Nov 8, 2009I upgraded to Windows 7 today and got the message "Your Bluetooth Software license does not include use with this Bluetooth device ." I can see the 590Plantronics in the "Bluetooth Headset Operations and Settings" window but it would not connect.
I looked for and installed the latest driver for Windows 7 on the Dell driver downloads site "Widdcomm Bluetooth Software 6.2.0.9600". When it installed it gave a "Device unplugged" message for four instances of "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" but despite a "Ready to use" message for "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio" the overall message is "Device did not install properly" and I still cannot connect to my P590 headset.

Choose update driver then select the download folder (no need to specify to any file) However, BH200 seem to have 4 functions so it has 4 drivers, which mean you have to install each drivers manually for 4 times. Jul 5, 2013I had bought this Vostro 5460 less than 2 weeks, and while i try to connect my mobile via bluetooth to the laptop, i get error message unable to connect shown in my mobile. I did try to paired the laptop and mobile devices, after i key in the same code in my mobile when i got the pairing request from the laptop, its successful to paired but failed to connect. I can see my mobile device shown on my PC Setting (Devices). I am able to send file from the laptop to mobile, but i am not able to send file from the mobile to laptop as its keep showing "unable to connect".
FYI, due to space bar and touch pad issue, i had requested to change the keyboard. Hence, all the parts had been taken out and re-installed before.

I earlier had windows 7 in which my laptop's bluetooth was working fine. Then i installed windows 8 release preview and even in that bluetooth was working fine. yesterday i installed windows 8 pro with WMC in it and since then the bluetooth isn't working.
My wifi is working fine.
1. I even checked in the BIOS....internal bluetooth is enabled.
2. I tired to install the driver by downloading it fromURL
3. I even tried to this method
Access device manager
- Click ‘Start’, and then click ‘Control Panel’
- Click ‘Hardware and Sound’
- Click ‘Device Manager’
- ‘User Account Control’ dialog box appears.
- Click ‘Continue’
- Device Manager Page opens up.
- Locate a category called ‘Bluetooth Radios’
- If not found, locate ‘Network Adapter’
- Also observe if it has a yellow mark besides any of the device listed
- Browse through the whole list to check for any other item listed with a yellow mark
- Capture the item with the yellow mark

- Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R241623.exe
