View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently deleted Speed Bit Video Accelerator manualy, because it couldn't uninstall itself. After deleting it, Windows 7 wouldn't display web pages in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. I'm currently posting this message in my old Windows Vista laptop, so it's not my internet connection

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Dir-615 E1 5.01 works fine, daughters Iphone, laptop connect fine. My Droid Max android phone connects with no problem but does not load web pages or sites. Phone does work great at other wifi spots just not at home with this DLink. My last android phone acted the same way, cannot use wifi at home! Not a password issue cause it does connect and has strong signal.

Is it possible to display a user message when a user connects using the AnyConnect client, matching a specific dynamic access policy? Can the message be displayed when the action is "Continue" rather than "Terminate"? I can't seem to get this to work and wondered if there was a LUA function to do this.
We have a DAP which gives a restricted ACL when the user's anti-virus is out of date, and I wanted to notify the user to update their anti-virus and reconnect.
I have a compaq presario that will connect to my wireless network but when i open internet explorer or mozilla firefox the page will not load and says that the server cannot be found. i don't think the router is the problem since i have a separate computer that connects just fine wirelessly and a ps3 that connects to the internet just fine. the only way i have been able to access the internet with the compaq is plugging it into the modem with the ethernet cable but i want to connect wirelessly.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo have got fibre optic broadband which meant installing new network and wired/wireless router. Everything working fine except on one (vista) laptop which connects wirelessly but cannot get past the router to the network.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have wireless internet at home through a Belkin router. It used to work fine but one computer wouldnt connect. I tried checking the security password on my laptop and ever since it won't connect. (However, now the other computer does!) It picks up the signal from the router but just won't connect. When I run ipconfig I get a message saying Media Disconnected. I've searched forums and can't find an answer to this. The laptop still connects to the wireless internet in my office so the wireless capability obviously still works.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue connecting to my wireless router. I can connect fine with security disabled, but it doesn't connect if I enable WPA. It says there's a "timeout" issue when I try to connect with WPA enabled. No one else is having issues connecting with their laptops and smartphones, so it must be a problem with my computer. [code]
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter a couple of hours using the internet, the connection stopped. The wireless router still had an 'Excellent' signal, but it also said I had no internet access. All of the other wireless devices in my house connect to the internet perfectly, including when right next to the laptop.I've tried disabling the firewall and resetting the computer a few times, but nothing seems to pick up the internet access. The troubleshooting guide tells me that it is a problem with the wireless modem, but quite obviously that isn't true.
View 4 Replies View RelatedTitle basically sums it up. Whenever my laptop connects to the wireless network in my house, it becomes unusable since nothing can no longer load. I have done a full virus scan and all, found no viruses, adware, spamware, etc. I also downloaded a program to check what programs are using bandwidth but nothing seemed out of the ordinary or enough to completely stop the Internet
View 1 Replies View RelatedOur entire office runs on wireless connections (laptops, printers, desktops, etc) and we have little to no connectivity issues considering. However, we just purchased a new dell laptop. the laptop connected but within 5 seconds immediate loses the connection and reconnects, disconnects, etc.. This is continuous. All other devices, 2 other never-before connected laptops and a tablet have all sucessfully connected without issues...only this new dell laptop does it. The laptop connects and stays connected to all other wifi connections we have tried it with (other corporate wifi and home wifi's). Dell has replaced the wireless card to confirm there was not issue with that (which I was confident there wasn't). Our IT contact suggests buying a new $500 router, but that is a little hard for me to accept seeing that only 1 device is having difficulties (his other reason for this was his concern that he couldn't access something like the router's management tool, or something like that). New Laptop is running W7 OS..

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing connectivity issues with the wireless part for several weeks. The laptop connects to it, but it shows me that it does not have internet access.I also have a belkin router that I also use. So, when I have the connectivity issues, I connect to the other router. When I use the Cisco Connect application, it goes on for a couple of minutes and then gives the message "If you are not connected to my router SSID name you can't update your router settings".

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless router with my sky broadband account. My computer crashed and when I repaired it without losing files etc, it wiped the system clean.I had to go from Vista to XP as the pc never had a recovery disc with it.I have also recently upgraded to Windows 7 extreme, however the problem remains the same in that, the pc will not detect the wireless router. However, my dads laptop which I am using now, DOES connect to the internet.I have spoken with Sky support and after going through all the usual checks and tests, they have decided it is a pc fault.
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently my laptop has had problems connecting to any wireless routers.
Now and then it will connect but not for very long - 10-15 mins max, then connection will be lost even though the signal strength is strong. It sometimes connects after it has been asleep for a while or when it's been turned off.
A couple weeks ago my HP laptop stopped working. It would not boot and I had to put in the recovery discs to get it working again. Before this the laptop had connected fine to my home wifi secured with WPA2-PSK[AES]. After this problem tho it refuses to connect while it is secured. When not secure it functions fine and I am currently using it to type this post. I would have no problem continuing to use the wifi unsecured but another member of my household works with confidential medical information from home and is worried about the lack of security. I have attempted the trouble shooting tips on the support website already. My computer model is HP G60-235DX and the router is a Netgear N300 model WNR2000v3[CODE]

View 14 Replies View RelatedAbout a week ago my laptop stopped connecting to the internet for no apparent reason as it had connected just fine the night before. It's a Toshiba and the wireless router I use is a belkin. Every other wireless device from my brother's laptop to my Ipod can connect to the internet just fine. Even the PC connected to the router via ethernet cable can get online. I've tried unplugging the modem, resetting my IP address, directly connecting with an ethernet cable to the router, and resetting my router. My internet browser, IE, used to freeze up but I had a friend look at and he only managed to have it unfreeze[CODE]

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy older Inspiron XP laptop will not connect to internet but connects to router. Local business tech said it was probably the hard drive & wanted to install new hard drive ($260). I feel perhaps I need to update driver for wireless modem, etc. But since I cannot connect to internet, I have no way of updating (I'm using my newer Windows 7 laptop currently which does connect thru the router). Can I download a driver onto a flash drive & install that way? Also, is there a way I can test the XP computer by connecting directly to the router with a cable & if so what kind of cable do I use to check if it will connect? I'm trying to research any possibility of fixing this XP computer because it's too expensive to fix hard drive. Also, everything else works on XP laptop, except Norton which needs to update & cannot without connection.

I have restarted his computer, the modem and the router. We have disconnected and reconnected several times to the network for the new router but nothing works, the only way he can get on the internet with this router is if plugged directly to it with an ethernet cable. We have put the old router back up but I really don't want to keep using it, it is so old and I don't remember the password for it.
