View 1 RepliesI have been having some trouble with my NIC acting up lately. I had just recently reinstalled windows 7 on my computer and everything was working ok for a week or two. Two days ago i went to connect to the internet and ended up getting an error saying there is a problem with he driver for the NIC. I go and delete the driver throught he device manager and reinstall the one that originally came with the card. This still did not work and the same error still showed. The second thing i tried was to install the "old" driver from the drivers folder from my previous installation of windows (from the windows.old folder). So neither of he drivers that previously worked for the card not two days ago are able to connect now. I have not been able to download a driver cleaner and really ensure that the driver has been removed. I also found it was strange that the new driver is now installing as TP link wireless driver #2 yet there is only one card in the machine, i dont see a number 1 and it was never called that before hand.
View 6 Replies View RelatedInspiron N5050.Fresh install Win 7 sp1 home premium.I have the Dell drivers disc.when I go through the list of drivers to install, there is one listed for the wireless card for this computer, but it does not have the 'tick' which says the device has been detected.i try to install that driver anyway and I am asked to "Activate Bluetooth Using Wireless Switch". I went here [URL] and then did a search for DW1702, which is the card listed on my customer invoice. From that search I am taken here [URL] which lists 3 kinds of drivers: A01, A02 and A03. I have tried all three. A01 and A03 give up quite quickly. With the A02 the InstallShield Wizard starts up and most of the installation seems to take place and then it gives up. Windows tells me the driver was not installed properly.Whenever there is a problem over drivers, Dell tells us to install the Notebook System Software. There is no NSS on my drivers disc. (It does not come up on the list of drivers to install when the disc is first inserted and is not listed under 'System Utilities'.) Since I can't connect to the internet without at least an ethernet driver installed, how am I supposed to install the NSS first? In any case when I enter my service tag on here or do a search for the N5050, I am given 11 filtered results and 33 'all related drivers' but no NSS.I was charged extra for the drivers disc and it doesn't have what I want. The laptop without a wireless card is useless to me.

They have one Belkin Wireless G Notebook Network Card (#F5D7010), but when I put it in, it says I have to download the drivers for it, and can't find the drivers. I tried downloading the Belkin Driver, but it still says another driver is missing. My question: Would it be possible to download the driver on my mac, transfer it to the dell with a flash drive and install it? If so, how do I find the right one?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my Dell Laptop with model 14R5420, service tag <Admin Note:service tag removed per privacy policy~RK>. It runs normally on Win 7. However, when I upgrage to Win 8, the wireless card can not receive the driver. I list below what I did.
- Download all drivers for my laptop which compatible Win 8 64 bit by using my service tag .
- Install Win 8 (format disk label C)
- Run Bios Driver to flash BIOS
- Set up all other downloaded drivers
All devices work perfectly except the wireless card. In Device Manager, there is still an unrecognized device name Network Device. I know that is the wireless card.If I run my backup to Win 7, everything is normal.

An error msg states that the system can't find a certain .dll (driver?) so I guess I need to update the driver for the Win7 system. One of the pages here has available downloads for the 110 but they only specify version 1.0 and/or version 2.0. Which on do I need to download and to what file?

I re-installed the drivers, but my wirless card does not work,
The Dell wirless program states the radio is disabled press Fn-F2 to activate it
Fn-F2 has no effect.
I downloaded an update for the 1370 wireless card from the microsoft site and now my wireless network doesn't work. I went to the dell site and got the driver directly from the dell site (R140747.EXE) and it fails after it reached 59% complete. I tried another download recommended from this forum (R151519.EXE) and the same error at 59%. I have tried everything I have seen in the forums (closing virus software, editting setup ini file, etc) and I still get Update 778 error at 59%. I am running on an Inspirion 6000, CARD (CIRCUIT), IRELESS, MINI PCI CARD, 1370, BROADCOM CORPORATION, Dlink wireless router, windows xp with sp2, USA. I have also received an error that says something about internal setting incompatible (unfortunately I didn't capture the exact wording - I will attempt to recreate the error) This is terribly frustrating considering I was only following the dell suggestion that I update the driver and now that I attempted it, my laptop is sitting not being used.

