View 1 RepliesI was trying to draw a diagram for my network, when the following problem occurs. When using "show cdp neighbor" command on my primary core switch i see the proper name and interface # of the attached secondary core switch. However, upon using the "show cdp neigh fa1/1 detail" command (fa1/1 is the port i get that is attached directly to the secondary core switch and is the correct int that is connected to it) i get the wrong ip!!! The ip it gives me is not that of the secondary core switch but is that of the asa firewall!! When i go on the secondary core switch and do the same thing i get the same result but it gives me the ip of the 2nd asa firewall instead.
Notes: I am logged in to the management vlan. Firewall vlan is separate as well. asa is also connected to the switches but on different ports.
What is the operating and/or peak power consumption (in kW) of a 5508 WLC with redundant power supplies?
The below power details are from the 5508 datasheet which lists 115 W as the maximum draw (0.115 kW) however this seems a bit low, is this right?
Input power: 100 to 240 VAC; 50/60 Hz; 1.05 A at 110 VAC, 115 W Maximum; 0.523 A at 220 VAC, 115 W Maximum; Test Conditions: Redundant Power Supplies, 40C, Full Traffic. Heat Dissipation: 392 BTU/hour at 110/220 VAC Maximum Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers Data Sheet: [URL]
Is it possible to lower the power draw on the Aironet 1552e AP (AIR-CAP1552E-N-K9) so it will run on a standard PoE device (IEEE 802.3af). The spec sheet for the AP says you need to either use the Cisco PoE injector (AIR-PWRINJ1500-2=).Is there possibly a firmware upgrade/downgrade or some sort of command I can use?The APs being used are running LWAPP and require a controller.

Is there any settings to be done in LMS 4.2.2 or any configuration changes to done on my switches ? to find the traffic flow bandwidth utilization.
I am trying find out what the nominal power draw is for the following switch. The installation manual and data sheets says that the power draw for the units are 15.1W and 15.7W maximum at 18VDC. I am trying to use the switch for a solar application (12VDC) and would like to find out what the nominal draw would be when the device is in standby or if all of the ethernet ports are unused. I plan to use the two fiber SFP's and one copper port.

I have implemented ASA 5520 as the main firewall. The outside interface is connected to a cisco router and the router is connected to an ISP. I want to make my security system more secure. Which product is the best as the internet gateway solution. Which licenses are required for this one and what is the, cost for each license. Where can I find the DMZ diagram recommended by cisco ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem where clients cannot roam between Cisco 1231g-e-k9 and recently installed cisco 1242g-e-k9 access points.. On looking at the CDP option on the 1231 and 1242 access points they are all aware of each other. However if I use the Network View option I see a different picture. All the 1231 access points can see each other but not see the 1242's. Network View on the1242 shows all the 1231's but none of the 1242's. The 1231 are running ver. 12.3(8)JEB and the 1242's are running ver. 12.4(21a)JA1.
