Jul 27, 2011I am trying to hook up a wireless printer to my HP windows 7 PC. During set-up mode, the printer asks for a "WEP KEY CODE". I took the one off the bottom of the router, but printer is still saying that I FAILED the security check.

I have a wireless router AOpen AOI-893. It works fine on my laptop, but I bought a new handheld Cruz tablet and when I try to connect to WiFi , the only strong signal seems to be a "default" one. It asks for a password, which I'm unable to come up with. I've tried all of the ones I usually use, plus 1234, admin, etc. No luck. Either I'm barking up the wrong tree entirely by trying the "default" , or I need to know how to find a password. I'm a computer illiterate.

Feb 8, 2012I have reset and rebooted my netgear wireless router. it told me set up was successful yet even though it tells me I am connected I still am unable to access the internet. It also shows an exclamation over my connection bars. How can i fix this? This all started when I was trying to access my router from a new laptop. I could not remember my security key. I reset and erased what I had stored. Have made a new but still no internet access.