I have a Dell Latitude E6410 and the driver from Microsoft worked for the most part but I was having issues connecting to my Windows phone 8 device (Nokia 920). First I though it was my phone but when I tried other devices like my Surface I could connect with no problem. I am also running Windows 7 32 bit, when I boot up that OS I had no issues connecting to my phone. I also had issues with stable connections to my 5Ghz Wi-Fi access point. Well if any of these symptoms sound like something that you been going through then check this driver out. I used the 43224AGN 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 driver and now everything seems to work.

I went to above link to download the driver from dell but I don't know which one to download. There are different kinds and all I know about my card is it's "integrated 10/100 network card and modem". But I don't see this specific driver. For the wirelss card, I know exactly what it is and it works fine.(Intel (R) Pro/Wireless 2100 LAN miniPCI Adapter) But not the integrated 10/100 Port.

I also installed service pack 1 right after the OS install. My problem is I cannot find a single driver that allows my WiFi card/connection to show up in Windows. I have been browsing the internet like a fiend and cannot find a single driver or solution anywhere for this. Every install or driver I try either shows an error saying "incompatable" or just does not fix the issue. The machine was a clean build on a new disk about 2 months ago and all has been working well (excepting the Fujitsu HDD which seems to be going bad as I type, but that's a different issue!).i was offer via Microsoft Update: "Dell driver update for Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN Mini-PCI Card" 2 days ago (mid August 2009). This is a Dell supplied update distributed via MS. Also offered (and installed) at the same time was "Darfon - Other Hardware - Bluetooth Devices". Since installing these (and the installs reporting as completing correctly) I keep getting:Dell Wireless WLAN Card Wireless Network Controller encountered a problem and needed to close.and Dell Wireless WLAN Card Wireless Network Controller has encountered a problem and needs to close.rror dialogues. These pop up every 30 seconds or so and seem to be related to the Dell TrueMobile 1300 update.Looking in the Windows directory there is no uninstall directory for this update unlike the MS updates. So I now either need to:get the updates to work properly Remove the updates and get back to a working condition if you wonder why I applied the updates...why repair something that's already working...I have had Bluetooth sporadic connection issues with this laptop with a BT GPS unit. The same BT GPS unit works perfectly on a D610 but on this D600 after initial connection there can be repeated connection loss requring the BT GPS unit to be moved around, after which BT connection is re-established only to fail a while later. As the same GPS works without problem with the D610 my presumption has been the issue is a BT stack issue on the D600 BT implementation.

I'm unable to configure my Data Card (ZTE-AC8700). I tried with manual settings but it keeps on showing the message "connecting" but doesn't connects although my datacard is shown as identified by the device MR-3020. I'm using BSNL EVDO connection and my datacard is ZTE-AC8700. It doesn't uses any APN, only a username and password and dial number "#777" is required to connect. configuring my datacard with MR3020 ???
My DCS-942 is doing everything quite well, except when an SD card is inserted. When connected to the network via ethernet, everything works well. I can set detection zones with snapshot or video modes and it does what I want it to do, however, as soon as I remove the ethernet cable and wish to use the camera over wireless, the unit fails to work at all (red light illuminated). If I then remove the SD card, it will work over wireless again with all the capability except for SD oriented operations. I have performed several hard resets and formatted the card with no success.

The IP address is correct and signal is real strong, excelent according to PC. I put in the security KEY and it connects and says it's ok but no internet.I've tried every thing. When I plug in the ethernet cable everything works fine on line. With Belkin you can let windows start the wireless input or Belkin. I tried both. No luck. I'm sending you this over my ethernet cable. Need Tech support.I have another desktop with Belkin wireless card and it is working fine . I did try to troubleshoot useing it and lost internet on it and had to do a restore to get it back. So afraid to mess with it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been having difficulty connecting to the internet at my new place, I'm starting to think that the network card I recently bought (D-Link DWA-552 XtremeN Desktop Adapter) might have a problem, but I am not sure. I am currently using my landlord's internet, so I don't have access to the router to turn it on and off, which Windows suggests doing constantly, but I don't think that's the problem because I have internet on all my other wireless devices (Phone, PS3, Xbox).I am able to see the router most times and connect to it, but I am unable to connect to the internet, the networking image in the bottom corner has a yellow warning sign. Also, after a certain amount of time, the wireless card is unable to detect any wireless signal, the networking image in the bottom corner has a red X through it. I disabled all networking interfaces besides the wireless card because of an error message that I thought may have been caused by it: "This computer is continuously switching between two or more wireless access points or routers", but disabling the other interfaces did nothing and the message still appears after troubleshooting.
