Unable to limit traffic on catalyst 3750 gigabit ports it has fiber modules,
I want to limit traffic 2mb per port
I have tried srr-queue and policier but it is not working and there is no ratelimit command under any interface, Applying policy to output is not supported of the interface

We are using Cisco 3750 switches in our environment as distribution switches.We currently use to police inbound traffic, but we need to find a solution to limit inbound traffic per IP.Something like this “Inbound traffic for each IP can be maximum 1 Mbps” This can be done having, one ACL and one class-map for each IP, but in my situation is not a practical solution, because we have more than 500 IP’s on that site.
Is any way to accomplish this without writing 500 ACLs and 500 class-map?
I have catalyst 3750 I want to controle traffics on every port I have tried Frame-Relay Traffice shaping and Quality of service but there is no support for these commands in the switch.do we have any way to limit traffic on every port in catalyst 3750 and 2960 switches ?
but we would need to assign such a policy via Radius during the 802.1x Authentication. different users should get differnt policies. We use Cisco ACS 5.2 as Radius Server and there actually is a field for that in the Authorization Profile Common Tasks Configuration. in detail, this uses the cisco-av-pair "sub-policy-In=<policy name>" attribute to assign a service policy to an NAS.
we found also two other attributes "sub-qos-policy-in" and "ip:sub-qos-polcy-in" for that. CCO says that "ip:sub-qos-polcy-in" works with Catalyst 65k [URL]
unfortunately this seems to not work on Catalyst 45k and 37k.
In the ACS Logs we can see that these attributes are attached to the Radius Reply, but unfortunately they are ignored by the switch.
it is interesing that when entering "show aaa attributes" on the Catalyst 45k, these attributes are displayd - so for my understanding the switch should understand these attibutes (?)
I try to enter the command "ip policy route-map" on 3750's interface. But the command doesn't appear. Why? Whereas I see several times that this command is possible on this switch. What I have to do to enter this command?
I have a simple design with 3750. I configured a route-map which define a next hop. I defined this route-map on a policy on a vlan interface.When I test some ping and a debug ip policy and it seems that my policy never match.Is there any mechanism that prevent the switch from using PBR? I think of CEF .
In our datacenter we have a 3750 stack with IP base image. I have enabled PBR and reloaded the switch. Show sdm prefer says i am using default template. The reason i want to use PBR is that we have 2 firewalls on the same work and want to be able to have granular control over which gateway out of the network they use but still be able to access all internal resouces accross wan and locally.
Created access list to identify traffic:
access-list 10 permit 10.2.3.59 (test workstation on vlan 3)
Created policy:
route-map TestASA permit 10 match ip address 10 set ip next-hop 10.2.0.3
Assigned policy to the user vlan3:
ip policy route-map TestASA
Results:It changed the default gateway to the above gateway but i could not access any resources on any other vlan, could not access resouces accross wan.

I am trying to do policy on the interfaces of my switch WS-4507R, below the configuration I used to shap the traffic to 1 Mbps. However, when I tested it the traffic excceded the 1 Mbps.

I have a client with a 3750x stack. We've upgraded it to IP Services. We have a simple PBR setup. One access-list to forward traffic from a specific LAN ip to another gateway on the network.
I go to vlan1 (default vlan) to apply the PBR and the command takes with no errors, but do a "show run" and it doesn't show up under the interface.
I go to vlan1 and apply a PBR that doesn't exist and the command takes with no errors, and is listed under the interface in the config
I can apply the PBR globally and appears to work, but we can't have it there based on other issues it creates.

When i trie to apply the "service-policy output 10 Mbps" to the interface, it says the service-policy output is not supported on the switch. Is this a software related isue ?
Here is my configuration below , i have upgraded my C-3750 switch IOS from IPbase to IPservices , after upgrading i have tried to apply PBR on my Vlan 4 and failed , when i am tying to apply route-map to Vlan4 the command was taking but i am unable to see the route-map when sh run , i am giving the command as "ip policy route-map TTSL" in my Vlan4 , below is the configuration.
In Vlan2 i have connected one ISP and Vlan4 I have connected one ISP , my local subnets are 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x , now i want to route the 192.168.1.x traffic from Vlan2 and 192.168.2.x Traffic from Vlan4 .

We have a metro Ethernet service, basically our WAN connection, that we use to connect 4 sites. This MOE service has a CIR of 200 Mbps, connected to a port on a 3550-12T running Version 12.1(22)EA5 at 1000 Mbps. We are exceeding our CIR at times during the day for short bursts which is causing the MOE switch to drop packets, which I suspect I am seeing manifest itself in some choppy VoIP conversations and dropped ICMP packets from our network monitoring software. I implemented policy maps to apply an outbound service policy to the interface connected to the MOE service, but I am not seeing any matches to the access lists or the service policy. I’m not sure if I am missing something or perhaps the IOS is not capable?
Below is the config for the service policy and some command output. Notice that there are hits on a statndard access list that is used for other purposes, but the extended access lists used for the class maps have no matches.

