When I try to install the first one I got the failure message "BASS_REL_5_6 456".I am able to install the second one, but I still got the message, that the WIFI-/LAN-Hardware is uninstalled. Therefore I still can't access to the internet with this computer.
I just bought a Dell Latitude D620, Win. XP, wireless and have been getting "limited or no connectivity" message when trying to connect wirelessly. Belkin G router. I cannot download anything cause I cannot get connected.
My main computer is an apple mac and it is connected to the internet via a sky router. I have two lap tops one connects to the wirless network this one a dell latitude d620 does not. The icon in bottom right corner states wireless connection not connected but i have tried everything but it just wont connect. I can connect by using a local area connection by connecting the lap top to my router?
When i try to enter my wep password on a dell latitude d620, it only allows me to enter 8 numbers. The length of my password is 16 characters, consisting of letters and numbers. How can I enter my password?
My son was using the computer early today and I got back on and could not get on the internet.Says "Wireless is turned off. Use the wireless ON/OFF switch to enable it" i have tried the Fn+F2 and just F2. I also tried looking for Quickset and I cannot find that either. Saw similar problems looking through other forums but I don't understand much about computers and can't quite figure out what the solutions are. I have a Latitude D620.
I have an old Dell Latitude D620 and have Just upgrade my wireless deal with BT to Infinity with a new BTHomeHub3.0. The Dell will connect to the internet and I can see it's working because some of my programs can use the internet to function but when I try to use the internet it just stops loading at 5 bars on IE but then stops. I have tried a system restore but this has not done anything and tried a different browser but the same thing has happend.
I have Dell Latitude D620 and bought it refurbished, I did NOT recieve a backup drivers and utilities disk with the laptop. The computer worked fine for about a year I had no problems accessing the Internet at all. Then it crashed and I had to reinstall Windows XP. After reinstalling Windows XP it will not connect to the Internet at all. Even with the ethernet cord directly to the modem. Since it will not connect to the internet I can not do a diagonostics to see what driver it needs. I have tried downloading a few onto my other laptop and then use flash drive to install it on the Dell but have not had any luck with finding the correct driver. I am not that computer savvy and do not know what type of wireless card I even have.
I wait on Dell and other vendors to start pumping out Win 8 certified hardware, I have been running the Win 8 CP on my ST slate since February. With the release of RP this weekend I readily upgraded. Now i was able to get all functionality working previuosly but am now running into an issue with the wireless/BT card driver. Seems Microsoft sees the BT part of the Dell 1535C mini card but will not allow the wireless driver to load.
I have a Dell (Latitude D620) with a wireless connection and a RJ-45 network connection. I use my wireless for my internet connection, and want to allow other computers (on the wired network) to share my wireless internet connection. The problem is that all forums I have found merely say "click the enable connection sharing checkbox". This does not work, as that option is not available on my wireless conn. It is available on the wired conn. I also received a message saying that the connection wizard can only be run as network administrator. I have a home network...I am all the administrators. I am using Intel PROSet/Wireless for my wireless connection.
Just got switched to high speed from dial up and lost the driver for the ethernet controller. I've been looking everywhere on the dell site but cannot located the one I need..
I was using Windows 7 on this Dell latitude E5400 from past 2yrs i guess! n now i installed windows 8! It works just fine! but i cant use bluetooth here! i really need the bluetooth drivers for Dell latitude E5400!
i bought a n5050 with ubuntu preinstalled so i installed windows7 but i cant find the wlan driver. The card is Atheros AR9485 but i cant find it anywhere in dell's driver list or anywhere else.
Recently I have installed windows 8 professional x64 version in my dell laptop. Everything is fine here except the Bluetooth driver. It is showing 'The program has compatibility issue'. So bluetooth driver software is not installing. I am using dell inspiron 1564.
Latitude D400 Win XP sp3. My wireless mini-pci card seems to have died. To replace the original card I bought a Broadcom BCM94318 (model WL5011s (TECOM) ) that was listed as compatible in a D400. No drivers just the hardware. My machine recognizes that the card is physically there but I do not have a drivers for it. Where can I get a driver that works?
