I am having a really important/big problem, 2weeks ago i try to upload in my deviantart,facebook,tumblr,blog etc..it worked great but on 1st june i got the upload problem.It take infinite time to upload 800kb.
I am using wireless internet. My isp name is tata photon+ LINK OF MY ISP
Uploading keeps switching from ridiculously slow to nonexistent. When it's ridiculously slow, it can take 5-10 minutes to upload a 100kb photo. When it's nonexistent, it basically disables my connection, and the only way to get it back is to reboot. It doesn't seem to matter what website I'm on; anything from uploading a photo to Facebook to trying to attach a file to Gmail does not work. It's definitely computer-specific, because I have a second laptop on the same network that uploads just fine.

I've not been able to upload anything on this computer now since about July that's more than a few kb. This has been since I reformatted the hard drive.That means:
1. I can't attach anything to an e-mail
2. I can't upload anything to fb
3. I can't upload anything to sendspace etc.
The problem is only on this computer. I've tried the router on another computer and I can upload on that. I have tried the following:
1. Turned off Firewalls.
2. Turned off Norton Antivirus.
Nothing. I am on Vista and there are no additional service packs downloaded.I have also tried the speedtest site. It is unable to do the "upload" test. Downloads are fine.
I reckon this is one of the most asked questions here. I couldn't solve this with the assistance of Google, so I'mma ask you guys:
So, yesterday, I reinstalled Windows 7, and installed all the essential programs like FF, uTorrent, Avast! etc.I put some torrents into uT Q, and I could download them like normal. But later that day, I noticed one download had halted completely and there was a red bar at the bottom(torrent is not available). I thought all the seeders had stopped sharing, and I started another torrent which had hundreds of seeders. Well, the same problem again.
I downloaded BitTorrent and Vuze but they couldn't download a byte either! As mentioned, I'm using Avast! Free as my firewall, and I have added uTorrent as an exception(although on my last setup uT was fine without doing any modification for Avast). I've also disabled P2P shield
I have 50GB storage on box.com and DropBox.So i just want to back up my files there.Web interface just sucks and offers no customization.Their desktop programs are only to sync, and dont do much to just upload.I dont wanna sync folders, i just want to upload files!

