Belkin Routers :: N150 - Disable Wifi From Setup Page?
Feb 10, 2013Is there a way to quickly disable Wi-Fi on a N-150 from the router setup page? I have looked on my admin page but I don't see it. I just want to be able to turn the radio on and off from the PC that is connected via ethernet.

Nov 5, 2012Can the N150 be set up so that it just runs a private network - not connect to the internet? The auto-setup doesn't seem to work without a modem attached to it and I don't want it to be hooked up to the outside world, just a few computers and a NAS device on a private net.

Jan 31, 2012I bought a new cable and rewired the ISP connection because mice chewed on the cord in the attic. I have a belkin N150 as the main router with the connection comming in to it. I have the DD-WRT that we want to setup as a repeater. I followed instructions as too the wireless mode, security key, gateway, subnet and all that but I cannot see the DD-WRT router.
Okay I rebooted the repeater and entered the settings again from here and now it is working except I cant see my repeater now when i type 192.168.2.1.
Belkin N150 Wireless Modem Can't Connect
Apr 10, 2013I recently had trouble with my Comcast Xfinity internet service and called to have them send a refresh signal. I was up and running again with my ethernet, but my wireless service using a Belkin N150 wireless router hasn't worked.From everything I had read I needed to do a hard reset of the Belkin N150 router and then reconfigure it's settings. Well I did the hard reset and power cycled everything, the modem, computer and router. I then plugged in everything again and connected the modem to the WAN on the router with one cable, and the computer to the LAN on the router with another cable. (I am using a Macbook Pro operating with Mac OSX). Now I cannot connect to the url...to configure the settings on the router at all!
I think the problem has something to do with my IP address. I opened the network settings and saw that my IP address is 50.138.25.x while my Subnet Mask is 255.255.254.0 and the router is being listed as 50.138.24.x. How to change this IP address to get my router connected or could it be another problem?

I want to keep the same 192.168.2.3 address for my camera regardless of how many other devices are connected when I switch it on. If the address changes I need to connect a cable to access it.On my previous prehistoric Netgear I could reserve addresses that I didn't want to change. I tried turning off DHCP but then couldn't access the router from the wired PC and had to reset it all. Then I had to run cables down the garden to reconnect the camera.Can I turn DHCP off for some addresses that I want to keep?

After I connected the ethernet cable to the router and plugged everything in, I installed the program from the CD that it came with. After the whole process, it says "You are now connected to the internet!". Yeah well when I try to get on the internet, it suddenly takes the connection off. On my wifi status, it says it's not connected anymore. When I try to connect again, it says I'm connected, although if I get on internet explorer, it takes off the connection again. Though when it is connected, it says no internet connection available although I am connected to the router. So basically, I'm connected to the router, but not the router to the internet.

I installed the drivers, plugged it in, since then, i have had 2-3 bars constantly, mostly 2 bars, The router is only 8-10 Feet away from me in the next room which is seperated by a very thin wall, It cuts off all together if a body stands in front of it, such as my brother coming in to chat. I have tried to move it around the room with no joy, All laptops and other wireless devices in the house connect to the router fine (Including downstairs in the garden even),Im a gamer, so i need a stable strong connection and its impossible to stay in games with this dongle.

Jul 12, 2012I have just bought a Belkin n150 router. Connected it to my modem and PC and I'm recieving internet. Connected my phone and laptop and getting wireless.The issue, however, is that I cannot login to the router page. The login says to leave blank for default, but it gives me an incorrect password error. I have tried resetting using the button located above the power cable to go back to defaults, but I continue to recieve the error.
I have tried a all the other usual default passwords, password, administrator, admin, etc.I've gone through pages of google search results and found nothing. Have I missed something obvious or did Walmart sell me a defective router?

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Never had an issue before up until now.

Nov 3, 2012I recently got a Belkin N150 Enhanced Router Model F6D4230-4 V1. I upgraded it to the recent firmware.
I use it NOT to access internet, but only to hook up my desktop computer with my laptop and my tablet PC. I use Win7 Ultimate on both computers. I configured a Win7 home network and I managed to access shared files between the 3 devices.
However, the speed is very very low, not going over 1.5 MB per second , sometimes even less, although the signal strength is the maximum (54).
The distance between the laptop and the desktop is only 4-5 meters, in the same room. My laptop is HP Compaq 6710b which has what seems to be a "Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" .
Transfer speed is the same whether transferring from or to the laptop. I configured the laptop according to the instructions in the manual.
