I am having trouble with my NAT on my game system and I have tried everything but I have everything setup on my router where it needs to be. I read somewhere, where a guy was having my same trouble and he upgraded his firmware to 2.03na. I have tried with no success whatsoever.
Downloading the file from the d-link website with no problems. But i keep getting the same message when i try to upgrade the router saying the file may be corrupt, the router is to busy, or I am not logged in as an Admin. I am the only one using the internet and I am logged into my router as the admin. it wont even start uploading the firmware to my router..
I've got a Synology DS211+ Nas drive attached to an airport extreme via ethernet. My imac picks up teh NAS fine as a shared drive, but I have a laptop running XP which hooks up to the router (for the internet), but the NAS doesn't show up anywhere on the laptop. I've looked under network places, but nowt. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do for it to show up.

I'm running the A3 hardware version and 1.35 firmware on the router. I recently upgraded my computer from Vista 64-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. The problem occurs with Microsoft and Firefox browsers. I was able to access the router using another machine on my home network running Vista 32-bit

CPU level is very high, 70-75% when nobody is logged by vty or console, but it drops drastically to 40% when sombebody logs in. I've been able to discover that this is due to CPU interrupt level, as it shows the output of sh process cpu sort 5sec, just logged in.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Call Of Duty installed on 2 desktop computers and a laptop. When I make a multiplayer LAN server on one of the desktops, the other desktop finds it but the laptop can't. So I don't know if the laptop is simply only connected to the internet, and the network is only on the two desktop computers, or if they have to be connected to the network to be connected to the internet (so the laptop is connected to the network, and there's a totally different problem going on), or what.Assuming that I just need to connect the laptop to the network, should/can I add it to the network between the two desktops, or do I need to make a totally separate network for it, or what? And how do I do it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedEverything was ok, for a long time, then few days ago, i woke up and where was no internet connection on my laptop, i saw my neighbors wifi's but not mine. So i tried typical things: restarted laptop, restarted wifi on laptop, restarted router, but no luck. Then i checked, with my other laptop and it was working like charm. Then I tried, everythink i could think about it: disable and reanabled wifi card, reinstalled drivers, reseted factory setings on router, but no luck. Then i tried to configurate and connect to router from other laptop using PIN whitch is on the bottom of router. And it somehow made it to be able my laptop to find my home's wifi. But it lasted only for a day and same thing started. I could not find my wifi on my computer, but i could saw other wifi's, and different laptop could find and connect to my home network.

I changed the Radius server with the one we were using on the old 440x but situation seems to be same,I checked the error message when trying to start a second similar connection they looks like :

All it has are the no signal bars and the little "x". Everything was working fine before I reset the router. Now nothing can even find a connection! View 15 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have found out that my laptop is unable to find any networks. I started using what I believe to be an ethernet cable to connect my laptop to the internet because it was faster than wireless. But when I removed the cable and try to connect wirelessly, the computer states that there are no wireless networks in range. I know the wireless adapter is broadcasting because my sister can connect wirelessly to the internet. My WiFi is on, but I can't find any networks.

Laptop2 connects to the Livebox via a Broadcom 802.11g adapter. There is no problem with any of these accessing the internet. Until recently (not sure how long ago) there was no problem with any of them accessing each other.Yesterday we discovered that laptop2 has lost contact with PC. All other connections are fine (including PC to laptop2). I have checked evrything I can think of and have carried out a System Restore taking the machine back as far as I can but that has made no differenceLaptop2 appears to recognise the workgroup in its 'preferred networks' box but the PC does not appear in its list of computers on the network and any attempt to access the network (My Network Places>Entire Network>Microsoft Windows Network & click on MSHOME) results in "you do not have permission ..." then followed by "Windows cannot find the network path.."

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat I got is a 5505 ASA firewall and I'm connected to it via VPN. I'm pulling an 192.168.169.x address because that's what we set their company's internet LAN to. Which is what we want. What I can't do while I'm VPN'd in is ping from the internet network to the DMZ, and the same when I try and ping from the DMZ to the internal network.
The DMZ is on a 196.0.0.x network. The internet network is 192.168.169.x network.
I don't need them to have internet access on the DMZ I just want to be able to access it from the internal network. What is going on is we need them to be able to VPN into the DMZ and access their equipment. At this point it would just make me happy to be able to ping from the internal network to the DMZ and I can figure it out from there I've setup rules and applied them and when I wasn't having success I referred back to defaults. Right now the rules are set at default, any thing in and anything out, on both internal and DMZ. I'm using a VPN client and going through Cisco ASDM Launcher to setup the rules and static routes, I haven't done anything with the command line. All the research I've done everyone does it command line, I find it easier to do it GUI. This is my first time working with an ASA firewall.
