Belkin N150 Wireless Modem Can't Connect
Apr 10, 2013I recently had trouble with my Comcast Xfinity internet service and called to have them send a refresh signal. I was up and running again with my ethernet, but my wireless service using a Belkin N150 wireless router hasn't worked.From everything I had read I needed to do a hard reset of the Belkin N150 router and then reconfigure it's settings. Well I did the hard reset and power cycled everything, the modem, computer and router. I then plugged in everything again and connected the modem to the WAN on the router with one cable, and the computer to the LAN on the router with another cable. (I am using a Macbook Pro operating with Mac OSX). Now I cannot connect to the url...to configure the settings on the router at all!
I think the problem has something to do with my IP address. I opened the network settings and saw that my IP address is 50.138.25.x while my Subnet Mask is 255.255.254.0 and the router is being listed as 50.138.24.x. How to change this IP address to get my router connected or could it be another problem?

How do I fit the LAN chord fit in the ADSL slot? Any alternatives? My ISP comes with a LAN chord and is connected directly to my PC.

My computer has an internal wireless connection so we had no problem getting it hooked to mine, however, my husband is trying to hook on with a Belkin router. The router appears to be reading that the Verizon service is there but when he goes to connect to the internet it says it won't connect. We've tried resetting the router and restarting his computer. It did not fix the problem.

After I connected the ethernet cable to the router and plugged everything in, I installed the program from the CD that it came with. After the whole process, it says "You are now connected to the internet!". Yeah well when I try to get on the internet, it suddenly takes the connection off. On my wifi status, it says it's not connected anymore. When I try to connect again, it says I'm connected, although if I get on internet explorer, it takes off the connection again. Though when it is connected, it says no internet connection available although I am connected to the router. So basically, I'm connected to the router, but not the router to the internet.

Also listed at 'IPAutoconfigurationAddress'. My laptop connects fine plugged into the same port getting it's IP automatically (192.168.2.2) and getting internet fine. I've tried adding a DWORD entry 'IPAutoconfigurationEnabled' = 0, also tried deleting the 2 values.Tried setting the IP manually to 192.168.2.6 - limited connectivity goes away but I get no internet connection from the router nor file sharing.

My setup use to work on vista. I've ran belkin setup from the disc multiple times and it gets to the part where it says connect and make sure cables are connected. All cables are connected, but my router has a solid amber light. I can access arris through wired internet, but I really want my wireless to work.

Aug 6, 2012Last week, a big storm rolled through my town while I was out of the area on business. I had a working LAN/WLAN for my home & home office, and the modem I was using got fried by the storm. Strangely enough nothing else was affected..Anyway, I went out and bought an identical modem, and had it set up with Comcast. If I connect directly to the modem, everything works perfectly. But when I try to attach my router to the new modem, I have no connectivity over wifi OR hardwired to the router. According to the status light on the router, it can't find a connected modem.I reset the router back to factory settings, installed the newest firmware, and moved my DHCP pool out of the default range. I then power cycled the whole setup - twice - with no success.

Jul 12, 2012I have just bought a Belkin n150 router. Connected it to my modem and PC and I'm recieving internet. Connected my phone and laptop and getting wireless.The issue, however, is that I cannot login to the router page. The login says to leave blank for default, but it gives me an incorrect password error. I have tried resetting using the button located above the power cable to go back to defaults, but I continue to recieve the error.
I have tried a all the other usual default passwords, password, administrator, admin, etc.I've gone through pages of google search results and found nothing. Have I missed something obvious or did Walmart sell me a defective router?

The connection with the Roku is perfect. Feb 19, 2012We got a 1921 router that works fine. We ordered Verizon Businss One Static IP ADSL. It came with a Westell Modem that we configured in bridge mode. When we do a test by assigning a static IP to our laptop then hook it up to the Westell it works fine. We can browse the web. Then when we assign a static IP to the Ethernet on our 1921 then connect it to the Westell it doesn't work. We can't ping out from the router to for example 4.2.2.2. From the router we can't even ping the default gateway (on Verizon's side).

Jan 31, 2012I bought a new cable and rewired the ISP connection because mice chewed on the cord in the attic. I have a belkin N150 as the main router with the connection comming in to it. I have the DD-WRT that we want to setup as a repeater. I followed instructions as too the wireless mode, security key, gateway, subnet and all that but I cannot see the DD-WRT router.
Okay I rebooted the repeater and entered the settings again from here and now it is working except I cant see my repeater now when i type 192.168.2.1.
