I'm currently setting up two VPN 3000 Concentrators at two different sites to create a IPsec LAN-to-LAN Tunnel. I have gone through all the basic configuration guides on the CISCO site, but a LAN-to-LAN session is never created. I have enabled the logs on the Concentrator and it displays no errors at all - it appears the Concentrator is not even trying to establish a IPsec LAN-to-LAN Tunnel. After running through the standard setup provided by CISCO, is there anything I need to do to make the Concentrator try to create a Tunnel, or should this be automatic once all settings are in place?
One of the customers has deployed Cisco 7609S in their infrastructure for Branch/RO connectivity. When we tried to configure per-tunnel QoS with DMVPN for MPLS connected sites, we came to know that Cat 6500 and Cisco 7600 series routers don't support this feature.
Now, we are looking for suitable replacement of Cisco 7609S. I found a document for configuring above feature on Cisco ASR 1000 series routers, but it has many restrictions always.
We are now looking for
(a) suitable platform in the league of Cisco 7609S which support above feature.
(b) suitable technology replacement of DMVPN with minimum restrictions.
MY ISP installed one router in my lab.for internet connectivity they mail me steps :connect your Laptop directly to gi0/3 port to check internet connectivity with public ip 1.1.1.x and Gateway 126.96.36.199 with subnet mask 255.255.255.240 after connection I surprised because I am able to access only google sites like gmail, google search etc. but I am able to ping/traceroute all sites.from browser I am able to access only google sites only.In Router no firewall no such access list.
I'm in process of purchasing a new Cisco routers for our branches that will be used primary to enable IPSec virtual tunnel interfce with "tunnel mode ipsec ipv4". does the default IOS IP Base supports this feature? or i need to purchase DATA license or SECURITY license?
There are a few situations were I'd like to be able to use the locally configured account on a device but still have ACS in place.I want to complete this WITHOUT adding the locally configured account into ACS.I have tried setting the advanced option under Identity for if an account is not found to "Continue" however this causes the account to be allowed as long as a password is typed (any password, as long as its not blank).
We have 10.128.0.0/11 reserved for our internal company networkI need to use a /22 from the above for 5 new sitesI know that 10.128.0.0/11 means the first host is 10.128.0.1 and the last host is 10.159.255.254
I need to receive a 15GB file from a friend, we are using xlight to transfer the file,I dont know much about all this but i am unable to open his ftp server which is(ftp://10.10.xxx .xxx:21).I havent yet installed xlight, i paste this site on my address bar and nothing happens, it gets timed out, i am only facing the problem others are able to access the site........AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition | 4 gb ddr3 | 1 TB segate | Nvidia 9500GT(O.C)
I am going to hook my laptop directly up to my wireless router via ethernet. I will be showing them security, SSID, etc. My issue is when I put in my WAN and LAN settings. What exactly is the difference between a WAN address and a LAN address.I kept my Lan address that same as the router. 188.8.131.52.I create WAN addresses as 184.108.40.206 with subnet mask as 255.255.255.000 abut not sure what to put in for my gateway. Logic say 198.162.128. 1; however that doesn't work.I then configured my tcp/ip to reflect this. Although I can always access my router website, I cannot access any other web sites.
I have recently been having a very annoying problem with my internet connection. I am not able to connect to some websites: the sites that are unavailable can not be accessed on any device connected to my home network (wireless or plugged directly into the router). I know that the problem does not lie with the sites themselves, since they are working for other people, and I know the sites are not blocking my IP, because when I reset the router, the problem sites become accessible but other sites become inaccessible (on all devices). The problem isn't the router either: I've tried two, and the same problem has arisen with both. Moreover, I have established that the problem does not lie with DNS resolution. I have repeatedly flushed the DNS cache; DNS lookups work fine on the problem sites, but when I ping the given IP addresses I am getting some packet loss (not necessarily 100% loss). When I use a proxy, I can access the sites without any problem.
For a few weeks now, I couldn't open any long links on Twitter. I can only open short links which can be highlighted, then right-click and "switch to 'website'". For example, I can open this link, because it's short enough to highlight the whole thing and then rightclick:It opens like that because it directly goes to that website without going through the shortened link first. When there's a long link like this one it won't open, just bring me to a page which says:"Oops, Google Chrome couldn't find t.co"This was mainly on Twitter, but now I found out that none of the shortened links like bit.ly, etc work either.
I've been having problems for the past couple of weeks trying to connect to some websites. It is only SOME, not all websites. It will either say that it is taking too long to connect or that the website is experiencing problems.
So I had trouble connecting to some sites before like apple and such right? No big deal, just one site. Probably down. Then more and more.I got worried, then figured it was my ISP and went to neighbor to check. No. It wasn't. I ran home and checked my router, googled it before all my internet went down. I read something about UPNP being enabled and so after my internet was down, I went and checked, it was, disabled it.
I followed the instructions in the manual for checking and changing the MTU on the router. It didn't have any effect. When I take the router out of the system and go directly to the modem, I can get the sites.
I would like to know if there is a possibility to create 2 Remote access VPNs for 2 ASA situated in different sites and using only one PCF file.Is set up a tunnel between the 2 ASA the only way to reach the 2 destinations with the same PCF file?
