Jun 28, 2011A week ago I accidently clicked the disable icon on wireless network connection on the bottom right icon on my PC screen. I quickly reversed this but now for some reason, all the wireless networks that are around me cannot be picked up on my Phillips Freevents Windows XP.it was able to pick up two wireless connections and now, not even a trace of one. The other laptops in the house can pick up the wireless connections so I know its working.The internet works when the box is connected to the computer but I need the box in another room so wireless is essential.

Sep 24, 2012This is a Sony Vaio E series laptop running Windows 7 that I've had for close to a year now. The problem began about two days ago with the wireless connection getting dropped randomly (no signals found). The first few times it happened I ran Troubleshoot and it fixed itself, and picked the connection back up. Yesterday when it happened again the troubleshoot failed. I check my router connections, reset it a few times, checked my other computer's connections (all fine) then finally tried restarting the laptop. When it came back up it connected to the internet again. This has since happened three times, and each time I have to completely restart the laptop to get the wireless signal back.

Jul 11, 2011My internet has been working fine until a few minutes ago, when my connection just vanished. I went to try and reconnect but my Belkin N Wireless USB adapter could not find any wireless networks to connect to. While searching for a connection, the light starts blinking like it is searching, but then it says that it can't find any. Also, when I plug in the adapter, a popup comes up saying that there are wireless networks nearby, but when I click it there are still none.
I've tried reinstalling drivers but still nothing. I'm not sure what else to try because I'm afraid I might mess something up even more.

Apr 23, 2011I purchased two WUSB600N V2 wireless adapters recently and have had nothing but problems on an otherwise stable network where I have iPads, iPhones, Netbooks, media centres, wireless printers, Notebooks and other USB PC-based network devices working without problems.
The WUSB600Ns are connected to desktop PCs, running WIndows XP SP3. I have removed the Linksys Network Management software and use Microsoft's wireless network management software. I am running the latest drivers 1.4.10.0 for the cards. My WAP is a Belkin F5D-8236-4 running in WAP only mode. It is set to 40Mhz Channel 11 primary, Channel 7 secondary. Protected Mode is off, Broadcast SSID is on. I run WPA2-PSK AES for encryption. Note: I've tried all combinations of bandwidth and channel settings. I've run Netstumbler to find clear air channels - 11 seems best.
The issues are:
* seldomly connects at boot automatically without intervention.
* occasionally does not find WAP to connect to.
* sometimes will not connect to WAP - sits at "Acquiring Network Address".
* sometimes will not even get to Acquiring Network Address.
* Will often, once connected, after a while lose connection - the timeframe is inconsistent.
All of my other devices do not have these issues. I've been working on this issue for about a week trying to stabilise, even get a consistent failure pattern, but I'm about to send them both back.These are close to the most frustrating devices I've configured and I've got a lot of stuff on my network.

I've tried multiple cables which I know work, there are no errors on the network device and all my TCP/IP settings are auto detect.

You name it, it doesn't see an internet connection. I can get online, download a program from the internet, install it and tell it to check for and update only to tell me there is no internet connection.I checked internet explorers connection settings to see if a virus or something had created a proxy server, nothing there.I ran ipconfig /all and checked there, nothing unusual.my windows firewall is turned off, and as far as I know I don't have any other firewalls installed.There must be something in common that all these programs must use in order to get online that is somehow messed up. Could my winsock be corrupted in such a way as to allow manual downloading but not automatic?

Feb 17, 2012I have 3 932ls and one 930l in a house in Massachusetts, all registered onto my dlink. All went fine.I brought 3 more 932l and one 930l to a house in Mexico. I had problem w the 932l wizard. Then I noticed that I had brought 2 different wizard discs. They were different versions, the older one could not find a Internet connection, so I could go no further. I tried the newer version of the 932l wizard, it found my Internet connection, and did installation and registered all three 932ls to my current mydlink account. All fine so far. On my mydlink account I have the three Massachusetts 932s , the one Massachusetts 930, and the three Mexico 932s.
I had forget to bring the 930L disc for the installation. Here is where the problem started. I downloaded the 930L wizard from the Dlink site, but I can't get past that first section where is says " checking active x, checking Internet, checking LAN " or something to that effect. It then says " can't find Internet connection, check your adapter, router, etc" or something to that effect. I can't go any further with that wizard. I was able to find the cam from my router and finally got that 930L interface, and did the manual as well as the automatic set-up. I can see the cam perfectly, by going to 192.168.1.101 I can log in, reset my password, did everything. I can see cam wirelessly.
The problem is that I CAN'T register it to my mydlink account, and hence can't see it on mydlink lite , etc.I can ONLY see the cam INTRANET - WISE.the 930L wizard that I downloaded is worthless. I have disabled firewall, did everything, tried an XP PC, as well as a windows 7 laptop.Is there any way to add the cam to my mydlink account ? I even tried the 932L wizard that DOES find my Internet connection, but it doesn't find my 930 at the part where I have to chase a cam to set up. If I can't add the 930L to my mydlink account, I would even be happy if I could access it from the 192.168.1. ddress, but I dont know how to set that up so that I can do that from a different network than my own. I suppose that there must be a way to get to my modem, my router and then to that 192.168.1.101 address?

Jun 14, 2011I have this Huawei E1552 (HSDPA USB Stick) and I can't figure out how to do two things: 1. I'd like to make it share it's internet connection wirelessly to other devices. I've managed to connect my PC and PS3 with ethernet cable to get connection and I believe some have managed to do it wirelessly, but I can't figure out how to get my Nintendo 3DS to find that connection. I've tried putting wireless connection in the sharing part of the connection, but it didn't seem to work.