have 3 Catalyst 3750 in same stack, the IOS version is 12.2(53)SE2. Today we can not telnet/ssh to this switch, but ping is ok, and switch function is ok. I try to access the console port, it show "low on memory, try again later". After I reboot the master switch in the stack, the master switch change to another switch, then I can telnet/ssh to this switch. I check the Ciscoworks server syslog report, there are many MAC address flapping error message, and I beleive the MAC address flapping occured before several weeks. ( the G2/0/15 & G3/0/15 is connect to a VMware ESX server and the EtherChannel config mismatch with this Catalyst 3750 switch ) How to mention the root cause of the "low on memory" problem and what is the abnormal memory usage ( free memory percentage below ?% )?
my Catalyst 3750 switch. Following a power cut the switch no longer boots up. The SYST light flashed green but no POST checks are made. I cannot see any boot messages from the console port either. The switch was on a UPS but some thing may have damaged the switch.
There is a requirement to configure tacacs and radius on catalyst 3750X (version 15.0) where two vrf exist.Is therer a solution to configure "tacacs-server,host x.x.x.x vrf yyy" ?? I know it is possible to configure under the "aaa group server radius xxx" the command "ip vrf forwarding yyy".Is there anything else for the tacacs-server and radius-server command?
I have a network with a Catalyst 3750 as the main switch and then some Catalyst 2960 switches that are plugged in to that. I have a server running windows server 2008 with a couple of virtual machines running in Hyper-V. I created 4 VLANS listed below and gave the 3750 the following IP Address.I would like the 3750 to only be configurable from VLAN 40 but currently every VLAN can connect to it, I noticed in the standard web page settings there was a setting for "Management VLAN" but it was set to 1 and would not let me change it, I kinda assumed that was for the management port in the back.-Now the tricky part, I was trying to set up routing between the VLANs and so far I have only been able to get a sort of "all or nothing" routing to work. I can turn IP routing on and add two or more VLANs to the routing and it works fine. But what I was hoping to do is create a couple of "junction vlans" that would only route to one or two other vlans. For instance, I wanted to create a VLAN 100 that routed to VLAN 20 and 30 but nothing else. I also want to route VLAN 1 just to VLAN 30, and so on. I am able to do each one of the cases but only one, it seems like the switch only supports one "routing table" am I missing something or is this just a limitation of the switch?
I have a network with several catalyst 2960 switches and one catalyst 3750. I have created two VLAN and set up the proper routing and everything is working fine there. I have a client/server application that used multicast in the initial start up for the client to determine available servers, the issue is one of my clients is on a different VLAN then the server. I am able to route the multicast using MVR as long as both the server and the client are plugged into the 3750 by creating a static route, making the server a source port and the client a receive port. Unfortunately I need the client and the server plugged in to different 2960s. My question is how do I establish multicast routing between the two and perferably do it dynamically (always route multicast traffic from one VLAN to another).
I have been looking into this for a while and I can't seem to figure out why my 2nd vlan is not able to connect properly to the net.
My switch has 12 ports where my devices connects directly, they are all on Vlan 1 and they all work perfectly. on Port 12 I have a dlink router that is connected to a cable modem. the dlink router has an Ip address of 192.168.0.20
I created a second vlan (vlan2) and enabled dhcp relay on it. then I assigned port 9 on the switch to (vlan2)my laptop which is connected to port 9 seems to get an ip address fine and able to ping only some devices on my network (vlan1) and is not able to go out to the internet. I have some trouble with that policy-map on my 2960 or 3560 switches with LAN base 12.2(53)SE2. I want to use that feature to catch video traffic from webcams in laptops which can't send dscp values out of the box. This is my test config to check if the function is working: catch every traffic from my workstation for testing, access-list 101 permit ip any any, class-map match-all CL_TEST
1. I can't see any counters with the command "sh policy-map interface FastEthernet 0/1". Cisco tells that this command is not possible. But how I can see if the policy is working correct? 2. When I did the configuration I can't see any packets with dscp af41 on the out going interface on the switch with "sh mls qos int gi0/1 statistic" as I expected. After reloading the switch I see the pakets with af41. Okay for that moment. But.After that I changed something in the policy-map. Only "set ip dscp ef" for a second test.
Generating some traffic I see only packets with af41 as before I changed the policy-map. No traffic with ef on the outgoing interface.

So, I am trying to limit the bandwidth used by this vlan. The service-policy output statement works, the service-policy input statement does not. My test is to get on that vlan and go to speedtest.net. My download speeds are about 3.5Mb/s, my upload speeds are about 20Mb/s.

I was browsing the Software Adviser on Cisco's website to look for a suitable IOS image, for a 3750. The system displayed a couple of suggested IOSes. there was no mention of IOS 15.0SE version.Could the Software Advisor be not up to date with the current Catalyst IOS releases?
I have CISCO catalyst with VLANs (VLAN ID 33, 36, 40-53) configured. I need to configure port mirroring in Switch 3750 for NAC (Network Access Control). I need to Monitor all the VLANs. I have customer who has as Core Switch one Cisco Catalyst 3750 with the IOS c3750-ipbase-mz.122-35.SE5.I know that this image support DHCP Server configuration, but I like to implementate new vlans (approx 15) and I want to know if this switch support 15 DHCP Servers.
How to setup a port channel between a SG200 and 3750 and am having problems.
What do I need to do on the SG200 I have added the port into the lag but the port will not come up.
I spent half a day messing arround with the web interface and I am unable to get the port to come up.