I can't upload on file-sharing sites , I have tried to upload on wupload.com , fileserve.com , ****file.com and other sites and I click to upload but the progress don't start only stay in 0% I have waited 3 hours to upload a music with 150 MB and still in 0% progress .
View 5 Replies View RelatedI made an html main page linked to other html pages on my hard disk using dreamweaver and I saved the images in different directories. all the html pages and the images directories are saved under one directory. then I got connected to my FTP host (which I registered) using filezilla and the connection was successful. then I uploaded the one whole directory containing the pages and images into the root directory in filezilla (when I got connected to my host there was no directories, only the root "/"). but still when I try opening my page by typing url..." in the browser I don't get the page I designed. I tried placing the main html page with its images on the main root in filezilla but the problem is still same. what could be the problem, do I have to do anything else besides uploading the files with filezilla?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have got a problem with my LAN connection. I can't connect to the internet anymore and I can't reach my router. I rebooted my router several times, but that didn't work. I thought my network adapter was broken, so I bought a new one and reinstalled the driver, but it did not work. My router does recognize my computer though. When I tried to boot in safe mode with network opportunities, I was able to connect with my router and internet. I can't use System Restore as I don't have any restore points.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI bought an ASUS P8Z77-V motherboard, an i5 3570K and a Corsair Vengeance 4GB card a month ago. I built it with a Radeon HD 5670 graphic card, CoolerMaster 500W, a Sony lightscribe DVDRW unit and an old HD 500GB. The PSUs fan stopped working 3 weeks ago and I didnt notice this. While playing games the computer shut down, and I quickly opened the case. The PSU was hot and I could smell burned plastic. A week after I randomly tried to start the computer and guess what!? IT WORKS! Then I realised that only the fan was broken. I took the PSU and fan appart and lubricated the fan. It spins like a charm but I think I lost a piece of it and now its loud as hell but it works. I thougt this story might have something to do with the issue.
THE ISSUE: My internet has been working like a charm untill a week ago. A week ago the LAN or wired connection stopped working. I had to disable LAN adapter in BIOS else it would try to connect forever and I couldnt disable it in Windows. I didnt bother to solve it since my motherboard has a Wireless adaptor, so I just connected wirelessly. Today the wireless stopped working. I figured out that I might have goten a virus? I formated the disk and reinstalled WIN7 x64. I install the drivers, and the wireless and LAN still dont work. I reinstall WIN7 once again. Still nothing. I remember that I have to set the IP adress myself. So I go to Wireless adptor - preferences - IPV4 - type the stuff in, and when trying to close the window it freezes. After closing it in task manager a message "An unexpected error has occured" appears. I have to close Explorer.exe too and then after 2 attempts I get to close the window and save normally, but still no connection.
We have a VPN setup for a customer between our shop and their shop 2.5 hours away. This is a Cisco 871.We had Verizon and the connection worked (still does) great! We had to switch providers as they sold to Frontier and were going to change our IPs anyways so why not switch to a faster provider instead.We switched to Charter. I have ZERO, NADA, ZILTCH knowledge of Cisco and I plan to keep it that was as they are way more complicated then they should be. Ill stay with my Sonicwall.....Anyways.... I took the config and did a find and replace for all the IP's, Gateways, DNS etc....I blasted that into the router and it took right off and connected up the VPN in a matter of 2 minutes. I was estatic as I knew I was going to sleep good that night not worrying about it..............Untill the next day at 11 am when I get a phone call from work saying the connection was down.
I go and realize that the router cant see the outside world anymore, therefor was obviously not going to see the peer IP address. I was dumbfounded!. To make a long story short I tried reconfiging therouter with the same file. I even redid the find and replace and resaved it to no avail. Still no go, no internet. All the proper IPs, Gateways and DNS numbers are where they should be. To test that its the config and/or something to far above me. I re configed the router with the old config and hooked it back up to verizon, it took right off and reestablished the VPN and was working.
I never had any problems getting on the internet before, now I can't connect. It says my signal is excellent, and that its acquiring network address. I have tried repairing the connection, but it doesn't do anything. I also get a box at startup that says:
Error loading C:documents and settingsall users application dataWindowsserviceManager.dll. The specified module could not be found.
I have had my Acer windows vista laptop for about 3 years but it has only been this past year it has stopped connecting to the internet, which means i have to use a cable to access the internet, but im pretty sure its not the ruter because my brothers laptop connects fine, and his is a very old laptop!

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have just purchased my wrt54gl two weeks ago. Setup was a breeze and it worked flawlessly until this morning when i noticed i had no internet. The ethernet light on my modem, when connected to router (Ubee 10C035 3.0/Comcast ISP) will blink 2-3 times then stop for a half second then blink 2-3 times and so on. Plugged ethernet cable from pc directly into modem and my desktop connected to the 'net fine and light was blinking normally(constantly) again. A few power cycles/reset of the Router to defaults but no luck.

Today my router stops working. There is no internet on wifi even on lan. I thought my ISP is the problem but when I plugged in the wan cable to my laptop there's an internet. I tried to switch off the router and when I turned it on, there's an internet for about 15 seconds then after that there's no internet again. I also restore the router to its default setting but it doesn't solve the problem. This is the first time it happens to my router. I'm not using static ip address
I have a Dell 1750 inspiron T4300W7 laptop which worked fine until one night whilst connected to internet via a 3 dongle it just cut off. I have used the dongle many times on this laptop without issue and the dongle still works on my other laptop fine. The Dell laptop now wont connect via any internet method ie wireless or dial up connection, it just says No network access. I run a diagnose and a message said ip address not configured.

