I have to often enable the adapter because it has been disabled or when troubleshooting it resets the adapter. We have several other computers on our network that work fine. This is the only one with Windows 7. The router is Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0.

Nov 1, 2011When I connect to my home network, I get 'No Internet access.' I am running windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. I should also mention that my Xbox 360 won't connect either, but both of my friend's laptops as well as my phone do connect to our internet. Also, using my phone as a wifi hotspot works intermittently.
When I do ipconfig /release it says the following:
An error occurred while releasing interface Wireless Network Connection : An address has not yet been associated with the network endpoint.
No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected.When I do ipconfig /renew I get:

Nov 24, 2012I accidental deleted or restored my computer to an earlier point, but I think along the way the Network Internet access Ethernet Controller Driver, Network Controller Driver, Video Controller Driver was un-installed. In device manager, it says those devices aren't installed. I can't install them because the laptop has no internet. I can't seem to find the drivers for them either on intel. Once I connect the modem and the drivers are installed the computer shows that it has a internet connection, and I can PING websites in the CMD, but entering any browser programm, I can't browse and it doesn't conecct to Itunes store if I enter Itunes; which means that the internect conection isn't complete or something I have tried EVERYTHING but haven't been able to do anything! I can't get any other proof that the computer is connected to the internet than to ping adresses!

Feb 22, 2011i have a home network my dell netbook and dell xps desktop are connected to it, both are able to connect to the internet, my toshiba satellite for some reason won't connect. i think the wifi radio isn't working because there is an icon on the front of the lapptop with a picture of a wifi transmitter, and the amber light is lit for that. my router won't recognize it and neither will the other computers. it was working just fine to connect to the internet before i set the network up with the other two computers. the toshiba is the only one that has windows 7 btw, the others one has vista and one has xp. don't know if this has anything to do with it, but im stumped. i trtied to do it manually, but the router keeps saying the mac address is invalid, i get that from ip config.
