My stereo bluetooth headset-Dell Byte Corseca stereo bluetooth headset is not getting detected in my Acer Laptop (Acer 4752z). The headset works fine with my mobile. My laptop too can detect other bluetooth devices like mobile phones, mono stereo headsets, bluetooth mouse without any problem. However the headset is not detected when i try "Add a Device".
View 7 RepliesIt seem like many people still have trouble about finding driver for BH200 Bluetooth for Windows 7, So I will leave my solution here. It's unofficial driver which extract from the official one, so use it at your own risk. This work with any brands of PC.
Dell BH200 - Driver go to this site [URL] download this file - Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth Driver Pack 5.0.17 (6/1/2010) Extract the downloaded file then leave the folder anywhere Find some way to reach device manager of BH200 (by control panel, or go through Bluetooth setting icon, or right-click on My Computer icon > properties > Hardware>device manager) There you will find a properties tab which have many options like update driver/ roll back driver / uninstall. Choose update driver then select the download folder (no need to specify to any file) However, BH200 seem to have 4 functions so it has 4 drivers, which mean you have to install each drivers manually for 4 times. For example, mono and stereo audio of the hardware have different drivers, so you will need to install the functions you want.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to Windows 7 today and got the message "Your Bluetooth Software license does not include use with this Bluetooth device ." I can see the 590Plantronics in the "Bluetooth Headset Operations and Settings" window but it would not connect.
I looked for and installed the latest driver for Windows 7 on the Dell driver downloads site "Widdcomm Bluetooth Software 6.2.0.9600". When it installed it gave a "Device unplugged" message for four instances of "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" but despite a "Ready to use" message for "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio" the overall message is "Device did not install properly" and I still cannot connect to my P590 headset.

Ever since then I get the Network Error: "Windows has detected and IP address conflict" whenever my laptop and my wife's try to use the wireless at the same time. I have tried release/renew of my IP address and also reseting my router to factory settings to no avail.

There are about 3 laptops, one desktop, and 2 gaming consoles that are using the router. Everything connects fine expect the one laptop. It is an ASUS laptop running Windows 7. Whenever the laptop is going to connect to the internet every other device using the internet is stalled for a few moments, then reconnects. The computers then give the IP Address Conflict message. This is extremely frustrating. Sometimes it happens when people are accessing the Web for college assignments, and sometimes gaming, which is annoying to get disconnected from. I have tried to release / renew the IP, but it tells me it can't complete the process.

I bought a Linksys AE1200 USB Wireless Network Adapter because the laptop stopped recognizing the internal wireless adapter. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Netgear WNR612 wireless router, which worked fine for a few weeks. Then something happened and I can't keep the connection anymore. It happened right after I used iTunes to update my iPhone, perhaps a coincidence, but I'm mentioning that just in case. Internet still works fine with ethernet cable straight from the computer, only the wireless connection doesn't work. This happened about a month ago and I haven't been at home much to fix the problem. I have turned off and unplugged everything for several days at a time while gone. I get a Network Error message saying, Windows has detected an IP address conflict. I have tried restoring the router back to factory settings and reinstalling the wireless card. I have tried changing the IP address settings both in the Network and Sharing Center and the router admin page. What I think I should do is change the IP address in Command Prompt, but when I type "ipconfig /release", it says "No operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection 2 while it has its media disconnected" and the same for Local Area Connection. I don't understand what this means, because there is a wireless key in my keyboard and there is a white light (not orange) like there should be. Also in the Network and Sharing Center, I can see that the connections are enabled.