I had to install Windows Vista on Latitude E6410, than I followed order installation from here ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/Common/latitude-e6230_Reference%20Guide_en-us.pdf. And I am still not able to install Dell Wireless WLAN 1397/1501/1520 Half MiniCard Driver - in the download section it is only update package? My notebook does not offer me WLAN connection only cable...

My Bluetooth was working even when i upgraded to Windows 7. After a while it stopped. I tried installing back with the Installation CD but whenever the software asks me to "Activate Bluetooth with the wireless button" on my computer, it never continues. i dont know where the problem could be from again. i've tried all i know.
I have a new Dell Inspiron 14R N4110 laptop. The problem is that WiFi and Bluetooth driver is not installing in my laptop. I downloaded all software from Dell.Com but no one is working.
Whenever i am installing i get a "ERROR": This installation can not proceed. Please check service pack of your OS.I installed OS 4 time but get the same problem.
AM working on a dell latitude laptop. It has been connecting to the internet but over a sadden has stopped and in the network adapters it shows ethernet?
I have a Inspiron n5110 laptop and recently re-installed Windows 7.After using the "Driver & Utilities" disc to update the drivers. I haven't been able to connect to the internet
I was able to retrieve my system information and got the following;
Network Card(s): 3 NIC(s) Installed. [01]: Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) Connection Name: Bluetooth Network Connection Status: Media disconnected [02]: Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller Connection Name: Local Area Connection Status: Media disconnected
I have a Inspiron M5110 Laptop and was having some trouble staying connected to my internet so this morning I decided I would try and update the drivers. I have uninstalled the Wireless and Blue Tooth drivers and reinstalled them, but now, it won't even TRY to connect at all. In the bottom right corner, there's a red x over the wireless bars, and says No Connections are available. Before , it would have a spinning circle while trying to connect, but it doesnt have that at all anymore. My Ethernet connection is working fine, I even uninstalled and reinstalled that driver (REALTEK) and its working with no problems.
If I run IPCONFIG, the wireless adapter doesn't even show up anymore. I've tried resetting, disabling, anything I could think of. I tried several versions too of the drivers, but nothing is working. Right now, I removed it, so I have a yellow exclamation mark next to Network Controller in my Device Settings. My hardware ID for the adapter is PCIVEN_168C&DEV_002B&SUBSYS_02051028
I think from the above info, I believe the wireless adapter belongs to Atheros.how I can get this thing to even attempt to connect to a network? I'm dead in the water...
I have a recently rebuilt D600 running XP Prof XP3 full patched. The machine was a clean build on a new disk about 2 months ago and all has been working well (excepting the Fujitsu HDD which seems to be going bad as I type, but that's a different issue!).i was offer via Microsoft Update: "Dell driver update for Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN Mini-PCI Card" 2 days ago (mid August 2009). This is a Dell supplied update distributed via MS. Also offered (and installed) at the same time was "Darfon - Other Hardware - Bluetooth Devices". Since installing these (and the installs reporting as completing correctly) I keep getting:Dell Wireless WLAN Card Wireless Network Controller encountered a problem and needed to close.and Dell Wireless WLAN Card Wireless Network Controller has encountered a problem and needs to close.rror dialogues. These pop up every 30 seconds or so and seem to be related to the Dell TrueMobile 1300 update.Looking in the Windows directory there is no uninstall directory for this update unlike the MS updates. So I now either need to:get the updates to work properly Remove the updates and get back to a working condition if you wonder why I applied the updates...why repair something that's already working...I have had Bluetooth sporadic connection issues with this laptop with a BT GPS unit. The same BT GPS unit works perfectly on a D610 but on this D600 after initial connection there can be repeated connection loss requring the BT GPS unit to be moved around, after which BT connection is re-established only to fail a while later. As the same GPS works without problem with the D610 my presumption has been the issue is a BT stack issue on the D600 BT implementation.
