Dell :: 1012 Get PIN Code To Unlock Modem With Ability To Work With Other Operators
Feb 27, 2012
My laptop DELL 1012 is attached to the operator AT & T, which in Russia is not working. I'd like to get a PIN code to unlock the modem with the ability to work with other operators. How I can do it? [code]
I am trying to switch my droid 2 global from verizon to t-mobile. Verizon will not give me the code however because I dropped the service after about three months of dramatic over/uncessary charges and fees.
im trying to use my dell inspiron 1012 to project onto another, bigger screen laptop. im usng vga cable, which poth laptops have vga.... but i cant seem to connect them. i can do it fine with my tv, but i cant find a way of projecting onto another laptop.
i installed windows 7 ultimate on my inspiron mini 1012 and i can't get to switch on the wireless (fn-f2). also i can't get to use my blue tooth device and switch off my wireless. the usb dongle i tried using only sends but does not receive.
I'm having issues connecting to the internet via wired or wireless connection. The Windows network diagnostics test advises to unplug the device, wait 10 seconds and turn the device back on. I've tried that several times with no success.
I've opened the Network and Sharing Center and see an Unidentified network as the active network.
I've plugged a LAN cable in from my modem and the local connection status show's packets being received but nothing being sent. The IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity show no internet access.I have two other lap tops running on this wireless network with no problems.
This is a Dell Inspiron 1012 and the wireless is a Dell 5541. It has Windows 7 installed
I have an Inspiron 1012 mini. A week ago, it worked fine and I was able to connect to the internet. Now I can't get it to enable a wireless connection. Using device manager, I can see that Radio is enabled. However, when I use the WLAN utility, the check box for enable/disable is unchecked and grayed out so that I cannot change it. Per suggestions from other forums, I have tried fn/F2, but nothing happens. Is this a hardware problem with my wireless card, or is there something I am missing?
I got DELL inspiron 1012 with built-in mini wireless card in windows 7 starter. The laptop could detect the card and I could connect to the internet until when I downgraded to windows XP service pack 3, and then it could not detect the card anymore. I downloaded all of the driver in DELL support site and installed them to the laptop but it sitll could not "see" the card. I checked in the Device Manager and did not see the folder "Network Adapter" at all.
I just got my dell dimension 2400 up n running again.
1) I need a new operating system . i know how to do that what with windows being designed to make computers work properly or what is the latest thats not vista or could i just get a copy from a friend? <--- that may not be particularly legal but idc i just want to know if it would work if a new disk is too expensive
2) I need internet connectability i have a working att wireless router brand new just got delivered today and i have a d link wireless reciever thing i just got from my buddy but how to get the internet up n running without boring holes in the floor / wall or dragging a cable 18 miles from the router to the computer so i need it to be wireless
3) I am not sure what to do with it do i just need soft ware updates or do i need hardware updates to get it up to speed with the so called "big boys even though its far larger than any laptop my goal is to have a fast running internet capable game capable and multitasking computer with which i can do.
I need limited access to cisco ASA 5520 for same operators. This operators can switch on/off vpn policy ONLY I grant "privilege cmd level 3 mode group-policy command vpn-tunnel-protocol","privilege cmd level 3 mode exec command configure" and "privilege cmd level 3 mode exec command write"

i have cisco CAP 3602e series access point to work with 5500 series controller with code 7.0i did not find VCI option 60 for this type of APs to configure DHCP. How I can let these APs will join the controller, i mean through which process DNS discovery methode and what about if i need to configure option 60 and 43 in dhcp for ap joining process to controllers.
I'm switching to cable internet service instead of DSL. My Netgear router will not work with my cable modem; but it works like a charm with my DSL modem. Is it a problem with the router setup? Good thing I still have the DSL service.
I have 10 Vostro 460s, the network cards are not being found on startup. You have to reboot the systems 3-4 times to get Windows to find the Network cards. All drivers are up to date. This may be related to a Windows update, since the machine were fine for a month or so until an Update came out.
I have been searching through the cisco docs for a while and i just cant seem to find this info. Can I run aironet 1600's with my wism running 7.0.116? Also, could I run my 1130 series ap's with a wism2? Basically, what is the minimum code level for a lightweight 1600, and what is the maximum code level for a lightweight 1130?
I recently install Windows8 Enterprise build 9200 on my Dell XPS L502X and everything is working fine so far except my modem. In device manager its installed properly but the network manager doesn't list it as an option to connect to (as it usually would in win7),
i recently reinstalled windows XP pro onto an msi ms-1012 laptop and after that i couldn't get internet by Wireless. and i started to install the required drivers and i could not find the wifi driver!(it has an integrated wireless 800 .11 b/g or sth like that)also, on device manager it has a missing icon (the big yellow ?) on the following devices:
PCI Modem; Network adapter
so i need to determinate, what exact wifi hardware i have, to download proper drivers.[URL]
I have tried Intel tools and latest drivers ( w/ and w/o pro wireless utility) but cannot pass thru code 10 error. Tried uninstall and install....as earlier card 4965 agn worked fine but seems like some conflict is stopping successful 5300 agn driver install.
I have a 3G USB Dongle.I want to unlock it so that I can able to use on any network and any affordable data plan !!is it really works if we unlock it ?
I have several associates that I am supporting who are working at a customer site. Two of those associates have recently started experiencing BSoD shortly after connecting to the customers network using the AnyConnect client v2.4.1012. I do not know for sure that AnyConnect is causing the problem, or is conflicting with something resulting in the blue screen, but in searching it appears it may be. The two associates having the problem also have the AT&T Global Dialer client installed on their assigned computer, and I have seen this has been a problem in the past with v2.2, though this was supposedly resolved. The other curious thing is that this just started happening, though they have been using the client for several months now, and the AT&T client has been installed the entire time.
All computers are XP SP3, Windows firewall disabled, McAfee 8.7.0i, and Verizon VZ Connect. The only computers with this problem are the ones with the AT&T dialer, and like I said, this just started to happen after several months without an issue.I would really like to avoid removing the AT&T client as they need that to connect to a different customer's network.
For several days, I have not been able to access any Wordpress.com websites and my blog is located on Wordpress. I can access every other website on the internet. I live in Nicaragua and my ISP is Intel. Everyone else can access my blog, however I am blocked from all wordpress.com sites. I can access my blog through a free proxy service, so I know my blog has been blocked. If I change my IP by paying for a proxy service?
I'm using Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client v2.4.1012 running on Windows 7/64 to connect to a client's network environment. Is there any method to the way that the client forces my Firefox and IE browser windows to close?
I am trying to connect a Westell 327W to a linksys etherfast cable/dsl router to support my new Kindle. The Kindle recognizes it but is unable to connect.
