Dell :: Inspiron 154 / Internet Explorer Will Not Change Highlight Color Settings For Search Pages Viewed

Jun 3, 2012

My Internet Explorer will not save settings/changes to highlight color of viewed pages in search results. It will not highlight search pages that have been viewed at all. I have Internet Explorer 9 & Windows 7 - 32 bit on a Dell Inspiron 1545. I have uninstalled & reinstalled Internet Explorer 9. Above mentioned application did not work on either Internet Explorer 8 or 9. I have cleared all cookies, deleted all temp. internet files, optimized disc space twice & done a Full scan w/ my Norton. I go to color setting under Internet Explorer make the changes & hit each "OK", but the changes don't take. The "Apply" button is recessed and is not functioning. This has been the problem for approximately the last week and 1/2, before that color highlighting function was working. This color highlighting feature of viewed pages does work in Mozilla fire fox, but that is not what I want to use.

Cisco Routers :: WRV210 Administration Pages Not Visible In Internet Explorer

Feb 17, 2012

I recently updated my firmware in my WRV210 router to Version which is the most recent on Cisco's download page. After upgrading the firmware, I found that some of the administration pages do not appear to load correctly in internet explorer version 9.0.5. For example, the ADMINISTRATION -> MANAGEMENT page has data but to see the data, I have to scroll down about 3 pages. All five entries under STATUS do not have any data visible at all which is typical for most of the other administration pages.  An image of the Status Router page is inserted below.   I have logged in to the administration pages with an old version of Firefox 3.0.14 and the pages are visible. The operating system that I am running is Windows 7 64bit.
I haven't run across any other entries like on this or other sites.

Linksys Wireless Router :: WRT54GL - No Internet Connection After Change Settings

Nov 24, 2011

I've had my WRT54GL for a few months now and have two computers that are wired and 3 that are wireless. I started having problems with conflicting IP's a couple days ago on one of my wired computers which was set for auto DHCP so I changed the settings and made it a static IP, this is when the problem started. I have Network Magic on all computers and even though it says I'm connected to the internet and the network, I am not able to get online. My other wired computer has been on Static IP for months and works fine.

Sharing :: Change Network Settings So Internet Connection Appeared As Public Network

Jan 25, 2011

I use my desktop for streaming media throughout the house. I found it was causing lag for gaming most likely because it was taking up all the bandwidth for the router. We had a 2nd router laying around as well as a 2nd wireless adapter so we set up a 2nd network that was not connected to the internet for strictly media streaming.I attempted to change the network settings so the internet connection appeared as a public network so that streaming of media was hopefully diverted to the non internet wireless adapter.I want a faster way of transferring large video files from my laptop to my desktop. I recently bought a crossover cable to do this through direct connection. Both use the same user name and password as well as run the same win 7 pro however the desktop is the 64 bit version. I set up both ipv4 with the same addresses. When it has worked I am only getting a connection speed of just over 10mb and once I connect the crossover cable between the computers it knocks out my internet connection on the wireless card.

Dell :: No Internet On 1546 Inspiron?

Dec 28, 2011

I was on the internet browsing as usual, then all of a sudden when I turned my laptop back on the internet was not working. There is a red cross over a dial-up symbol where the wireless symbol used to be. And when I go on "change adapter settings" nothing is there. On device manager, network adapters is missing unless I go on "show hidden devices".

I tried to install the drivers on my Dell 1546 Inspiron (Windows 7 64-bit). [URL] I am stuck on step 4 (see link) as I'm unsure which one to download under networks. I think its the Realtek Driver (RTL8103EL-GR) and when I install it a message pops up "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable."

I have spent countless hours searching online attempting to fix this problem. I read in numerous posts if I remove the RAM and place it back in after 10 minutes it should solve the issue, but others have said it did not work for them. I am inexperience and rather not open-up and remove anything in-case of further problems.

Dell :: Inspiron 660 - No Internet Connection?

Mar 21, 2013

I recently purchased 4 Inspiron 660 destkop with Windows 7 x64 Pro. When I plug them in to an ethernet connection, they are able to pull an IP address from DHCP but they do not connect to the internet. The network icon in the taskbar has a yellow exclamation point and has the message "No Internet Access" when I mouse-over it. I am trying to connect the computer in an office with a DHCP server. I have not joined the computer to the domain yet. I can plug any of my other computers into the same ethernet port and they will connect to the internet including other computers with the same OS and computers with XP SP3 or Vista. I have also had another tech connect the computer to other ethernet ports that we know work with other computers and the computers still cannot access the internet.

I have already tried the solution here: [URL] which advises you to uninstall the free McAfee software (which was already done or the computer didn't come with it) and uninstall a windows update which we did. The computers still do not connect to the internet. Are there any other possible solutions? These computers are straight out of the box and unaltered other than removing the software and update in the above link.

Could this have anything to do within the Atheros Smart Net software or the Intel Trusted Connect Service Client? I'm not familiar with this software or what it is supposed to do.

Dell :: Inspiron 17r No Internet For Browsing

Oct 8, 2012

My computer is a inspiron 17r and is only a month old. for the last week or 2, it has been disconnecting from the internet while at home. The computer says it has an internet connection and is discoverable on the LAN, but will not connect to the internet for browsing, email or any other internet activity. I can restore the internet by rebooting the computer, or by rebooting the router and modem, or by deleting the network and re-establishing it through the network sharing center. Any of these will work, but somewhere between 1 minute and several hours, I will again lose the internet. I have several other computers and devices and none of them lose the internet so I know the router and the modem are fine. This also ONLY happens at home. I take the computer to work and connect with no problems and stay connected for 9 or 10 hours.

I have looked for answers and have tried ip release and winsock resets. these also work for a period of time but eventually fail as well.

Dell Inspiron 15R Laptop - No Internet Access?

Aug 21, 2012

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R laptop. I can connect to the internet with excellent connectivity but it still shows "No Internet Access". I have been struggling since last 2 days to resolve this issue so have gone through various forums to find a solution but none worked. Here are the things that I have already tried:1. Restarted / Reset my modem.2. ipconfig / release and renew.3. Deselect IPv6.4. net stop and start for winhttpautoproxysvc and dhcp client.5. Turn off McAfee firewall.6. Reset network adapter settings.I can connect to internet in "safe mode with networking" but not in normal mode.In fact, I can connect to the same wi-fi using my smartphone. Somebody suggested me that it could be a dnschanger virus attack. I checked that also and it's not that virus.

Dell :: Internet Connectivity With Inspiron 7520

Following, every 10 minutes I'm online, my network access stops working completely. But if I just CLICK on the network icon in the tool bar, it starts working again, but it stops in the next 10 minutes again, and so on. If I try to repair connectivity problems, it always find and fix some problem in the network adapter or wireless point, but then again, after 10 minutes or so, it happens again. My network adapter is a Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n 2.4ghz and I have tried to update it and to re-download the firmware, but nothing seems to fix it.

The 'repair wireless network connection' does not work, it tries to repair it then stops at 'renewing your IP address'. It has nothing to do with the wireless network, because we are at a university and only this computer will not work.

here is the ipconfig /all
