Nov 22, 2011Above Error code was already mentioned in a thread from Nov. 2010, which is closed.URL: Network Error Code: 0x80070005 Tried same change in regedit, rebooted my Vista pc, but it gave no result overhere.Have network with 3 pc's(2x XP, 1x Vista); on drive E of a XP machine one map can be reached, another is unreachable, while getting the error code 0x80070005.

Jun 6, 2011I've got a work laptop (Dell E6410). Now I should qualify I'm a member of my employers IT Service Desk and I'm trying to discover how to fix this problem as its becoming more and more common (to the point we've even opened a Problem Report PR) but I'm unsure if the network ops team have contacted the TAC for support.
What I've done in the VPN client is set "LOG LEVEL 15" against everything so it spits everything out for diagnosis. This laptop I have 2 weeks ago was fine, since then its been spitting 412 error. And its beginning to frustrate the userbase.
- Laptop types: Dell E6400/E6410/E4310
- Connection Types: WiFi, Cabled or NextG mobile devices.
- VPN Version: 05.00.0003.0560a
- VPN Type: We use Group Authentication for the profile, then RSA + Domain login on the other end.
- OS: Win XP SP3
What have we tried:
- Deleting and recreating the RSA SecurID account for the user
- Reimaging the laptop
- Reinstalling the VPN
- Repairing the laptop
- Recreating the *.pcf file for the profile.
Originally I had found if using a NextG device and turning off the WiFi it would stop the 412 error but that has stopped working as a workaround and I've tried on both a cable connection (Direct to modem) and direct to my routed/switched network at home. Same error on 2 different types of internet connection.
In the log when I set L15 debugging I found....

I will try and find out what kind of end-point we have. But reading those snippits its like trying to activate the virtual adapter but can't seem to do it.

Apr 12, 2012 have an Inspiron N5030 (Model 5030-8277) which says it runs Windows 7 as a 64 bit OS. When I looked in the System Properties it confirmed it was a 64 bit OS.
However, upon trying to load the Windows 8 Consumer Preview (through VM Ware 8 - which has worked on my other 64 bit system so its not the file which is corrupt or the wrong VM Ware) the OS doesn't load in the virtual machine due to my system apparently being 32-bit and therefore incompatible with a 64-bit .iso file...
I have updated my BIOS to the most recent version available for my model.
So am I actually running on 64-bit or do I need to download specific drivers?
HP Laptop Running Windows 7 - Wireless Network Not Connected
Dec 24, 2012I was online then all of a sudden i got disconnected and now it won't show any network available. My other laptop and xboxes are online just fine, so I know then it's an issue with my one laptop. But I don't know how to fix it. No networks are found at all and internet only works when it's wired. I have a HP laptop running windows 7.How do I get my network to show up so I can have wirless internet again? Someone thought maybe new drivers but no clue what I really need to download. I only know basics of computer stuff.

Nov 3, 2011I have a dell studio 1557 running windows 7. I live in my own apartment with roommates in college, and i've been having some very bad issues with slow internet or constant down time. Here are some key points:
- I have Charter internet.
- My 2 other roommates have NO ISSUES.
- My laptop works in my family's house. They have Comcast. I went on vacation a week ago and there were no issues on the hotel internet. No issues from the school's internet.
- I have been using my android phone as a tether because the internet is more stable. It's slow, but consistent for the most part. This is extra frustrating because I shouldnt have slow internet. And I sure as hell shouldnt be paying for internet I can't even enjoy.
- Charter has replaced 2 routers. Both are brand new. They are net gear. Charter is clueless to my problem.
- I have reinstalled windows. Dell told me to try safe mode. I noticed NO ISSUES WITH STANDARD BROWSING IN SAFE MODE. This leads me to believe it is a software issue.
- The connection is non-existent when coming out of hibernation or rebooting. In the morning, i have to boot up, make my coffee, and only then will it give me access to the internet. Otherwise, page timeouts. It can take up to 10 minutes for the internet to work.
- Youtube and general multitasking is very bad. Slower connection than ever, page timeouts, and I often need to wait for a video/music to buffer before I begin enjoying it.
My laptop has been this way for upwards of 6 months.

Jun 12, 2013It appears that the 1395 WLAN mini-card on my computer does not support 802.11n wifi. Although the file implies that some 1395 cards may have 1500/1505 draft 802.11n capabilities. When looking at the driver details, it does not have any options or settings for 802.11n. Confusing. Since my computer is a number of years old, it may be that the wifi card is pre-cards with the 1500/1505 draft 802.11n capability.
My question is there an update driver for the 1395 mini-card that would allow the card to access my 802.11n router?
Is there a newer or compatible wifi card for the Inspirion 1525 (dell or otherwise) that can replace the 1395 mini-card so that I take advantage of my 802.11n router (Netgear N600 Dual Band Router) higher speed capabilities?