OS:Win7 and ASUS Express Gate I am using the ISP for over a year and was happy but for past 1 month got issues.
The first service engineer came and changed the poer adapter, clipped the ethernet LAN cable. The AI NET 2 utility in BIOS showed the pair 1-2 and 3-4 are short. So second service engineer changed the cable, power adapter and router.
I hoped that things will get resolved but still the speed was slower so the enginner unplugged the LAN cable from my desktop and checked the speed in his laptop. He was getting 2.5Mbps. Then I checked in safe mode with networking and asus express gate but still got reduced speed from 500 to 600kbps.
I had a NIC replacement so tested with that also and got same reduced speed.
I just got installed a business class internet service installed. Got the 25/5 line and when I perform the speed tests I get well above that with the speed boost on the lines.When I am downloading large files I am getting a constant 22-25 down and when I am uploading files I get the 5 up.... But I can't do both at the same time.What happens if my uploads kill my download speed so if I am uploading a file and taking up my 5 up it makes my download speeds about 2-3.. Comcast is saying that this is how the network works and I just don't want to accept that at this time as I have other internet providers that don't work this way and I get a true up/down at the same time. Unfortunately at this location that I am dealing with Comcast is the only choice.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I've noticed a big speed drop in my comcast internet. I went from routinely scoring over 20mbps on speedtest.net to around 11. Also, the upload test fails everytime. On every speed test site I've been to, the upload test completely fails. I haven't changed a thing so I have no clue why this would happen, but maybe it might have something to do with the speed decline.
I have an old WRT54G router that I've had for almost 10 years and I was thinking that maybe that was the problem. So I tried directly connecting my modem to my rig, but for whatever reason, I couldn't get it to work.
I can build unbeatable gaming rigs and program like crazy, but I just do not have networking in my skill set. It confuses the hell out of me and always seems to be completely random. What I can do to isolate and resolve my problem?
Oh, on one of the upload tests I got the following error.
"Trial measurement failed. Client can't send/receive UDP packs to server port 8601".
I just upgraded my cable modem from the Motorola Sufboard 5120 to the DOCSIS 3.0 capable 6120. Provisioned it with Comcast and their "Blast" service (supposedly it caps at 16 down, 2 up).
I had, in the past, used my desktop via N-format wireless (DWA-525 N-format PCI adapter and DIR-655 N-format router) to do a speedtest.net test. I was getting 16 down and 2 up (as advertised). When I switched to the 6120, I did a speedtest.net test again to see what kind of gains, if any, I was getting. Turns out, I was getting 20+ down (nice improvement) and 1/2 Mbps up (a fourth of what I used to be getting?). Called Comcast. They "sent signals" (don't they always?) and claimed that it fixed it. My download speeds increased a smidge (about 22), but my upload speeds were still .5. Called Motorola, they had me do a few things and now I get 1 Mbps up and 27 - 30 down via wireless.
My download speeds are great. I'm content with that. If I hardwire from the cable modem directly to a ****py old laptop, a speedtest.net shows 4 Mbps up. So why do I get such a high upload speed when hardwired (4 Mbps), but a fraction of it (1/4th) when wireless? I'm not using any other devices to sap bandwidth (some are connected -- i.e. another desktop, my Droid phone, etc., but aren't actively pulling packets). And why would it go from 2 up (on my desktop via wireless in the past) to only 1 up (via wireless now) when the setup is the same across the board (as best I recall) other than upgrading my cable modem.
Since I get 4 up when hardwired straight off the cable modem, I assume my DIR-655 is slowing me down somehow. How to pick up the pace a bit? I've already tried the standard "power cycling", etc.
Oh, and the reason I go wireless -- my cable modem and wireless router are in my game room in the basement for my PS3. My desktop computer (and the wife's desktop computer) are two floors directly above it in our "office". Signal strength is "excellent" ... always has been. And again, pretty much everything is the same.

Our internet connection is connected to an ASA. The download speed is ok but the upload is very slow. we have been running some speed test from our LAN, and have been also trying to upload/download file.
Our ASA also have the IPS module. I turned this off but we've got the same result.

I want to make the laptop share its internet connection to the XP desktop but I haven't succeeded. The desktop has 3 Ethernet ports with one showing 3 computer connected together(same on the laptop except has 2 ports). I've tried connecting on all the ports but nothing happened. I googled a lot but the results I found always involved the XP having Internet but not the laptop. The computers cannnot even ping each other.
I did this before but both computer ran Windows XP, so I think it has to do with Vista.