My main goal i want to filter certain sites including facebook not to be accessible within the network and block all torrets including maliciuos site. I was advised to get Cisco ASA 5505 which i already got a quote. But now i want to know if is the ASA 5505 good enough for this purpose, is there anything additional required to succesfully overcome my main goal?
I'm looking to put together a solution for a customer that wants to "bridge" between their current office and a new office space they have rented. I know how to set up a site-to-site VPN between two sites with different private IP ranges. For example, site A is 192.168.1.0/24 and site B is 192.168.2.0/24. But is it possible to make both sites appear as a single IP block? This way, systems could be moved one by one without renumbering.I am guessing there might be a way to tunnel the layer 2 traffic and make it work, but I am concerned about broadcast services being broken. I am using non-cisco platforms so I am just looking for pointers on the protocols that might be used so I can do further research.
I using 881 cisco router and want to block secure sites. I am using classmap to block sites and accesslist to block secure sites. Now the issue is if i need to block youtube, and if doing tracert the IP of google and youtube is in the same subnet.
If i am blocking that IP, google is also blocking with youtube which i does not want. Need blocking youtube secure site only.I am also attaching tracert for both the sites.
I have two sites with a dedicated, point to point, LAN, site 1 has a Cisco 1700, LAN IP: 192.168.0.101; Site 2 has a Cisco 1800, LAN IP: 192.168.1.101.From site 2 I can ping the router on the other side: 192.168.0.101, but nothing else on that network
From Site 1 I can't ping the other network at all,Both sites ping fine to their respective local interfaces. I also noticed, when trying to ping site 2 from 1, the "WIC ACT/CH" light blinks, otherwise it's off.
Site 1 has it's own web connection through COMCAST, site 2 is set to route through site's 1 connection to go out. The only thing the routers are doing are the actual connection between sites, and in the case of site 2, routing web traffic to 192.168.0.100, which is a Sonicwall on Site 1.
This was all working just fine, for a long time, up until yesterday, when the problem I described started happening.
i have two links between two sites in my company. The second one is new and uses IPVPN connection. I am searching a way to use both of them. I don' t want to load balance. I want to send some protocols from the first link and some other from the second. ex. rdp from link 2 and everything else from link 1
I am having an issue with my computer that started today. Here are the basic facts:1. Nearly every internet site I try to visit does not load. Facebook and Wikipedia work, as well as ALL Google sites (including YouTube, Gmail, Google News, etc.). Nothing else I have tried to load is loading properly. 2. It could be a coincidence, but these three sites were also my Firefox bookmarks. However, I have reset the default settings for Firefox (including bookmarks) and these three sites still work and nothing else. Additionally, these three sites load in Internet explorer, so the problem isn't specific to Firefox. 3. I don't believe it's a problem with my router/internet connection because I have another computer on the same connection that's working fine (I'm typing this message on the other computer). 4. I successfully pinged other websites using Command.5. I suspect it MIGHT be malware/virus because I have no anti-virus/anti-malware software on the computer that's having problems.
Can't connect to sites such as this GamersFirst Forums -> International APB Reloaded Forums, unless I use a proxy site.Nor does connecting to the game works, either. But it works for my friends, apparently.I checked the router settings, no go. Turn the firewall and Norton on and off, and still the same. I even tried accessing on my sister's computer which is also connected to the same router, and it connects. Only my computer doesn't connect to some certain sites.
I have 2 sites connected via site to site vpn. Site 1 is the main site with a set dhcp scope. The second site (with its own scope, different to site 1). They are currently 2 domains with a trust. I want to make it just one domain. I want all users at site 2 to logon to the domain through a local server rather than over the vpn. Can I set upthe local server at site 2 with its own DCHP scope, so it can allocate it locally? If so, does it need to be part of the whole domain scope?
Certain sites on my desktop will not load. These sites include speedtest.net, twitter, battle.net ect. Youtube opens, but videos don't play. However some work fine, such as reddit. However, my connection is fine on my laptop. My laptop is wireless and my desktop is wireless.I recently got my desktop back from repairs, and it has a new motherboard, with a clean instal of windows vista. I installed all the drivers ect. It says im connected to the internet, and I can access some sites. I've flushed the DNS, and called my provider. They say nothing is wrong on their end.Oh, and after ringing the repair shop, they said to install adobe and java. Java installed fine, but the adobe site wouldn't load (lol). So I copied the adobe files from my laptop over to the desktop. Youtube videos now play, but it feels slow, considering im on a 30MB download connection.
I have a problem on my Google Chrome explorer that if for example I am going to [URL] so every time I am clicking in a link (no matter what... some friend's profile, or friend's pictures...) I see only the blue Facebook bar on top and that it. So if I want to page to load perfectly I need to mark the address and click enter, and then the page loads perfectly.
An I need to do this any time I am entering any link. And it's not only on this site. it's also some others sites includes Twitter.
I tried to see if the problem continues in other explorer like firefox and IE, but not... it works perfectly there!
I just switched to TWC from AT&T and one of my computers running Vista, via wireless, cannot open any inet sites. The browser appears to do its DNS thing, but it sits WAITING for the site then says it can't connect. I have 3 other computers, Vista and W7, and an Xbox that connect OK. IPCONFIG shows valid IP addresses, DNS and gateway. Firewall/AV is off. It connects fine via wire. AND it connects with no security on the router. The router is a Cisco E3000. The laptop is an HP.
