View 1 RepliesI upgraded to Windows 7 today and got the message "Your Bluetooth Software license does not include use with this Bluetooth device ." I can see the 590Plantronics in the "Bluetooth Headset Operations and Settings" window but it would not connect.
I looked for and installed the latest driver for Windows 7 on the Dell driver downloads site "Widdcomm Bluetooth Software 6.2.0.9600". When it installed it gave a "Device unplugged" message for four instances of "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" but despite a "Ready to use" message for "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio" the overall message is "Device did not install properly" and I still cannot connect to my P590 headset.
I was not able to connect Corseca Byte Bluetooth headset with XPS1330 laptop, I tried reinstalling Network drivers

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt seem like many people still have trouble about finding driver for BH200 Bluetooth for Windows 7, So I will leave my solution here. It's unofficial driver which extract from the official one, so use it at your own risk. This work with any brands of PC.
Dell BH200 - Driver go to this site [URL] download this file - Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth Driver Pack 5.0.17 (6/1/2010) Extract the downloaded file then leave the folder anywhere Find some way to reach device manager of BH200 (by control panel, or go through Bluetooth setting icon, or right-click on My Computer icon > properties > Hardware>device manager) There you will find a properties tab which have many options like update driver/ roll back driver / uninstall. Choose update driver then select the download folder (no need to specify to any file) However, BH200 seem to have 4 functions so it has 4 drivers, which mean you have to install each drivers manually for 4 times. For example, mono and stereo audio of the hardware have different drivers, so you will need to install the functions you want.
I installed Windows 8 (Build 9200)on Dell Inspiron 1545, Service Tag No -<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>. Peviously it was working in Windows 7 & Vista

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had bought this Vostro 5460 less than 2 weeks, and while i try to connect my mobile via bluetooth to the laptop, i get error message unable to connect shown in my mobile. I did try to paired the laptop and mobile devices, after i key in the same code in my mobile when i got the pairing request from the laptop, its successful to paired but failed to connect. I can see my mobile device shown on my PC Setting (Devices). I am able to send file from the laptop to mobile, but i am not able to send file from the mobile to laptop as its keep showing "unable to connect".
FYI, due to space bar and touch pad issue, i had requested to change the keyboard. Hence, all the parts had been taken out and re-installed before.
My stereo bluetooth headset-Dell Byte Corseca stereo bluetooth headset is not getting detected in my Acer Laptop (Acer 4752z). The headset works fine with my mobile. My laptop too can detect other bluetooth devices like mobile phones, mono stereo headsets, bluetooth mouse without any problem. However the headset is not detected when i try "Add a Device".
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Inspiron 8000 and I just formatted the hard drive. I had been using a D-link wireless USB adapter with a D-Link wireless router - with no problems, but now when I try to reinstall the usb wireless adapter it asks for a hard wired connection to the router and even then it won't install and will not connect wirelessly or with the network cable. it seems the internal Dell network adapter has been affected in some way and will not work - as you can see I don't have alot of pc savy..?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110, using a TrendNet Wireless Adapter, and using SkyWeb Internet Service. My laptop is a little over a year old.On April 30, 2012, I had to have my hard drive and motherboard replaced by Dell due to some issues. It was replaced, but directly afterwards, I couldn't connect to my wireless internet when I was more than five feet away. I have contacted Dell several times about this and each time they give me the same answer:
Reset/Uninstall the current connection, reconnect to the connection, and allow it to connect.
Each time, it wouldn't work. Finally, after calling for the seventh or eighth time, I was told that perhaps my wireless card was bad (which I had suggested before, but the Dell employees told me that wasn't possible). So a Dell Dispatcher was sent to my house, my dispatch number being <Admin Note:dispatch number removed per privacy policy~RK> and my technician was Will. He replaced my WiFi card, ran an EPSA diagnostics test, to which all tests passed, and still couldn't get my Internet to connect. We were less than twenty feet away. He tried to suggest that perhaps it was because the wall was decreasing the signal, but that is not possible since my sister (who owns a Dell laptop herself) can connect just fine from anywhere in our home. He called Dell himself, who was told that I (the customer) should contact tech support.
I contacted Dell support and was told to contact the wireless division, who has told me to the same thing as stated above (reset, re-install, connect). I was told to turn off the power saving feature under my wireless networks in device manager. That seemed to do the trick for a few hours. Then, it went back to cutting in and out. I can't go more than five feet from my wifi adapter anymore when I used to be able to go outside with it. My sister (as mentioned before) tested this a few days ago. I have installed numerous drivers, and I'm not even sure whether I need them or if they're even working.
I have a dell inspiron 1100 laptop that i have a dell truemobile 1300 802.1.1 b/g PC card in for my wireless connection. My router is Libebox-7bd8 i thinkI have tried to connect to the internet as usual but keep getting "page cannot be displayed" but the pc says that i am connected to my live box with excellent connection.I also have a pc that has a wired connection that works perfect?I called my net provider one man said that oh no its your wireless card and hung up and another lady actually took my details and told me it was a common fault and it will be fixed withing 3 hours that was a week ago !

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having problems connecting to the internet. I've tried changing my security from WPA to WEP and back again. I've searched these forums for a solution and nothing has worked. I've changed my antenna output to Aux from Auto as one thread suggested, but no luck.
For a time, I could connect to my wireless BT Home Hub 2, but the range was pathetic (about 4 metres). I've tried connecting to my partners home wireless connection, and again, same problem. Now the connection is virtually nothing. If I am lucky enough to get a connection then it will be poor and usually fail within 2 minutes.
I've had my Dell Inspiron Mini 10v for nearly 3 months now. I wish I was brave enough to return it when I had the chance.People have commented that this could be a known issue. I don't know what the problem is. I've spoken to IT bods my office and nobody seems to know.
I also am using a Dell Inspiron N5010 with Windows 7 and have trouble connecting to Netgear WNR 1000. I have an Apple that has no trouble making that connection. I have spent over $100 to a local computer repair company trying unsuccessfully trying to fix the problem and $129 to Dell Technical Services with equal lack of success and then was told by a technical support person that they had fixed it, that they would not provide futher work to fix it. The fact is that the error occurred again immediately the moment the Dell technician hung up. I spent the following day just running internet on a cable connection for about 8 hoooting.ble shurs trouble free and then switched it to wireless, which failed in about 10 minutes as my own troubleshooting. This made it clear to me that the problem was only in the wireless connection.
They problem is the Blue Screen error time message that pops up at random times any time the computer is operating on wireless. At other timerred again immediatelyre occuthe failuat s it operates normally. The Blue screen error causes the computer to shut down and restart. The only solution I have found is to return the Netgear router to the store where I bought it (within 30 days of purchase) and pay the additional cost of a different router.
Service personell should at least be kept aware or incompatibilites, explained or unexplained, between particular router models and particular computer models so as to save this waste of time and money. I have lost about 3 weeks of useful time on this computer in addition to over $200 in direct costs attempting to find a fix.
