Cisco WAN :: Catalyst 3750 / Switching Branch To P2P Fiber From MPLS?

We recently switched two of our branches to point-to-point fiber connections to our corporate office. Previously they were using MPLS connections. For branch A, the ethernet handoff of the fiber is connected directly to a Catalyst 3750 gigabit port. That port has no configuration on it. The other end of that fiber is connected to a gigabit port on the 3750 switch at our corporate office. That port is configured with an IP address that is within the subnet of branch A, and is operating at layer 3 due to the no switchport command.
Branch B currently has a Cisco Express 500 ethernet port (with no configuration on it) connected to the fiber hand off there. At first we setup a port on the 3750 at our corporate office that is connected to Branch B via the fiber in the same manner. This resulted in us receiving DCHP leases at Branch B from Branch A. Obviously not desired. Now we have the port on the corporate 3750 that is connected to Branch B's fiber configured with switchport vlan 64. I also configured interface vlan 64 on that switch at corporate with an IP address from the branch B subnet. We then set that IP address as the default IP address for devices at Branch B.
We are having trouble with both an ATM and a phone system not communicating properly at Branch B. At Branch A we are experiencing the same oddity with the phone system, but the ATM is able to communicate fully. At branch B, when configuring a Windows Vista or Windows 7 laptop with a static IP address that is known to be available, you get transit failures when trying to ping. Essentially everything seems to be able to route fine, but some traffic even after a full tcp hand shake seems to not transmit properly.
When you configure a point-to-point fiber connection from a layer 2 switch at a location without a router to a location with a Cisco Catalyst 3750 switch as the endpoint, what is the best way to configure both sides?
Currently we only have vlan 64 configured on the port mentioned on our switch at corporate, and then the switch at Branch B is essentially operating as an unmanaged switch at the moment with all ports in vlan 1.
setting up MPLS on a single T3 line. A client has contacted us to set up a 2951 at a branch location. There are 5 locations connected with MPLS.They will split off 4meg of the T3 for mpls. The rest of the 45meg would go to the internet.They have two 1841's currently set up with a T1 line in each. One 1841 connects to the MPLS and the other to the internet.When the T3 is turned up by the provider, everything, internet and MPLS, will go through it. I asked for the current configurations, but I have not received them yet and this setup is due in a couple days.Given I've never configured MPLS before and I have a rudimentary understanding of how it works, any tips or configurations? I'd hate to be stuck on site and not equipped to complete the job.
I'm looking for Routing Design scenarios to complete our configuration needs for remote branches. We will have two 1921 routers in each location, one with a T1 from our MPLS carrier, the other with a DSL connection from an ISP. The T1 router will have an assigned AS and use BGP to router back to head quarters. The DSL router will have an IPSec tunnel back to an ASA 5510 at head quarters. I envisions a GRE tunnel from the DSL router back to head end routers connecting to MPLS at head quarters. Not sure yet how to manipuate the routing between head quarters and the branches such that the T1 router is the primary route to and from the branches and the DSL router is for failover/backup.
What are my best options to secure branch office connection to HQ over Provider MPLS cloud. Our existing Setup

I'm trying to upgrade some of the netwotk in my workplace.To do this I have istalled a 24port Catalyst 3560X switch.I'm looking to link it to my exsisting network via fibre.
I spoke to a local Cisco supplyer who recomended the above switch and an Allied Telesis Media converter.
I cannot seem to get the Allied Telesis unit to connect to the cisco switch.I have proved the fibre link by connecting 2 AT Media converters over the fibre.Do I have to enable something on the Catalyst switch or is the AT Media converter not compatible with the Catalyst switch?
We have a core switch with the following ios and supervisor engine. Can we add a16 port LR (x2)or LRM(X2) ON the core switch?if not what modifications has to be done?if an ios upgrade is necessary is it a costly affair?At present we have two 1gb up link modules in single and multimode fiber .

I want to connect a Cisco small business switch (sf302-8) to a Cisco catalyst 2960S over a multi mode fiber. The transceiver I am using in the catalyst is a GLC-SX-MM. I presume in the SF302, I will have to use a MGBSX1. My question is "are these transceiver compatible with each other and if not, is there a transceiver that will suit both pieces of hardware?
I need to confirm internet access from remote network through MPLS cloud to another site. Let me explain. We have a MPLS network with Wind stream as listed in the visio drawing; site 1 has internet access through the Time-Warner cloud for all users. Site2 has internet access through the Wind stream MPLS router. Site three has no internet access, and only has LAN access layer2 through Windstream routers to Site1 for networks 192.168.0.0/24, 10.1.1.x/24. My question is can we give everyone at Site 3 internet access through the MPLS network down into Site 1 using the Time-Warner ISP cloud.
I placed routes on the Site 3 3750 stack IP route 192.168.50.x 255.255.255.0 to the interface of the MPLS router at site3, then at site 1 we have IP route 192.168.50.x 255.255.255.0 to the MPLS interface, and able to ping all anything on the 192.168.50.0 network. I added the IP route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.50.x the MPLS router interface, we do not have internet access at Site 3 using Site 1 network.
I confirmed at Site 1 from the Cisco 3750 switch we can ping 4.2.2.2 = Google. How to confirm this will work and what’s required to complete this connection to give everyone at site 3 internet access through Site 1 Time-Warner.
we have multiple Video production networks, with Video servers (AVID Unity ISIS) connected by 10GE fiber links to 4948-10GE switches. On almost every of these switches, I see more or less "Sequence-Err" interface errors. We do not currently have a known problem because this, and no other errors are seen. But I would like to understand the error, and therefore I would like to find out, what a sequence error means, what the cause is, and what the impact (to a frame) is?
By the way, it is well-known that the ISIS Video server does generate very excessive UDP data bursts. Maybe this matters? On Cisco doc I did not find an answer. The document "Troubleshooting Switch Port and Interface Problems" does unfortunately not refer to "sequence-err".

