I have tried blocking his websites from the router but this blocks everyones access to the sites. How can I prevent just him from accessing these sites through the router without interfering with my elder kids acess to the sites? Also i would like to know how to block all proxy servers as he is always using these to bypass my restrictions.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having some challenges on my DMZ network.My servers and Cisco Switches in the DMZ are picking the mac address of the Firewall(Cisco ASA).I have put some static arp entries on the Firewall and switches but the servers and users on the DMZ are still receiving the mac address of the Firewall.How can i stop the Firewall from changing the mac addresses of the devices on the network.My ASA is a 5520 and i have 2960Switches.

They were inquiring about the AIP/ASA, and since this would NOT work in their current setup, would getting a pair of 5510/AIP configured for transparent failover work placed in front fo the existing units? Would I need to have a switch placed between the AIP and CSC ASA's? Or would I setup the ASA's for context based Active/Active failover to interconnect the ASA's to the existing units, but I still see a need for a switch.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to IT, and have been put in charge of managing our servers hile my boss is on vacation.We currently have a Sonicwall Network Security Appliance that handles our Firewall/VPN and have web content filtering set in place.I have a user who belongs to 2 CFS policy groups that we have set up. I've double checked with Active Directory, and he is a member of both groups.
This person SHOULD have access to Job searches/ and Restaurants,but receives a "content blocked" message on his browser.It appears to me that the settings in Sonicwall are correct, as well with AD member groups.
I am trying to connect to a Security-enabled wireless netowork. I have the key. My problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to enter it. When I try to connect I open the "view available networks"window. I see the network name and it shows a strong signal (all 5 green bars).

I just had comcast business class installed. They installed a SMC d3g router. It does not support nat loopback. I had a server installed and could not browse to it inside the lan because of this issue. I was instructed that I needed to set the the servers IP to the external address and open the ports to that. That worked, and I added an internal address 10.1.10.x so that I could see it inside the firewall. The issue that I am having is that since I did this, the server can not be seen by the macs and the mac shares don;t show up for them.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm currently reconfiguring an ASA5510 installation to a HA setup with a second 5510. The old 5510 has an "AnyConnect for Mobile" license which isn't being used. So we upgrade that one to a SecPlus License to enable failover posibilities and we bought a new 5510 also with a SecPlus license. When I'm trying to enable failover I get the message that my mate hasn't got the "AnyConnect for Mobile" license. I know for failover both devices must be exactly the same (at first i thougth that the AnyConnect license would be lost when upgrading to SecPlus). So now I'm wondering and searching for solutions to remove the AnyConnect license (because we don't use it).
