View 30 RepliesI haven't installed anything new lately, nothing that would affect the wireless, but my wireless suddenly stopped working. My wireless has been working successfully for the past 2 years no problems till now. I have a Dell Latitude E6410 my computer is running Windows 7 32bit. When I open up the DW WLAN Card Utility it says "There are currently no wireless adapters available and enabled. Please enable any available wireless adapters before accessing this configuration utility. I tried reinstalling drivers for the wireless but my computer says "no compatible hardware found".
Also the under the wireless adapters section of Device Manager there isn't an adapter for wireless, but there is an unknown device.

I have a recently rebuilt D600 running XP Prof XP3 full patched. The machine was a clean build on a new disk about 2 months ago and all has been working well (excepting the Fujitsu HDD which seems to be going bad as I type, but that's a different issue!).i was offer via Microsoft Update: "Dell driver update for Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN Mini-PCI Card" 2 days ago (mid August 2009). So I now either need to:get the updates to work properly Remove the updates and get back to a working condition if you wonder why I applied the updates...why repair something that's already working...I have had Bluetooth sporadic connection issues with this laptop with a BT GPS unit. The same BT GPS unit works perfectly on a D610 but on this D600 after initial connection there can be repeated connection loss requring the BT GPS unit to be moved around, after which BT connection is re-established only to fail a while later. As the same GPS works without problem with the D610 my presumption has been the issue is a BT stack issue on the D600 BT implementation.

I have a Dell laptop that I use at my Work Location as well as at my home.
The problem is, the laptop connects to the Wi Fi available at my work location without any troubles. But when I come back home and try to connect to Wi Fi available at my home location, it does not get connected. If I connect the direct cable from my modem, then it gets connected but it does not connect wirelessly through Wi Fi router.

I have Latitude E6410 and connect to internet through wireless network to Zyxel ADSL modem. My problem has started 20 days ago when I was connected then I was disconnected from internet. The status is as below:
- I can ping the modem which means the laptop the link between modem and laptop is working while I can not ping any address or website even the provider's DNS. At the same time, if I connect the LAN cable, every thing is working properly. I tried with different laptops and there was no problem. To resolve the problem temporarily, I have to restart the modem or change the IP for my wireless card. In this case it works for another 30-60 minutes. the issue is the same when I use different modem.
I have Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop. I just wiped and reinstalled the xp. But I don't have the drivers. XP w/ SP 2 won't pick up the integrated 10/100 network card and modem.

I went to above link to download the driver from dell but I don't know which one to download. There are different kinds and all I know about my card is it's "integrated 10/100 network card and modem". But I don't see this specific driver. For the wirelss card, I know exactly what it is and it works fine.(Intel (R) Pro/Wireless 2100 LAN miniPCI Adapter) But not the integrated 10/100 Port.
I've just updated the WiFi mini card in my Inspiron 1545. It works great.....but, I have to download the driver every time I start the laptop.

I have a Dell Latitude E6410 and the driver from Microsoft worked for the most part but I was having issues connecting to my Windows phone 8 device (Nokia 920). First I though it was my phone but when I tried other devices like my Surface I could connect with no problem. I am also running Windows 7 32 bit, when I boot up that OS I had no issues connecting to my phone. I also had issues with stable connections to my 5Ghz Wi-Fi access point. Well if any of these symptoms sound like something that you been going through then check this driver out. I used the 43224AGN 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 driver and now everything seems to work.

It works fine on 3 notebooks, while on 2 notebooks the VPN connection fails with error:

It seems the problem is in the certificate, but I verified and Cisco client says it's ok. It's also the only valid certificate in MMC->Certificates->Personal.Furthermore, also using other smartcard (etokens) of other users it doesn't work.

I reloaded a friend's Dell Latitude D600 laptop with Windows XP Pro 2002 service pak 2 and loaded all the drivers from the Dell support web site. Everything is working now except the WiFi does not get on the web. I have a strong signal, and it says Connected, but also says "Limited Connectivity". Another laptop works fine on this same wireless router, so I know it is a problem with the machine. I'm trying to get my wireless turned back on after using an Ethernet connection at work. It's a Latitude E5400. The message I'm getting is that the DW WLAN Card is still disabled and to use the DW WLAN Utility to enable it. There is no icon in my notification area and I cannot seem to locate this "Utility". When I try to install the first one I got the failure message "BASS_REL_5_6 456".I am able to install the second one, but I still got the message, that the WIFI-/LAN-Hardware is uninstalled. Therefore I still can't access to the internet with this computer.
I have a Latitude D830 that I had to reinstall back to Windows XP3. I have installed all the drivers per instructions except that the device manager indicated one ethernet controller (Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard) is not found. I ran the desired driver R242906 but it begins and then states that hardware is not found and stops. I have tried some of the older drivers as well but still have had the same result.
Prior to redoing the OS is was Windows Vista Pro but kept crashing so went back to XP. The wireless card worked then.
I have a Dell Latitude E6410 laptop that does not have a Serial port or a Break key on the keyboard. I have a Prolific PL2303 USB-to-Serial adapter which is installed and I can access the CLI ok with this setup via HyperTerminal.
My problem is that I am unable to break into ROMMON using the break sequence Ctrl + Break (as there is no break key). I have also tried TeraTerm with the break sequence of Alt + B.
Additionally, I have tried setting the baud rate to 2600 and pressing the space bar for 10 seconds to no avail.
