear. I have no way of connecting wired to the router. My bf's laptop running windows 7 is used wirelessly in the same room as my desktop and rarely has any problems connecting. I should mention that this problem also occurred on this computer while living in other locations and using different routers, but it was never this sporadic. It was best when used in conjunction with the linksys WRT54G router.
I realized today looking at the status of the wireless network connection that the network name and signal strength will disappear and reappear randomly, all while still saying I am connected and that I have sent and received packets, and sometimes randomly changing connection speed as well. Sometimes an alert bubble will pop up saying that my internet connection is connected and that I have excellent signal strength, with varying speeds, but the internet still doesn't work. Or sometimes it does work. How to access it.

Ive had this computer for 2 years now. Last night the wireless randomly shut off, so i just figured it was the internet. But when i tried to connect to a different internet, i noticed that it said my wireless was off. So i figured that i just bumped the wireless button. I went to go turn it on again, but it will not turn on. I've tried hitting the button many times including using the Fn key. I can hardwire using Ethernet cable and it works, but my wireless does not. I have Windows 8 and have had it since it came out, so i know its not that. My drivers are all up to date and i have tried system restore.

For the past few months my router has been randomly disconnecting me and everyone who is connected to the router from the internet from anywhere between 10 seconds and 1 min and i can't seem to figure out what has been causing this. It can happen multiple times a day or it can go for a week without happening. it makes playing online games extremely annoying.

I'm no good with computers, or anything like that; but this since about two days ago, my internet has been cutting in and out. One minute it will work fine, then a few minutes later it will disconnect, and then reconnect a few minutes later.I noticed that the globe symbol on my router either flashes when this occurs, or the power button turns orange. Why this is happening, and why it is happening all of a sudden ?

my Dell inspiron n5010 network adapter none are working wired/wireless
Wireless: I'm able to see the networks but, not able to connect to it cant figure out what is stopping it.
Wired: Thinking I should be able to work with wired but it is not working either. I tried turning the wired option off (f2) but that is not working either.
I have looked up and down on the Dell community and already tried to reinstall wireless driver with no luck. I'm at the end of the rope. I need some other options to try to get this working.

I have recently purchased a new HUAWEI wireless modem. This lovely little device will connect beautifully to my iPad, to all the Acer computers at work, to my Samsung mobile phone. It will not however successfuly connect wirlessly to my Dell Inspiron N5010.
I plug it in via a USB port and can connect to the internet that way. If I unplug the USB cable the computer says I am connected but when I try to access a webpage the browser says I am not connected. In the bottom right of my screen my computer says I am connected. This is most confusing and frustrating. I took the computer to work and had the IT department look at it but they had no answers for me.this same computer has recently been connecting to a different wireless modem so I am at a loss.

Recently got my Inspiron 5010N, only issue Im having is using the built in wireless hardware. I can browse and find networks, I just cant connect to any. My home network is now open and unencrypted (running G), but it still wont connect. However, I installed a USB wireless adapter, and I can connect without issue. So I dont think its a firewall, etc. I think its something with the built in adapter...
After checking out the device manager, it looks like the laptops using a "DW1501 WLAN Half-Mini Card". I went to the downloads page through dell.com to update my drivers, but Im still having issues.Im running Windows 7 64 bit.

We are using Cisco router (1941W model) and our the WAN interface keeps going down randomly (sometimes happened twice within 1 hour, sometimes worked fine for 2-3 days before getting disconnected). After getting disconnected, if we unplug the cable that connects our router to the fiber terminal and then plug in back, everything works fine immediately.
We had asked our Internet Provider to come 3 times to check the network line, renew the fiber terminal and do some investigations, they said there should be no issue on their side. If it's true then there must be something wrong with the router.
We also enabled ip accounting on the router and saw very low rate of small packets coming to WAN interface.
During the downtime, LAN interface still worked fine.

A couple of months ago my internet (Insight Broadband) began to randomly disconnect and reconnect, and recently it has become more frequent (every 5-10 minutes). I connect to my internet wirelessly through a linksys router. It's not my laptop because our desktop and xbox experience the same frequent disconnects and reconnects. I've tried the dns flush with no success. Ive also changed the wireless channel to 1 to prevent any interference. Also, our linksys router is about 4 years old, which could be the cause, but I'd like to eliminate all other possibilities first. And finally, every time i click diagnose connection I receive the error " Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding.
And just recently our internet has become very slow (youtube videos taking longer to buffer with many pauses). I eliminated the possibility of my router itself being at fault as when I plugged my xbox or laptop or desktop directly into the modem the same frequent disconnects and reconnects occurred. Here's a copy of my ipconfig /all: [code] Also, sometimes when I diagnose the connection I don't get this error but the random disconnects and reconnects still occur.for the past couple of days or so I'm no longer getting the first error message about a DNS server, however the disconnects are still occurring as often.

Recently I have bought Dell Inspiron 15R-N5010 DOS based laptop and installed Windows 7 OS from the dealer's shop from where I have bought.
Problem is that I'm not able to access internet via Wireless connection (but with Wired connection can access internet).
url... that install broadcom driver i.e. broadcom_wlan_5603506 but still the problem is not solved(after installing broadcoam driver) and I cannot see wireless network adaptor in Network and Sharing(in Control Panel) only Realtek and Bluetooth PAN adaptor is there.I tried to install :
- R252544 (Dell Wireless WLAN 1520 Half MiniCard) gets following error "No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed."
- R252283 (Intel(R) WiFi Link 6200) gets following error "Software is not compatible with the OS"
- R247430 (Intel (R) WiMAX Link 6250) gets following error "Software is not compatible with the OS".

I installed the drivers that came installed on the PC.
I looked at the settings and confirmed that they were correct per my internet provider.
Enernet works and I can hook up using cable. But the PC used to auto detect all wireless connections available. Now it detects nothing.

I have a pair of ASA 5520s configured in failover mode that also acts as VPN endpoint for about 25+ site to site ipsec VPNs. Of the 25 sites, 2 sites consistantly are having VPN issues while the other sites never have this issue.
For example, at a branch office the network is 192.168.1.0/24, and at the headquarter the ASA has an interface with network 192.168.254.0/24. VPNs are setup to tunnel all traffic destined to the headquarter network 192.168.254.0/24 and a couple of other networks with public IP addresses not directly connected to the ASA.
When the issue occurs, I can ping anything in the 192.168.1.0/24 or the 192.168.254.0/24 range across the VPN, but I cannot ping anything in the public IP range. ASDM reports that the tunnel is up. Restarting the routers at the branch offices do not work.
So far, I have been able to resolve the issue whenever it occurs by doing the following, however this issue happening more and more frequently:
first, try killing the VPN tunnel and wait for the router and ASA to re-establish the tunnel, sometime that works. If that doesn't work, I would failover to the standby ASA. Sometime even that doesn't work, then I have to reload the standby ASA before I failover to it.
All these site to site VPNs are setup the same way for the same purpose (to tunnel ad/exchange traffic), and this issue only happens to 2 of the branch offices which are using different ISPs - I even switched one of the 2 offices to a different ISP and router recently - still have the same issue.
