A visitor wants to use his laptop but I don't know the security code to get his computer to operate on my network. How do find that code and put it on my flash drive??
I have a new computer but I can't connect to the D-link internet connection because I can not find my security code. Can I find the code somewhere in my old computer? If not is there any other way to get it?
I have a 1Tb Iomega home media network drive. It normally connects via the network to all my machines (iMac osx, eee pc W7, ubuntu 10). But, something has happened, so now I can see the folders on the network drive but when I click on it (photos, videos etc), it says Windows cannot access \Iomega-0E10FDmovies
Error code: 0x80070043 The network name cannot be found
I have tried disabling the firewall in the router and the W7 eee pc, but nothing has worked.
I have an existing wireless working network with WIN 7 - 2 laptops, two desktop PC's. Can I add a security code/password without setting up a new network?
How do I save/copy all of the router configuration entries onto a memory/flash usb drive? I did not configure the router myself (out of town when purchased). I have already downloaded the manual for that router and I want to understand exactly what she (person who configured router) did and identify any mistakes she might have made. Once downloaded, I assume I can print out all configuration settings.
How do i find the network or security key? how do i work this thing? ive tried for 2 days on my own just not quite sure how it all goes.ive heard others say that sometimes the key codes are printed on the backs of the routers? is this true? if so, would it be under another name?

I am trying to gain access to Netflix using a Roku player, but I need the network security key, which someone else originally set up for me. That person doesn't remember the network security key. Is there a way I can find out what the network security key is, or is there some way that I can set up another one?
Basically, her Windows (not sure which version) is telling her that to set up a secured connection, she needs to use a flash drive for some reason. She thinks she is able to get online right now, but only through an unsecured connection.
I don't think a flash drive is needed for this process, but as I am not even sure what this process is, I'm rather confused. What exactly is Windows asking of her right now? Her main thing is just to be able to connect to the Internet securely and easily.
