Cisco VPN :: ASA 5510 / VPN Client Cannot Access Remote Servers

I have successfully installed and configured VPN Client - Version 5.0.07 to connect to ASA 5510 from a remote workstation. Here is the problem, I cannot ping any of the servers or workstations after I successfully connect. I can ping the ASA 5510 using its internal LAN IP, but no other nodes will respond on the remote LAN.

But using remote VPN client we are able to get RDP from officeshore location but not able to access RDP from client location. Is there any additional changes required ?

Cisco Firewall :: Remote VPN On ASA 5510 Failing To Hit Public Servers?

I have a Cisco ASA 5510 that was set up as a VPN server for working remote.  I have disabled split tunneling so that all traffic created while VPN'd in goes through the ASA.  The problem I'm having I believe would be resolved if I enabled split tunneling but I would prefer another solution.  Now..for the problem.When a user is connected via VPN, they can hit all intended devices both public and private accept servers that have static NATs in the FW.  So Server A has a public of 1.1.1.1 which is one to one mapped to private address of 10.1.1.1.  Now if the remote user brings up a browser and goes to 1.1.1.1 it wont work.  The FW gives me a error which is posted below.  However, using the private IP of the server works.  I thought about trying to manipulate DNS to resolve this as the remote users are using URLs and not IPs when trying to reach these servers but again, was hoping I could resolve the NAT problem that the FW seems to be having.
 
Asymmetric NAT rules matched for forward and reverse flows; Connection for tcp src Outside:192.168.202.100/49238 dst INSIDE:1.1.1.1/80 denied due to NAT reverse path failure 192.168.202.x/24 is the remote vpn ip given via the ASA. 

Here are some configurations on the ASA:
 
static (INSIDE,Outside) 1.1.1.1 10.1.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.255

Trying to figure out how to configure the VPN client side to access a remote LAN.
 
Lan A - 172.16.17.0 - ASA5505 8.2(3)
Lan B - 200.200.0.0 - ASA5510
Cisco Client - V5
 
At present there exist a VPN tunnel between LAN A and LAN B. The client has a VPN tunnel to LAN A to run software package X on the LAN A server. The client also needs to run software package Y which needs access to a database on LAN B.  The computers on LAN A have no problem using package Y since a VPN tunnel exist between LAN A and LAN B. How can I get the Client to also access LAN B on the same tunnel created when the client connects to LAN A? I can't seem to get packets that are directed to LAN B to cross the Client tunnel to A which would then hopefully move onto the LAN A/ LAN B tunnel.

Users are connecting to Site A (PIX 515e) via Cisco VPN client and can access servers/resources within that site no problem. They cannot access anything within Site B (ASA 5505) however. Devices communicating between Site A and Site B have no issues (have site to site VPN configured). I'm assuming that I'm missing something in configuration - or is it not possible for VPN clients connected to the PIX firewall and access data on the other network?

I have setup a site-to-site VPN tunnel between 2 sites using CISCO rv120w.Everything works fine; any PC on one site can access all systems on the other site and vice-versa.The issue I have is when I start a VPN connection another site on Internet using IPSecuritas.I can initiate a VPN to site 1 and site 2; but when connected, I can only access servers that are located into the same site I'm connected to; I cannot ping the remote site.The Range of IP addresses on the internet during my tests is 192.168.11.0 (I 'm using a Mac)

-Systems with IP 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.10.1 are bridges
-Systems with IP 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.10.2 are CISCO rv120w

I have a old server that has custom apps developed by a bankrupt company that we can't replace yet. We are being tasked with upgrading the Operating System and security patches, while preserving the existing live server. I was able to accomplish this by virtualizing it, then cloning the virtual machine. Where I got stuck was, the custom app requires a specific host name. So, I got the idea to have the two servers live on different sides of the firewall until the test platform is accepted and the old live one can be retired.
 
My problem is that I have no experience with configuring a real firewall like this asa5510.
 
Servers are:
CM1 live server
CM2 test platform
ADS Active Directory and File and Print

I've started to carefully poke around in the Cisco ASDM-IDM, but haven't figured out how to access the DMZ from the outside (so far just testing with http as I don't have my certificate to setup https just yet). Am I missing something to get through to the DMZ from the WAN side?

I have an ASA 5505 that is on the perimeter of a hub & spoke vpn network, when I connect to this device using the VPN client I can connect to any device across the VPN infrastructure with the exception of the sub net that the client is connected to, for instance:
 
VPN client internal network connects to 192.168.113.0 /24 and is issued that ip address 192.168.113.200, the VPN client can be pinged from another device in this network however the client cannot access anything on this sub net, all other sites can be accessed ie. main site 192.168.16.0/24, second site 192.168.110/24 and third site 192.168.112/24. The ACL Manager has a single entry of  "Source 192.168.113.0/24 Destination 192.168.0.0/16 and the "Standard ACL 192.168.8.8./16 permit.

