I recently purchased a RV042 device but when I tried to set my DDNS account I realized that the only two providers are dyndns.org and 3322.net. We already have an account in no-ip.com and several services using the [URL] host.
How can I set up a no-ip account in my rv042?
After installing the RV042, we can no longer log in to our business bank account. My personal account works but it is a different bank. What could be causing this ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am just wondering if it is possible to have two user accounts in Cisco RV042 V3 (Firmware: v4.1.1.01-sp (Dec 6 2011 20:03:18). User accounts to mean that one user can access the router with an administrative level access can do all the changes and management of the router's configurations and settings while another user can only do viewing of the system summary tab and connect and manage the simple configuration to connection to the ISP in both WANs, like setting up the connection type and release/renew the ip address for dynamic ip assigned by the ISP DHCP server.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having problems with my RV042.I have a Intervoip(url...) account for VOIP.
When I try to register the intervoip account to the internet I don't get any kind of reply. My VOIP server just keeps requesting to register the SIP account, but gets no reply.
When I connect an other router to my ISP modem, the register just goes fine. However the RV042 blocks something I don't really know what the cause could be.I installed wireshark to monitor my network traffic.
When I monitor registering with intervoip with the RV042, I see requests but no replies from intervoip, the VOIP server keeps requesting, but doesn't get any reply.
When I monitor registering with intervoip with an other router, I see requests from the VOIP server, and replies from intervoip initiating my intervoip account and everything goes well and registers. The following I tried:
- Forwarding port 5060 to private ip
- Putting private ip in DMZ
- Disabled the firewall
All without result. (Also tried them all at once)

Whoever posted these pictures has stolen the identity of a guy that I went to school with. The Police are involved. I tried contacting Facebook multiple times, but I had no such luck. The AD policy is lockout after three attempts. Is there a way to fix this issue so the account is not locked out with only one failed attempt? I see options for local password policys in ACS but nothing for the identity store. For what its worth this happened also with ACS 4.X deployment before we moved to ACS 5.3.

One of our users changed his domain to a workgroup (made us rethink who has admin access on all our PC's) thinking that it would somehow fix the problem he was having with not being able to print anything to a network printer. Well, this promptly called for a restart and upon restarting would not allow him to log back into the user account.
This all makes sense to me as to why it will not let him log-in using credentials that he is no longer a part of due to security restrictions. But my question is how do i recover the account? In other words, how do I go about rejoining that user account to the domain that everyone is located on.
If all new user accounts are defaulted to join the domain, how come its not just as easy to move a user from a workgroup back to that domain?
Also, the machine is running Windows XP. It's critical that I get the old user account set back up because it was used for Outlook e-mail as well as several important documents/spreadsheets. I know that none of these files are lost as I can still navigate to them through the Local Disk. But really I would like to get the old user account working instead of having to copy/paste all the old content to a new user account in order to hopefully retain all old settings and configurations. tl;dr A user on our domain moved his user account to a workgroup and now is unable to login or access his user account. How do I move the user account back to the domain?
