Belkin Wifi Adapter Won't Install Driver - It Is Asking For Notebook Card
Jul 13, 2012today my Belkin 7050 wifi adapter arrived.I went through the install procedure from the cd,and when asked to plug in the adapter,I got the message asking for a notebook card,which I haven't got.It then told me that the drivers aren't installed.The device isn't showing in device manager.I called Belkin support but all the could suggest was that the device was to try it in another computer.I am unable to do this because the communal computer needs administrator rights to install programs etc.

Oct 14, 2012Inspiron N5050.Fresh install Win 7 sp1 home premium.I have the Dell drivers disc.when I go through the list of drivers to install, there is one listed for the wireless card for this computer, but it does not have the 'tick' which says the device has been detected.i try to install that driver anyway and I am asked to "Activate Bluetooth Using Wireless Switch". I went here [URL] and then did a search for DW1702, which is the card listed on my customer invoice. From that search I am taken here [URL] which lists 3 kinds of drivers: A01, A02 and A03. I have tried all three. A01 and A03 give up quite quickly. With the A02 the InstallShield Wizard starts up and most of the installation seems to take place and then it gives up. Windows tells me the driver was not installed properly.Whenever there is a problem over drivers, Dell tells us to install the Notebook System Software. There is no NSS on my drivers disc. (It does not come up on the list of drivers to install when the disc is first inserted and is not listed under 'System Utilities'.) Since I can't connect to the internet without at least an ethernet driver installed, how am I supposed to install the NSS first? In any case when I enter my service tag on here or do a search for the N5050, I am given 11 filtered results and 33 'all related drivers' but no NSS.I was charged extra for the drivers disc and it doesn't have what I want. The laptop without a wireless card is useless to me.

I tried downloading the Belkin Driver, but it still says another driver is missing. My question: Would it be possible to download the driver on my mac, transfer it to the dell with a flash drive and install it? If so, how do I find the right one?

Oct 31, 2012I have my Dell Laptop with model 14R5420, service tag <Admin Note:service tag removed per privacy policy~RK>. It runs normally on Win 7. However, when I upgrage to Win 8, the wireless card can not receive the driver. I list below what I did.
- Download all drivers for my laptop which compatible Win 8 64 bit by using my service tag .
- Install Win 8 (format disk label C)
- Run Bios Driver to flash BIOS
- Set up all other downloaded drivers
All devices work perfectly except the wireless card. In Device Manager, there is still an unrecognized device name Network Device. I know that is the wireless card.If I run my backup to Win 7, everything is normal.

Jun 12, 2011I am attempting to set up a wireless connection on an HP desktop that runs Vista. I recently purchased a Belkin N150 Wireless USB Adapter (Version F9L1001). My computer, first, will not run the software CD automatically; I have to find it and double-click on it. Then, after the drivers are supposedly installed and I restart according to the instructions, my computer is unable to find them when I plug in the adapter. Additionally, when I try to start the driver program myself, it refuses to go. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver software four times and I have gotten the following same results every time. Also, I do not have a router installed yet, as we were told initially that all we would need to use to connect the desktop to our wireless Internet was the adapter

Apr 9, 2011Having the same problem with a Dell Inspiron Laptop using a belkin pcmcia wireless card. It was working, but has stopped doing so. I was missing some network adapters which I have reinstalled, and the hard wired connection is now working again, but wireless will not get past the acquiring network address phase. I tried the ipconfig /all and it shows my IP address as 0.0.0.0 and the same on the subnet mask. it says the autoconfig is enabled and dhcp is enabled. My HP laptop is connecting to the wireless network just fine.

Jun 9, 2007I downloaded an update for the 1370 wireless card from the microsoft site and now my wireless network doesn't work. I went to the dell site and got the driver directly from the dell site (R140747.EXE) and it fails after it reached 59% complete. I tried another download recommended from this forum (R151519.EXE) and the same error at 59%. I have tried everything I have seen in the forums (closing virus software, editting setup ini file, etc) and I still get Update 778 error at 59%. I am running on an Inspirion 6000, CARD (CIRCUIT), IRELESS, MINI PCI CARD, 1370, BROADCOM CORPORATION, Dlink wireless router, windows xp with sp2, USA. I have also received an error that says something about internal setting incompatible (unfortunately I didn't capture the exact wording - I will attempt to recreate the error) This is terribly frustrating considering I was only following the dell suggestion that I update the driver and now that I attempted it, my laptop is sitting not being used.

I have a Dell Latitude E6410 and the driver from Microsoft worked for the most part but I was having issues connecting to my Windows phone 8 device (Nokia 920). First I though it was my phone but when I tried other devices like my Surface I could connect with no problem. I am also running Windows 7 32 bit, when I boot up that OS I had no issues connecting to my phone. I also had issues with stable connections to my 5Ghz Wi-Fi access point. Well if any of these symptoms sound like something that you been going through then check this driver out. I used the 43224AGN 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 driver and now everything seems to work.

Sep 22, 2012I have been having some trouble with my NIC acting up lately. I had just recently reinstalled windows 7 on my computer and everything was working ok for a week or two. Two days ago i went to connect to the internet and ended up getting an error saying there is a problem with he driver for the NIC. I go and delete the driver throught he device manager and reinstall the one that originally came with the card. This still did not work and the same error still showed. The second thing i tried was to install the "old" driver from the drivers folder from my previous installation of windows (from the windows.old folder). So neither of he drivers that previously worked for the card not two days ago are able to connect now. I have not been able to download a driver cleaner and really ensure that the driver has been removed. I also found it was strange that the new driver is now installing as TP link wireless driver #2 yet there is only one card in the machine, i dont see a number 1 and it was never called that before hand.
