You mentioned a "Notebook System Utility." The download page lists the models it is for. My Dell Inspiron N5110 is not listed. Do you think I maybe need this and they forgot to list some models? Should I not try it?

I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 (x64) on Dell laptop- Dell Inspiron N5110 . I did not rebuild it from the factory restore disc as that failed to work. The installation is complete. I am trying To get my Wi-Fi to work by pressing FN+F2 however it is not working, the Bluetooth icon appears instead which doesn’t work either.I have tried to look for the wifi adapter in the device manager, but it does not exist in the list.I understand that I have to install the drivers. Will that do the trick? I also don’t know what the name of the wifi adapter is, so don’t know which driver to install.
i have a problem in(dell inspiron N5110 ) wireless device. IN device manager (Dell wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n & bluetooth peripheral device in warning symbol) and i can't able find any wifi device.

I am having difficulty connecting my Inspiron N5110 to WiFi (I managed to when I first bought it last week through a different network but when I bought it home it didn't work).
When I try and connect, it asks for the key, which I enter. It then searches and says it can't connect to the Network. The WiFi Network then becomes unavailable and loses signal with all Internet connected devices then taken offline. The network then reconnects but the laptop still doesn't connect to the WiFi. Is there a setting I need to change in the laptop to get it to connect?
My Intel (R) 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller 1C2D and 1C26 not working as well. Both have same problem. They get uninstalled by their own and as an when i install them they are los
I have re installed my windows 8 but still got the same problem.I Use INSPIRON 15R N5110
I just formatted my laptop and installed windows 8 64 bit. The wifi was coming switched off. On checking from settings I was unable to switch it on. I installed the wifi drive from the resource cd but that too didnt work. Then I installed the wifi driver from [URL] Note: removed per privacy policy~RK>. Still the wifi is not switching on.
On removing the existing wifi driver from the laptop, windows somehow reinstalls in automatically.
My service tag is <Admin Note: removed per privacy policy~RK>

I have a DELL Inspiron, just 10 months old and ever since I have reinstalled the windows and I try to install the bluetooth drivers and wi fi drivers, during set up I am asked to press Fn + F3, it worked like before the reinstallation of the window, but now it is not working, the wifi or bluetooth does not get turned on, what to do now, how to cure it coz I really need the wifi service. Plus my laptop does not have a manual switch or button for wifi and bluetooth.
Recently I've noticed that Intel My WIFI Utility is not starting up after reboot. I reinstalled WLAN drivers (downloaded the newest version from support.dell.com) but the problem persists. Is there any way to start it manually?I'm using Dell XPS l502x, Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030, Windows 7 x64.
I am using a Wifi router at my home for internet usage and wifi of my laptop(dell Inspiron N5110) keeps disconnecting frequently. I tried many forums and solutions but still this problem is not resolved.
something is really wrong with my dell wireless 1702... speed is about 1-2 mbps...but when i connect the external usb wifi DLINK the speed is awesome about 30-40mbps.... dont know what to do...installed new drivers, new bios firmware... also new audio drivers... but nothing happens, speed is really SLOW.
I have just bought Inspiron 15R n5110 which has intel 1030 wifi. At first thought i can troubleshoot the problem with google and some driver update. but couldn't fix at all after hours of knocking doors in internet forums and users shared experience.though i bought outlet unit, i was expecting cosmetic wear and tear, never thought i might have unit unusable. i am completely depended of wifi for my daily activities and cannot go to room mates place for wire connection. is this problem only solved by changing hardware coz i have tried all the possible tips and tricks found in internet forums.
i read somewhere that the hardware will be swapped if contacted dell CS with different model. if this was only option why did dell managed to sell a piece of unit not functional. isn't this a bad practice.
My pc is connected to the ethernet chord at home. I can go anywhere else and connect with a wireless connection but I can't in my own house. Every time I try I get an error the the network adapter isn't found. The trouble shooter can't even fix it. Everyone else in the house has no issues connecting with a wireless connection. The wireless connection has worked maybe twice for me since I purchased the laptop (May 2012). Since I am more comfortable at my desk it's no issue but there is a new printer that I can't connect to because I can't download the driver because I have to unplug my laptop to go in the other room to get to it.
I had to reinstall Windows but upon reinstallation, I noticed that wireless does not connect. I tried pressing Fn +F2. Nothing. No LED light for wireless.
First I started the WLAN AutoConfig service under services.msc. After starting/enabling this service - nothing.
I searched the forum and found a post for Quickset. I followed the instructions given and restarted. When I press Fn+F2 the screen flashes the wifi symbol and my wifi LED comes on. However, when I go to connect to a wireless network - none can be found (I have connected to this network before and know that it works). I searched support and navigated to Manage Wireless Networks. I click on the Add button and get the following message:Windows cannot detect any wireless network interfaces.
ive read some of wat u said but my problem is that my wifi network goes well working then it goes to limited access when i try to fix it the screen freeze and i have to shut it down and then turn on....then it goes well working....idk wat is causing it to do so...sometime it does it every month or so and sometimes 5 times a day!
recently I bought a Dell Inspirion N5110 notebook. After I installed windows 7 X64, i have problems with bluetoth.
I installed all drivers from dell drivers home. In device manager my bluetooth card is installed but with an exclamation yellow sign. on driver properties I see a windows error 43 message. (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)).
I am using N5110 15R. I am trying to connect my Nokia E71 via Bluetooth, they both get paired but when drivers ty to install in my p.c only imaging and Bluetooth modem driver install successfully but other 4 or 5 drivers not found every time. it says peripheral driver not found even through windows update center also.
I have tried to connect my Nokia with Dell N5010 15R and it install all drivers successfully.
I have an XPS M1330 with an internal Dell Mobile Broadband Mini-card 5720 VZW for Verizon. The Dell Mobile Broadband Utility (DMBCU) now reports an APPCRASH upon launch only when Windows Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) is installed. I'm certain it is due to IE8 and probably the required MeadCo Zeepe add-ins that are required for dmbcu.exe functionality. Upon uninstallation of IE8, the dmbcu.exe works flawlessly.
Is there any update or plan to update the DMBCU for the 5720 VZW minicard?
My laptop's wireless network adapter is not working Eventually I managed to re install the driver but that did absolutely nothing and now it won't connect unless I have the ethernet cable plugged in. It also no longer will tell me there is a problem with the adapter, it just refuses to bring up any wireless connections. My laptop is a Dell N5110.
My computer will notice my Wireless router, but will keep cycling and saying "no internet access", yet it comes up with full bars of connection.I've tried re-installing Wireless drivers and that didn't work. My wireless internet is working on my Mac, iPhone, iPad & Mums laptop.I am using a Dell Inspiron 15r N5110.I am typing this is off my Laptop using my Personal hotspot from my iPhone
Wireless not connecting Dell Inspiron N5110 to router.Dell Inspiron N5110 quit connecting last night about 8 PM while I was online. Both iphone and our other Dell operate wirelessly fine. N5110 works fine hooked to router with ethernet cable.