I have a 6500 connected to 3750 using fiber connection using patch panel.on the gig port of the 6500 give of error in Input errors, CRC and FRAME.There is no error from the 3750 gigport.
We would like to setup a link to our DR site that is separate from our main network traffic. This link will be used by an EMC VNX SAN for replication traffic. The SAN will be plugged into a fiber port on a 3750 switch and going out from the same switch (going in as multimode, going out as single mode) into a patch panel that runs over to the DR site (about a mile away). At the DR site it will go from the fiber panel into another 3750 switch which ends up going back out of that switch into our DR SAN.
I'm wondering what the best way would be to configure the fiber ports to accomplish this. I'm affraid that the replication traffic will find it's way over through another route and congest our main network unless configured appropriately.
I'm looking for switches that support single mode fiber connections and would like to know if "WS-C3750-FS-S Catalyst 3750 24 100BaseFX + 2 SFP" and "WS-C3750G-12S-S Catalyst 3750 12 SFP" can serve the purpose?
I am trying to connect a SF200-48 switch via Mini-GBIC MGBLX1 fibre module to a Cisco 3750 switch with a GLC-SX-MM fibre module installed both running a 1000 Mbps. When connected together they do not enable. Are there compatibility restrictions or is it that the Mini-GBIC modules cannot be used to uplink to a LAN?
have 3 Catalyst 3750 in same stack, the IOS version is 12.2(53)SE2. Today we can not telnet/ssh to this switch, but ping is ok, and switch function is ok. I try to access the console port, it show "low on memory, try again later". After I reboot the master switch in the stack, the master switch change to another switch, then I can telnet/ssh to this switch. I check the Ciscoworks server syslog report, there are many MAC address flapping error message, and I beleive the MAC address flapping occured before several weeks. ( the G2/0/15 & G3/0/15 is connect to a VMware ESX server and the EtherChannel config mismatch with this Catalyst 3750 switch ) How to mention the root cause of the "low on memory" problem and what is the abnormal memory usage ( free memory percentage below ?% )?
my Catalyst 3750 switch. Following a power cut the switch no longer boots up. The SYST light flashed green but no POST checks are made. I cannot see any boot messages from the console port either. The switch was on a UPS but some thing may have damaged the switch.
There is a requirement to configure tacacs and radius on catalyst 3750X (version 15.0) where two vrf exist.Is therer a solution to configure "tacacs-server,host x.x.x.x vrf yyy" ?? I know it is possible to configure under the "aaa group server radius xxx" the command "ip vrf forwarding yyy".Is there anything else for the tacacs-server and radius-server command?
I was browsing the Software Adviser on Cisco's website to look for a suitable IOS image, for a 3750. The system displayed a couple of suggested IOSes. there was no mention of IOS 15.0SE version.Could the Software Advisor be not up to date with the current Catalyst IOS releases?

I have 3 VLANs here that need to be on the same network segment. They are going to be used by our Wi-Fi network (with Aironet APs), bound to 3 different SSIDs (as Aironet APs doesnt allow multiple SSID per VLAN), each one with a different authentication method and server.Is there a way to bridge those VLANs together with a Catalyst 3750 switch? I tryed configuring an IP address on one of the VLAN interfaces, then configuring a bridge with the vlan-bridge protocol (Catalyst 3750 doesnt have the "ieee" bridge protocol type) and put all 3 VLAN interfaces on the same bridge-group, but it didnt work (even with "bridge x route ip").I also tryed configuring IRB bridging, with the 3 VLAN interfaces on the same bridge-group and an IP address on the BVI interface (the way I used to do with old 2600 routers). Same result.(actually, I didint test to see if the interfaces are actually being "bridged", but I see neither of them can reach the router)
I am trying to use a SF302-08P switch to connect a conference phone (Cisco 7937) to my infrastructure. I connected the G2 port on the SF302 to a Gig copper port on the Catalyst. I configured both ports as trunked ports and port e1 on the SF302 as an access port for the phone. VLAN 1 is the default VLAN and VLAN 10 for voice. However, the phone does not connect to the Call Manager. I have changed the configurations on the G2 trunked port and the ethernet port (trunked ports, general ports, tagged and untagged). I have also changed the configuration on the Ethernet port (general, access, trunk, set it on the default VLAN, in the voice VLAN, etc.) The SF302 connects to the Catalyst, and PCs connect OK.
why the AutoQoS macro does not implement "priority-queue out" when configured on the 3750 platform running certain versions of software. The only other platform I have experience with AutoQos is on the 4500 and it enables priority queuing as expected. So what's up with autoqos on the 3750 on version 12.2(35)SE5?
When it comes to configuring QoS on campus user/phone access ports there are some important settings that can and should be considered but one can argue that enabling the priority queue is the single most impactful or important command. So I was very surprised and concerned when I didn't see priority-queue out. Cisco describes AutoQoS as a simple, quick way of deploying QoS on the LAN and it precludes you from having to learn all of the differences between hardware platforms. But is it true that this tool produces an incomplete config solution? Let me know if I am missing something.

Our servers are hosted at the Main site, site office A access to the Main site for Internet and servers. We are thinking NextG to take over when the link between sites goes down.
To start with, what is the configuration for 3750 at Site A and the Main site:
1) Trunking for both switches
2) Routing
3) the automatic failover configuration for the switch at Site A.