Cisco VPN :: ASA 5540 - Client On Windows 7 With No Remote Access

Recently i have received one of my collegue's laptop that is running windows 7.I have installed cisco VPN client version 5.0.07.0290 on it and  VPN client appears to connect to our ASA5540, but we are unable to connect (remote desktop) to any machines on our network as it does on our XP laptops.  Furthermore, we cannot ping any as well.  Also, while connected the Windows 7 machine is still able to access internet site as if split-tunneling was configured, which its not.
 
But after some searching , i found from "routeprint" output (shown below ) that my local internet gateway is prefered over the VPN gateway which is 10.10.4.1.Here 10.10.4.19 is the IP address assigned for VPN adaptor.
 
Network Destination        Netmask          Gateway       Interface  Metric          0.0.0.0                    0.0.0.0      192.168.1.1      192.168.1.2     25          0.0.0.0                    0.0.0.0        10.10.4.1       10.10.4.19    100
 
But after i manually add the below route on windows 7 laptop , it started connecting to remote desktop successfully.
 
route change 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 10.10.4.1 metric 20
 
But aftersome time of idle state , it is again going back to original route state of prefering the local gateway of 192.168.1.2 and thus unable to connect to Remote Desktop again.

I setup RA-VPN under local asa 5510 IP pool (192.168.127.0/24) and all was working fine. I got internet and local network access.
Then i have 5 site to site VPN working fine but when im traying to access to those L2L VPNs from the remote acces client im not able to do that. So after that i decided to obtain IP addresses from my DHCP server so i can obtain IPs from my local network (172.17.16.0/16) and then access normally to the VPN site to site. But the surprise was that the VPN cisco client is getting local IP address (172.17.16.222) perfectly but im not able to access even to my local network.

I have the same-security-traffic permit inter-interface same-security-traffic permit intra-interface enable.

We have two sites connect with an IPSec L2L VPN.
 
-Site A: 192.168.13.0/24

-Site B: 192.168.2.0/24
 
On both sites we have a ASA5505(Base license) to terminate the tunnel.On Site B we also got a remote access vpn to which we can connect using the vpn client.The lan2lan tunnel works fine and so the remote access vpn.Now i want to connect to Site A using my vpn client connected to Site B. [code] There are no vpn-filters or other special policys in place..If tried to ping from my vpn client to Site A while i was debugging ipsec 255 on site B: the asa matched the l2l-tunnel for traffic sourced from 192.168.25.x to 192.168.13.x but when im doing a show crypto ipsec sa detail there are no packets getting encrypted..so of course no packets reaching my asa on site a.

I have one user who is unable to Access Remote Network resources when connected to the VPN on his home network.  VPN shows connected and he is given a remote IP from the VPN Pool, but he cannot ping any IP on our network.  When connected using Sprint Wi-Fi card he is able to connect and access remote network from the same laptop.  Maybe there is some network overlap that I am missing.

Is it possible to allocate DNS IP with the VPN IP ?

We have ASA5500's deployed for remote access concentration.We use Cisco IPsec vpn client with a group policy the chacks for Network ICE BlackIce ersonal firewall.The powers-that-be wish to change to McAfee presonal Firewall ok..Now the Group Policy allows you to check for several pre- configured Firewalls, Cisco Integrated, Sygate, Zone Labs etc.So as McAfee are no listed then I am to assume we go for "Custom Firewall" and this is where I am struggling.To configure checking for a Custom Firewall I must have the Vendor ID and the Product ID.McAfee haven't the faintest idea what we're talking about when we ask them for these details.Or is there a way to extract them from the registry of a machine with the McAfee product installed?

Cisco VPN :: Remote Access ASA 5505 To ASA 5510 VPN?

I have not really set up ASAs nor VPNs on Cisco devices before. I'm currently attempting to configure a remote access VPN between ASA devices, a 5505 and a 5510. The 5510 is meant to be the server and the 5505 is meant to be the easyvpn client. The reason I am opting for remote access as opposed to site to site is that I have many 5505s at remote sites that I will need to configure in the future, and they will be moving around a bit (I would prefer not to have to keep up with the site-to-site configs). The 5510 will not be moving. Both ASA devices are able to ping out to 8.8.8.8 as well as ping each other's public facing IP.
 
Neither ASA can ping the other ASA's private IP (this part makes sense), and I am unable to SSH from a client on the 5510 side to the 5505's internal (192) interface. I have pasted sterilized configs from both ASAs below.

Cisco VPN :: Remote Access VPN Latency With ASA 5510

I have an end user who uses the Anyconnect VPN client to connect to our network through an ASA5510. He has a satellite ISP provider and is experiencing latency issues. Since latency issues are inherent with satellite services and since he has no other ISP alternative, any tweaks that may boost performance/reduce latency with his connection. Typcally, he sees slow performance and also network drives being intermittently available on his Windows 7 computer. he also has an internal wireless router at his home when he connects remotely. Performance when connected through a standard cable broadband connection is fine.
