My router (DIR-655) is all up and working but the only thing thats not working is a link to a picture posted on a web site. If you take the link and paste it in the web browser it displays fine, on a web site that should show the image in a forum, All I get is a white box with a X in it.

i still play with the motion detection feature of the 942L. Is there a way to see where on the live-picture the motion is detected?I do not see any motion on the srceen but the cam still detects motion and records every 60 seconds. I just bought a v3 TD-W8960N and I'm trying to see what is the latest firmware available?On the modem it came with 1.4.0 Build 111130 Rel.56405n.When I look on the website the listed latest version is w8960nv1_un_1_4_0_111108R40398.up (that is the file inside the zip package/link TD-W8960N_V1_V3_111108)Which is the newer version? The revision number on the firmware that came installed kind of looks like it is actually newer. But if it is newer, why is not available for download from TP-Link?

Question is: in the Administration GUI, is there a way to set it up so it displays PC-Name instead of MAC address in sections such as MAC Filter, Statistics, Logs etc?
Every time I check stuff I need to compare MAC address with PC name in order to find out who's who; so it would be nice to see directly PC Name.

However, when I initially connect to the router, either on the LAN or remotely via the internet, the router takes a long time to display the initial page (up to 1 minute) and then usually displays the page without any variable data included. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a network with a 2003 windows server and around 60 XP computers. I also have 2 different gateways. I am trying to access a webpage "eparts.rmpparts.com". When I enter the address it comes up to the page that says "IE cannot display the webpage".I have treid and both gateways and same result. I am also not able to ping the address from the PC within my LAN.I then went to a different network "not within my LAN" and I am able to access the site without any problem. I have accessed it from my phone also without any problems.I have tried to get to this page from the server and also around 5 other computers within the LAN and the same problem each time.I have security settings very low and also the firewalls are off. I tried on a computer that is connected to my LAN with no luck. I then disconnected that same computer and connected it to a different modem not within the LAN and had no prob getting to the site with the same PC.So I know it must have something to do with my LAN but I have no idea what it could be. I have tried everything I can think of and same result each time.

Except when i try configure an interface with an IP address i get this error: % IP addresses may not be configured on L2 links.Now. Ive looked around on the internet about this error. The router is running EIGRP and the two ports would have different ip addresses. How can we set up the router to use gi0/0 as the primary port and gi0/1 as the secondary (backup) port? The backup port would only be used if there was congestion on the primary port or if the primary port went down. Is there a way to force the router to make the primary link the best route?

I have two Internet links:ISP1: only Site 2 Site VPNsISP2: only HTTP/HTTPS traffic and incoming remote access VPNs With the security plus license I could correctly configure them both as active at the same time on the same ASA device. Also, I've successfully accomplished the following traffic separation:
Site to Site VPNs goes out through ISP1HTTP/HTTPS traffic goes out through ISP2 The customer request is that, when ISP1 fails the S2S traffic is relayed through ISP2 -> This is working fine, I've already tested!But when ISP1's service is restored and that link is working fine, I want that the S2S VPN traffic gets relayed through it again automatically, which didn't happen. My question is: using SLA will the S2S traffic be relayed through ISP1 again automatically when it's services are restored? If not, which technology should I use to accomplish this?
PS: This is all configured on only 1 ASA 5505 whose license was upgraded.

We have a site to site VPN from one client location to our production center in offshore. At the client side we have a PIX 515 used for the tunnel. Since the client requires a backup VPN over a different ISP we will have to add the ISP to the same PIX and then create the secondary VPN.
how we can acheive two ISP's on one PIX since only two Ethernet ports are availble.

I can not connect to the internet, even though it says that Im connected. What happens is when I boot up I will get internet access for about 2-3 minutes or enough togo to about a couple web pages and then connectivity will drop and I'll get the yellow triangle with an exclamation point on my network icon. The error traingle will go away after a few minutesand say I have connection again but when I go to a site I'll get "Can not display page" error. Things Ive tried was restarting the modem and router(it cant be a problem with either of them because I have another computer hooked up to the router and I have internet access on my other computer). Ive tried resetting winsock and renewed ip, no luck. Ive tried reinstalling Windows 7 64bit then also 32 bit. Thought maybe it could be a problem with the 64 bit. Ive gotten rid of my Nortons(read that could be a problem) so I uninstalled it. Ive tried unchecking Ipv6(or whatever it is) didnt work. I looked for Bonjour file in my services, didnt have it. I even bought a new NIC and my computer recognizes it but it doesnt work either. Drivers are all up to date, so says my computer when I tried to update them.
